I'm Done Playing the Lovesick Supporting Role - Chapter 301.1
Heaven’s Reach reopened its servers after nearly a month of downtime, and players eagerly logged back in.
Upon logging in, every player received compensation items in their in-game mailbox. These rewards were especially enticing to early-stage players, helping to quell much of the online criticism.
Heaven’s Reach originally planned to launch its open beta and enable its in-game payment system last month. However, due to unforeseen issues, these plans were postponed by another half month.
In the past two weeks, no further problems had arisen. Even the NPC City Lord had been functioning perfectly, following his scripted storyline.
The game’s design was incredibly intricate, creating a slow-paced progression system that mirrored a genuine martial world.
While this authenticity drew praise, it also had its downsides: leveling up was excruciatingly slow.
Even after half a month, the highest-leveled player was only at Level 15, still within the beginner stage.
This led to widespread complaints online.
Post on a Gaming Forum:
“Anyone here playing Heaven’s Reach? Not only is the game pod ridiculously expensive, but leveling up takes forever. And with no payment system in place, we can’t even afford anything in the store!”
“As a dedicated pay-to-win player, this game is frustrating beyond belief. I die multiple times a day—so annoying!”
“If this weren’t the world’s only fully immersive game, I’d have quit ages ago!”
“You think that’s bad? The premium edition game pod costs over ten times the regular one, and the only extra perk is a single outfit choice at the start!”
“LOL…”
“Honestly, this company is just greedy, aren’t they?”
