Following yesterday’s events, Li Junlin successfully persuaded his sister and brother to join the academy, which was indeed cause for celebration.

The gifted individuals were already formidable; with the addition of Martial Dao training, their potential growth was immense, though Li Junlin couldn’t predict just how far they could go – it certainly held great promise.

While waiting, two more people arrived, one of whom Li Junlin recognized from the previous night – Captain Chunqiu, accompanied by someone resembling him closely.

With Wu Xianyao absent, Li Junlin took the initiative to welcome them.

Chunqiu had spent much of last night pondering over the admission letter, struggling with doubts about the viability of the Martial Dao path. It wasn’t that predecessors hadn’t attempted research before; however, all their efforts had ultimately proven fruitless.

Yet, recalling Wu Xianyao’s extraordinary strength during the battle with Chen Beixuan and Li Junlin, Chunqiu decided to investigate further himself.

If he found any promising results, he could then convince his team members to sign up as well. The voice echoing in his mind suggested there might be genuine progress this time.

Qiu Xia shared similar thoughts; if not for witnessing Wu Xianyao’s prowess the previous night, she wouldn’t have come either. However, she didn’t expect her sister to join her.

“Hey sis, what brings you here?” Qiu Xia asked, surprised.

“I was curious; Wu Xianyao displayed immense power during yesterday’s mission. I wanted to see for myself. And why are you here? Weren’t you on a protection duty?”

Qiu Xia pursed her lips, “My assignment target is actually here now, so I decided to check it out,” she replied.

Neither sister mentioned the dangerous events from the previous day, not wanting to worry each other.

As Li Junlin finished serving tea, Wu Xianyao appeared unexpectedly, but no one questioned his sudden arrival. This was due to the system’s subtle influence, allowing Wu Xianyao to materialize without concern.

“Welcome! Welcome! Have you all made your decisions?” Wu Xianyao, clearly uncomfortable with such social situations, realized he needed to prioritize finding an assistant soon.

“Greetings, Wu Xianyao. After careful consideration, we’re ready to join your academy. However, as you know, we are warriors and cannot be present at the academy regularly,” Chunqiu spoke, including Qiu Xia. The Nightwatchers often patrolled outside, and Wu Xianyao had no objections to them being absent from the academy. His only reservation was whether they could remain composed after witnessing the wonders of the Martial Dao—an aspect that remained uncertain.

“No problem at all. You don’t necessarily need to be present on campus constantly; if you have any questions, feel free to ask me.” Wu Xianyao reassured them, then produced enrollment notices for Li Linyue and Li Linyang to sign.

At that moment, Jiu Xian’er burst in energetically, “Master, Master, I’m here!”

However, upon seeing so many people gathered, she quickly closed her mouth and said, “Oh, Master, still busy? I’ll head to the Inner Court then.” With that, Jiu Xian’er swiftly disappeared like a gust of wind.

“Let’s go! We’ll proceed to the Inner Court together.” Wu Xianyao stood up, leading the group towards the Space Gate. The sight of mythical beasts flying around the golden gate left the new members exchanging glances – this academy seemed far from ordinary.

After entering the Inner Court through the Heavenly Stairs without issue, it was time for their orientation. Once Wu Xianyao had everything arranged, he would depart the academy.

Finding an assistant crossed Wu Xianyao’s mind; managing just four individuals took him an entire morning, highlighting the need for help with administrative tasks.

By the time Wu Xianyao finished handling these matters, he was drenched in sweat. Organization and administration were not his strong suits.

In a luxurious ancient-style mansion, a woman with an icy demeanor scrutinized the marriage matching results before her, causing the surrounding temperature to drop even further.

“Rematch Blackbird,” the woman commanded, clearly unsatisfied with the current match. The matching process began anew.

“Matching initiated. Match compatibility at 100%, perfect match.” Taken aback, the woman knew how rare this was – a 100% compatibility through the Blackbird system occurred only one in billions. With Great Xia’s population of fourteen billion, finding a man with such a perfect match could be considered truly exceptional for her.

She clicked open the details of the matched individual.

Name: Wu Xianyao

Achievements: 0

Age: 17

Family Status: Orphaned (no parents)

Personal Information: Current Headmaster of Immortal Martial Academy.

After a moment of contemplation, she declared, “Blackbird, solidify this match result; from now on, he will be my husband. Additionally, encrypt his information; I do not want him disturbed.”

“Ninth Princess, using your privilege to encrypt the data will revoke future access rights. Please confirm if you wish to proceed with encryption.”

“Confirmed!”

“Encryption complete. Data has been reported to the Blackbird mainframe.”

The Ninth Princess gazed at the man’s profile, lost in thought. This ordinary individual would be her future husband, yet curiously, he was also the Headmaster of an academy—an intriguing combination indeed.

“Xia Yi, arrange for the Immortal Martial Academy admission notice to be sent. I must see what kind of person my husband-to-be is. Starting an academy as just an ordinary individual? How fascinating!”

As the surrounding space fluctuated, the Ninth Princess knew that Xia Yi had set off to handle the matter.

Meanwhile, Wu Xianyao continued strolling through the streets. Lately, he felt like a street wanderer, often roaming and occasionally approaching passersby to promote his academy—it was truly challenging work!

Having posted job openings online, Wu Xianyao now wandered around District Eight. Only one area remained unexplored here, which was also the most chaotic part of the district.

Each district had such a place, largely ungoverned and thriving with illicit activities.

Wu Xianyao observed the street before entering it. He had visited a similar area in District Nine but found no suitable candidates there; perhaps District Eight might yield better results.

Despite its reputation for chaos, this place primarily housed individuals struggling to survive amidst adversity.

As Wu Xianyao entered the narrow street, someone reached out for payment. He handed over one hundred yuan, and only then did the burly man step aside.

This area was filled with goods from battlefields, including young Xenobeasts, weapons, and even armor.

Wu Xianyao stopped at a shop entrance: Kobayashi’s Weapon Store.

He stepped inside, aware that operating a weapon store in the black market likely indicated significant influence behind it.

At the storefront stood two lifelike mannequins, greeting visitors, “Welcome to Xiao Lin’s Weapon Store.”

One male mannequin wore a tailcoat, while a female mannequin donned a Lolita-style dress. Underneath their realistic synthetic skin, they appeared almost indistinguishable from real people. Only by sensing the absence of heartbeats could Wu Xianyao confirm they were indeed mannequins.

Surveying the items around him, Wu Xianyao’s eyes lit up. The store boasted an array of weaponry – swords, guns, spears, armor, and more. However, these armors seemed handmade rather than standard military issue.

Upon checking the prices, he found them exorbitant; a single set of armor cost one million, and weapons started at ten thousand.

Despite this, none of these seemed suitable for Qi and Blood Martial Artists in Wu Xianyao’s assessment.

He prepared to leave the small shop.

“Wait!” A synthesized electronic voice called out.
