The strange dragon flew before this horizontal line.

The horizontal line had already been broken in half during the previous destruction, very fragile.

The strange dragon looked at this horizontal line with a face full of irritation.

It hadn’t paid attention to this unremarkable character before.

Compared to other characters, “Dream” seemed somewhat special.

Whenever the previous little small fry came here, various strange composite characters would begin falling from the horizontal line.

These composite characters were all like amalgamations of various strokes, very abstract.

After appearing out of thin air from the horizontal line, the composite characters would fall toward the little small fry below, but these composite characters wouldn’t cause any harm to the little small fry—they would only let it experience a brief adventure.

Afterward, these composite characters would suddenly shatter and disappear without a trace.

These composite characters were all very dreamlike, their combinations unexpected.

The strange dragon looked at these composite characters, and a trace of nostalgia actually appeared in its eyes, as if returning to childhood.

But this moment of nostalgia was quickly swallowed by desire.

It reached out and shattered these composite characters that fell slowly like bubbles, charging upward toward the horizontal line.

The composite characters that fell also began to cut away the excess strokes on the strange dragon’s body, which fell back to the ground.

The strange dragon was also overjoyed. After sensing its own changes, it floated in the air and looked back.

Mo Ling didn’t understand the strange dragon’s actions.

“Why did it want to repair the dream?”

Mo Ling couldn’t guess what would happen next.

The strange dragon reached out and grabbed, and the broken parts actually began slowly healing.

Complete composite characters also began falling from the repaired horizontal line.

Soon, the complete horizontal line appeared before it.

But at the moment the strange dragon passed through the horizontal line, Mo Ling understood.

“It used the dream to leap over the dragon gate?”

The strange dragon was no longer confined to the runic lines on the ground but leaped over the dragon gate and jumped into the air.

It broke free from the cage that had trapped it within the characters and flew up.

It was no longer a creature on the runes but roamed outside the runes, high above, no longer trapped by that cage, no longer limited by those fragile characters.

While the strange dragon abandoned those mistakes, it leaped into another dimension with an extremely simple posture.

Mo Ling was now unable to suppress the shock in his heart.

He saw the strange dragon no longer melding with the runic lines on the ground but leaping over the dragon gate and jumping into the air.

“What does it want to do?”

But when it saw its former world, it froze.

The strange dragon stared blankly at the runes below, unable to believe it.

In its eyes, complex emotions continuously intertwined, confusion and bewilderment, surprise and shock, and a trace of helplessness and panic.

These emotions even overwhelmed its joy at escaping the cage, and fearful emotions spread.

At this moment, this mighty dragon was like a helpless child.

Mo Ling had never seen the strange dragon so afraid. This fear from the heart even made the strange dragon tremble.

Would the overlord of the world also be so afraid?

Just as Mo Ling was puzzled, a weak but extremely desperate murmur reached into the Cube.

“My world is a string of characters?”

That was a kind of ultimate despair. When Mo Ling heard this voice, it was as if the world was shattering.

The strange dragon’s gaze swept over that broken world.

That was where it had once lived, now devastated by its actions.

The sunless sun, dried seas, land turned to dust…

At its original settlement, everything was magnificent. The treasures and power it had plundered from other characters were piled like mountains.

The brilliant walls made of beautiful stones emitted dazzling seven-colored light, and exquisite gem dragon carvings sparkled.

The mighty and imposing throne emanated coolness, that was the eternal glacier seized from other characters.

Luxurious and dreamlike.

That was its dragon palace.

But now, the dragon palace was also just a character.

A slightly prettier character.

“How can this be? How can this be?”

The strange dragon received a huge shock and kept muttering.

“Then what am I?”

It looked at itself, there was no powerful dragon body.

Just a simple drawing.

Plus a sphere.

A wooden sphere.

“I’m a sphere?”

The strange dragon quickly realized that this wooden sphere was the source of what made it different.

The so-called powerful body and infinite strength were just ordinary characters.

Its gaze immediately began to dodge, even somewhat afraid to look at itself again.

The initial majesty disappeared. The strange dragon trembled all over, didn’t look at its former world again, turned around, and flew toward the sky without looking back. Its hurried appearance was just like those innocent creatures it had once pursued.

It was now a deserter, with fear driving it to flee farther away.

Fleeing its original world.

Fleeing everything.

“Farther away, farther away…”

“Freedom…”

However, just as it looked toward higher places, it froze again.

That was a slowly moving cube…

Just like the former sun, floating in the sky.

But this metal cube sun had no light or warmth, just like a stone, only silently watching itself.

The strange dragon stiffened.

It no longer continued fleeing but confronted the cube in the sky.

The strange dragon still wanted to display its powerful abilities, but with a tremor, nothing happened. Its four dragon claws were weak and powerless, grasping uselessly in the air a few times, only stirring up a few gentle breezes.

All its abilities were based on its ability to interfere with characters.

But now, there were no characters for it to influence.

The strange dragon’s stiff body began trembling uncontrollably. It had never experienced such a feeling of weakness.

As fear spread, it actually began slowly turning black.

It could no longer control its body. Despair erupted again, and it questioned the cube in the sky with a hoarse cry:

“Creator, why do you treat me this way!”

“Huh?”

The bewildered Mo Ling hadn’t yet reacted when the strange dragon let out a wail and fell into the abyss.

It helplessly fell downward, crashing through horizontal lines in the void.

Finally, when the strange dragon fell into the last horizontal line, it returned to the original runic plane and crashed heavily to the ground.

It lay dejected on the ground, unable to move.

The horizontal dragon gate still floated quietly in the air, as if mocking the strange dragon. A composite character like a bubble slowly floated down and struck its body.

The dreamlike bubble shattered, and its dream came again.

This time, it no longer had the strength to tear apart these composite characters.

…

The little small fry had a dream of transforming into a dragon.

When the dream dispersed, the dragon body shattered along with the dream.

The little small fry swam again, swimming to its original position and quietly staying in place.

It became a lifeless character again.

…

Li Luo slowly raised her hand and turned to look at Jeff.

“Is this enough?”

“Yes.”

“That was quite simple.”

“Of course, there’s nothing complicated about it.”

“…”
