Mo Ling was immersed in that golden-glowing sea surface, as if watching a very long movie.

He was in the middle of the ocean, drifting with the current, letting the waves carry him to various places. Golden light warmly enveloped him as he floated up and down with the waves.

This illusory scene came to an abrupt halt after he saw a series of regularly flickering golden lights.

When Mo Ling came to his senses, he saw only familiar metal walls—he was back in the Cube.

He was lying on Martin’s bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.

This originally incredibly hard bed was now very soft.

An empty cola can lay beside his hand.

The ceiling seemed to have become very high. Mo Ling turned his head and saw that the space inside the Cube had doubled again, becoming 4m4m4m.

A large area had been freed up. The things originally placed in the corner had now come to the center of the Cube.

Mo Ling quickly stood up and extended his vision outside.

Sure enough, his vision had also doubled again, but the Cube was still small from the outside, showing no change when viewed externally.

“This kind of change seems to be permanent.”

“Is it because I went to the Abyss Third Layer?”

Mo Ling hadn’t expected such a gain, and now that he had returned to the Abyss Second Layer, the expanded space hadn’t disappeared at all.

“Flight speed can be increased quite a bit.”

Mo Ling’s flight speed was limited by his vision. Actually, he could fly very fast, but with limited vision, flying too fast would make him unable to react to things appearing ahead, so he had always been careful.

After realizing this, he immediately stabilized the Cube. Those water flows also became normal and flowed downward.

But there was something not quite right.

These water flows’ shapes kept twisting and changing, as if being blown by wind.

Suddenly, Mo Ling understood why this was.

“The Cube is also falling!”

Who knows, if he had been any later, the Cube would have crashed hard into the ground.

Looking toward the sky, the crack connecting to the deep sea had already disappeared.

Although the crack was closed, those water flows hadn’t yet fallen to the ground.

Mo Ling saw some water flows floating in the air in the distance, and some water flows even floating upward toward the sky.

After his fear subsided, Mo Ling quickly flew downward. Before long, he saw the ground.

This was farmland outside the city, now flooded by seawater.

Seeing the farmland, Mo Ling quickly determined his direction and flew toward Oasis City.

The area outside the high walls still had various kinds of candy. Mo Ling flew over the gummy bears and headed into the city.

Before long, Mo Ling returned to the position where he had previously seen Li Luo and the others according to his memory.

But the crowd had already dispersed at this point, with only some residents voluntarily cleaning up the remaining candy fragments.

Those enormous lollipops hanging in the sky had become safety hazards after the crisis passed.

Under the sunlight’s illumination, candy debris from the lollipops kept falling from the sky, and the pieces were getting larger and larger.

Falling from such a height was undoubtedly very dangerous.

The road surface already showed some pitted marks from being hit by candy chunks.

The guard team had set up warning lines and covered the ground with a hard fabric similar to nylon. Candy chunks hitting it could only leave faint white marks.

When flying near some low lollipops, Mo Ling saw some guards using Relics to clean the candy balls at the tops.

That was a Relic like a feather duster.

After the guard tickled that candy ball with the feather duster, the candy ball instantly became soft, then broke away from the stick and floated toward the sky like a balloon.

These candy balls turned into balloons floated farther and farther away, blown to distant places by the wind.

That feather duster seemed to have the ability to make objects lighter.

“What a peculiar Relic.”

While marveling, Mo Ling returned to Old Xu’s sheet metal house according to his memory.

He guessed Li Luo and the others were all here at this time.

Sure enough, as soon as he passed through the alley, Mo Ling saw Li Luo sitting glumly in the courtyard.

As if having telepathy, Li Luo suddenly turned her head and looked toward the Cube.

After discovering it was indeed the Cube, she shot up with a whoosh, directly jumped over the low wooden fence, and rushed toward the Cube.

“Where did you run off to?”

As soon as she reached the Cube, she took out various foods from her backpack and piled them on the Cube.

She seemed afraid the Cube was hungry.

So many things had happened during this time. Mo Ling could only keep it brief and simply explained about falling into historical virtual images.

“Next time stay close to me, don’t fly too high.”

“It’s good that you’re back.”

Her gloomy expression finally disappeared, replaced by a relaxed expression.

Carrying the Cube, Li Luo jumped over the fence again and entered Old Xu’s courtyard.

Old Xu looked at Li Luo’s behavior speechlessly, pointed to the fence gate nearby and reminded, “The door is over there.”

“Oh.” Li Luo looked back and answered flatly.

Old Xu shook his head helplessly, “It’s good that you found it. Come drink tea.”

Then he suddenly thought of something, looked at the Cube, and asked, “Does your Relic eat everything? Does it drink tea?”

His gaze was full of curiosity.

“I don’t know, probably?” Li Luo also had a curious expression.

Old Xu quickly poured a cup of tea, stood up, and placed it on the Cube.

Seeing this, Mo Ling was stunned for a moment, then collected the teacup.

…

Old Xu’s tea had a faint floral fragrance when drunk, but there was an extremely special taste in it, sweet like honey, yet rushing straight to the head, extremely cool like mint.

Not only that, but the taste also had a lychee-like fragrance. Yet this unique flavor didn’t overshadow anything at all, completely integrating into the floral fragrance and completely liberating the floral taste.

For a moment, Mo Ling could no longer distinguish whether he was drinking tea water or some other delicious beverage.

This taste seemed to have magical power, making the originally astringent tea water extremely gentle.

The tea water flowed through Mo Ling’s throat and actually made him feel a sticky sensation like loquat syrup, but without being cloying, flowing easily into his stomach.

“Delicious.”

Not only was it delicious, Mo Ling actually felt comfortable all over his body.

All his fatigue was dissolved by this cup of tea water. Even his body became lighter, though he wasn’t sure if it was psychological.

Before he knew it, Mo Ling had drunk the tea water completely clean.

He reluctantly teleported the teacup to Old Xu’s table, then looked at Old Xu expectantly.

But Old Xu didn’t seem to have any intention of pouring another cup for the Cube.

“You see, I told you so. Even Relics can’t resist this taste. It definitely wants another cup now,” Old Xu said proudly. “How about it? Should I pour you a cup? Want to try?”

But Li Luo and Li Xiangyi in front of him both waved their hands repeatedly, seeming very resistant to Old Xu’s tea.

Mo Ling watched this scene, very puzzled.

“What’s wrong?”

Why won’t they drink it?

“If you won’t drink it, I will!” Mo Ling still couldn’t forget that special taste.

Old Xu also had an expression of incomprehension and began muttering again:

“You’re too focused on appearances. This is very disadvantageous in the Abyss. Sometimes you have to boldly experiment…”

While speaking, he picked up the small bottle on the table and poured it into the teapot.

Mo Ling stared blankly at that bottle as images began replaying in his mind.

He seemed to remember what was in that bottle.
