“Wu Xianyao, no Innate Skill, next.”

“Li Yunxiao, no Innate Skill, next.”

Wu Xianyao walked dispiritedly down the street. This world was perilous, with exotic beasts lurking outside, which he referred to as the Monster Race.

Out of billions of people, only around a hundred thousand were gifted individuals. In vast Great Xia, each year’s attacks by the Monster Race resulted in massive casualties among ordinary citizens, often numbering in the millions or tens of millions.

The territory of Great Xia continuously shrank until only nine bases remained, each housing over ten million people, making them incredibly crowded.

Despite this, Great Xia never abandoned its people. With every individual having a chance to become gifted, increasing the population base meant more potential talents would emerge.

Wu Xianyao aimlessly wandered back to his residential area, knowing that ordinary people were merely cannon fodder in this world.

Ordinaries without innate skills were matched for marriage at eighteen and compelled to join the military once they had offspring. This law was strictly enforced.

Surviving ten military campaigns allowed one to retire from service.

However, out of every ten who enlisted, it was considered fortunate if three returned intact. Those who did come back often suffered amputations or severe disabilities like blindness or deafness.

For ordinary soldiers, the mortality rate was ninety percent, and even for the gifted, survival was uncertain.

Despite this, they all participated without regret, driven by their will to live.

Wu Xianyao had been living in this world for seventeen years, starting his martial training at the age of ten. However, he had already reached the peak achievable by an ordinary individual.

His current maximum punch strength was three hundred kilograms, with no way to break through further.

Unfortunately, it proved futile because even a mediocre monster beast could deliver a claw strike with over a thousand kilograms of force.

In his previous life, Wu Xianyao loved practicing martial arts and became a renowned Grandmaster. He maintained that passion in this life as well, initially believing it to be a transcendent realm where the Martial Dao could flourish. However, here, the path of the Martial Dao was completely cut off.

Ordinary individuals remained just that; attempting to surpass their limits invariably led to death or more death.

But he was wrong, terribly mistaken. Without innate talent, one amounted to nothing.

[Detecting host, initiating binding process, binding successful… May your martial journey prosper.]

To Wu Xianyao, this voice felt like a lifeline thrown amidst drowning waters.

“System?”

He repeatedly called out to the system, but there was no response.

Silently, he willed himself to open the system interface.

The panel appeared.

[Immortal Martial System activated. Please select a mode.]

[Modes Available:]

– Personal Mode

– Preaching Mode

– Entertainment Mode

Seeing these three modes, Wu Xianyao, thinking about the ordinary people of this world, decisively chose Preaching Mode without hesitation.

[Host: Wu Xianyao]

[Realm: None]

[Age: 17]

[Gender: Male]

[Physique: None]

[Preaching Points: 100]

[Current Time for Deducing Martial Dao: 1 minute]

Wu Xianyao examined the panel, noting he could deduce the Martial Dao for one minute.

This needed careful consideration.

The current world is perilous, with Monster Races frequently invading settlements. Without focusing on Martial Skills, deducing realms seemed more feasible.

“System, deduce the Martial Dao Realms.”

[Deduction Failed – No Reference Points Provided]

Reference points? The realms require reference points.

An idea struck Wu Xianyao, and he quickly grabbed paper and pen.

Martial Dao, entering Dao through Martial Arts; Martial Qi, source of blood essence.

Essence of Martial Artists’ Origin Qi, genesis of blood…

First Realm: Body Tempering Realm.

Temper the body externally to generate Origin Qi, progressing from Qi and Blood akin to water, then to a river, ultimately reaching a sea-like state.

Second Realm: Blood Ignition Realm.
Using the Dantian as a furnace, with Qi and Blood as fuel, refine oneself by tempering bones, skin, and internal organs.

Third Realm: Spirit Gathering Realm.
Open the Divine Sea with Qi, harnessing energies of Heaven and Earth, unblock meridians, store thoughts, observe godly demons.

After pondering throughout the night, Wu Xianyao compiled his ideas for the Martial Dao realms.

“Only by trying will we know if it works.” Wu Xianyao promptly initiated the system’s deduction process.

“Deduction started. Unknown Martial Dao system, analyzing…”

[Deduction progress: 1%, Insufficient Deduction Time. Use Preaching Points to continue?]

[Use Preaching Points]

[Deduction time increased by ten minutes.]

[Deduction progress… 10%… 20%… 80%… 100%… Deduction complete.]

Wu Xianyao broke out in sweat; the deduction finished just in time, narrowly avoiding disaster.

[Unknown Martial Dao deduction completed. Please name the system before viewing details.]

“Qi and Blood Martial Dao”

Wu Xianyao opened the panel to examine the results.

[Martial Dao: Qi and Blood Martial Dao / Recorded]

[Difficulty: ★★★★]

[Current Realms Deduced: Body Tempering, Blood Ignition, Spirit Gathering]

[No reference points available for further deduction]

“It worked!” Wu Xianyao clenched his fists, feeling relieved.

[Host has acquired the Qi and Blood Martial Dao System. Immortal Martial Academy activated, rewarded with incomplete Nine Suns World Illuminating Art.]

[Congratulations! Host granted Acting Headmaster authority.]

[Tasks assigned…]

[Task 1: Enroll three students. Reward: Ten minutes of Deduction Time. Deadline: One year.]

[Task 2: Admit ten students, Reward: Deduction Time of 30 minutes and one faculty member, Time Limit: One year.]

[Task 3: Establish the Immortal Martial Academy and admit thirty students, Reward: Martial Skill – Heaven Slaying Sword Drawing Technique, two additional faculty members, Time Limit: Two years.]

Wu Xianyao felt the presence of an academy within his mind, but it was currently sealed.

However, some areas were accessible, including the teaching building and the cultivation hall.

Wu Xianyao vanished from his room, appearing instead within the world envisioned in his mind.

A message materialized before him:

This is the Immortal Martial Academy, existing nowhere else but here, with entry approved only by the Headmaster.

The grand entrance gate stood majestically, leading to a thousand-step staircase known as the Heavenly Stairs. To enter the academy, one must ascend these steps.

Even Wu Xianyao’s recruited students would be expelled if they failed to climb the Heavenly Stairs.

The sole purpose of the Heavenly Stairs is to test an individual’s dedication to the martial path.

Inside the academy, modern facilities prevailed. Teachers conducted academic classes, while training rooms focused on martial instruction.

Cultivating martial skills alone without nurturing the mind is insufficient.

The surroundings were meticulously planned, featuring flower beds filled with various Spirit Medicines. Occasionally, small animals scurried past amidst gentle breezes, creating a serene atmosphere that evoked a sense of peaceful tranquility for Wu Xianyao.

Shaking his head, Wu Xianyao entered the cultivation hall, where numerous training equipment were neatly arranged.

The academy boasted ten training buildings, ten academic teaching blocks, five faculty residences, and ten student dormitories divided equally for males and females.

There was also a spacious supermarket, a large dining hall, and a dedicated floor for clubs and activities.

With all facilities complete, Wu Xianyao awaited the arrival of students.

However, he didn’t rush and instead began cultivating using the Spirit Medicines at hand. As a Qi and Blood Martial Artist, the First Realm comprised three stages: Qi and Blood like Water, Qi and Blood like River, and Qi and Blood like Sea.

Every effort yields rewards, and with a long task deadline of one year, it was best to first enhance his own strength before venturing out.

In the training room, Wu Xianyao worked up a storm, consuming Spirit Medicines whenever hunger struck.

Within a day, Wu Xianyao surpassed the 300-pound limit, reaching 310 pounds. He realized that with the system’s aid, his path in the Martial Dao could expand continuously; the more he practiced, the higher his potential would grow.

No longer would the gifted be the only ones capable of survival; many ordinary individuals could now endure as well.

Wu Xianyao felt a heavy sense of responsibility weighing on his shoulders.

For over three thousand years, the Martial Dao had been deemed obsolete in Great Xia, leaving few who understood its significance today.

The gifted families held dominance, but even their unions did not guarantee the birth of new talents—a fact supported by extensive data analysis.

The emergence of the gifted remained unpredictable, with numerous factors at play, none fully comprehended by Great Xia.

If someone were to mention the Martial Dao now, they might face fierce backlash, as it was believed incapable of breaking human physical limits.
