Chapter 1: The Villainess’s Self-Rescue Method?

***

“The surveillance last showed her here.”

“Hurry up, if something happens to the young lady, we’re all done for.”

Clear voices came from downstairs.

In the room upstairs, a girl with snow-white hair was crouching by the window, quietly observing the movements outside.

The people downstairs were moving quickly, and there were obviously quite a few of them, beginning to search through this building.

The girl who had a serious expression just a moment ago suddenly showed a look of despair when she saw the girl sleeping peacefully on the bed beside her. She crouched against the wall, holding her head, with a completely helpless expression.

“So why did it still turn out like this?!”

Bai Ning didn’t know why, even though she had done so many things in advance, she still couldn’t escape this scene from happening.

She looked somewhat helplessly at the petite figure reflected in the mirror in the room.

Snow-white beautiful hair, translucent white skin that looked like it hadn’t been exercised in a long time, wearing a pure white dress, the whole person looked so white she was practically glowing.

“Is it really impossible to escape the identity of a villainess?”

She wasn’t from this world. Her transmigration was simple too, she didn’t get hit by a truck or cosplay as a speed bump on the highway. She simply went to sleep and transmigrated directly.

This was a novel world, and Bai Ning had been in this world for several months already.

Fortunately, this wasn’t one of those male protagonist harem novels, but a Feng Aotian yuri novel, basically writing about how Feng Aotian gets cheat abilities and wins the hearts of various female leads, that kind of cliche story.

If it were in the past, Bai Ning wouldn’t even glance at it, and she indeed hadn’t read much of it, only seeing the beginning before she transmigrated here.

But unfortunately, she wasn’t some Feng Aotian now. Combined with her young lady status, her willful and scheming personality, plus her loli-like physique, Bai Ning, who had read countless books, naturally knew her identity.

“Great, I’m a villainess. We’re screwed.”

After clarifying her identity, Bai Ning spent a long time gathering information from the outside world.

For example, whether there was some poor but beautiful school belle, or some young and cold company female CEO, or maybe some reclusive wealthy family’s daughter.

As a result of her investigation, these people actually existed, and there were even more than just these.

When she found out these people really existed, Bai Ning almost couldn’t catch her breath.

She didn’t know what identity Feng Aotian would have, didn’t even know the name, since she hadn’t read this book. She only knew some settings from the comment section, knew this book had a bad ending, so she also didn’t know the specific timing of plot events. However, she made a decision.

She was going to curry favor with those female leads.

By sucking up to the female leads, she would avoid her fate as a cannon fodder villainous supporting character.

The first target was naturally Nan Zha, who was also a young lady like her.

Originally everything was going well. Their relationship, if not intimate, was at least decent. After all, the originally cold female CEO Nan Zha was now willing to invite her to dinner.

Today was supposed to be Nan Zha inviting her out for dinner and chat. Bai Ning was excited when she came, thinking she finally had progress, that her plan to escape being a villainous supporting character finally had progress.

She was happily chatting with Nan Zha during dinner. Although she didn’t know why Nan Zha looked guilty, with a very sneaky appearance, she was too excited to take it seriously.

But for some reason, after finishing dinner, she felt dizzy. Before she collapsed, she seemed to see a smile appear on Nan Zha’s ice-cold face, and then she knew nothing more. When she woke up, it had become like this.

Now Nan Zha was lying on the bed behind her, and there were those bodyguards outside. No matter how you looked at it, she was doomed.

The plot would be: the people outside would come in, catch her, then the unconscious Nan Zha would wake up and become furious, saying she drugged and tried to kidnap her, directly sending her to prison.

The villainous supporting character got her deserved ending, the female lead was rescued, what a happy ending indeed.

What a completely screwed future (looking up at the ceiling).

Who was it? Who exactly was trying to harm her? It was just having dinner, how did eating turn into this situation?

Bai Ning shook her head, grabbed her hair, feeling somewhat frantic.

She had clearly changed herself after transmigrating here. To change her character setting, she did everything — pleasing the female leads, charity galas, changing her image — she did it all, yet in the end it still turned out like this.

Looking at the still sleeping girl, hearing the footsteps gradually approaching from outside, Bai Ning had no time to think about these things now and stood up in panic.

She absolutely couldn’t be caught. Although they were both wealthy young ladies, it obviously looked like she had drugged and knocked out Nan Zha. Moreover, she originally wasn’t on good terms with Nan Zha. If she was caught, she couldn’t explain herself at all.

After looking around, the room was very simple, like it was temporarily arranged. There weren’t many living supplies, just a bed and a wardrobe.

Biting her lip, cold sweat continuously flowing down her forehead, Bai Ning was somewhat at a loss for what to do.

“Bang bang bang!”

“Open the door quickly, the young lady is inside!”

“If it won’t open, just break it down!”

The loud knocking outside directly startled Bai Ning. Hearing the conversation outside, Bai Ning looked around frantically.

Then a flash of inspiration hit her mind.

Since she couldn’t escape anyway, might as well play something bold!

With a determined look in her eyes, Bai Ning frantically ran toward the bed. Without any hesitation, she dove straight into the covers, quickly pressing close to Nan Zha on the bed, her head also resting against the softness, listening to the rhythmic heartbeat.

She didn’t expect Nan Zha to be so well-endowed.

After adjusting her position, Bai Ning took a deep breath to calm herself down.

Smelling the gardenia-like fragrance in her nose.

The people outside seemed to be planning to break down the door after confirming.

“Bang!”

With a loud crash, the door was directly smashed open.

“Stop!”

“Are you alright, miss?”

Several people in black clothes charged in aggressively.

However, just after they pushed open the door and saw the scene inside clearly, they immediately froze in place.

The scene inside wasn’t what they had imagined, their young lady being bullied by someone else.

On the soft bed, under the white covers,

Bai Ning and Nan Zha, the two girls, were actually lying together.

Moreover, Bai Ning was deeply buried in Nan Zha’s embrace, showing an expression of enjoyment on her face, as if she was very much enjoying being held by a beautiful older sister.

“…Huh?”

Everyone present widened their eyes, mouths slightly open, with shocked expressions.

What? The intel was fake?

Wasn’t it said that Bai Ning and Nan Zha, these two young ladies, couldn’t stand each other?

Haven’t they been causing trouble for each other recently? Wasn’t today supposed to be Nan Zha causing trouble for Bai Ning? Wasn’t it said they were about to fight?

So this “fighting” meant fighting on the bed, huh?

Bai Ning felt like her heart was about to jump out of her chest. For someone who embarrassed easily like her, making her do this kind of thing in front of so many people was really too much for her.

Because of her panicked rush onto the bed earlier, the strap on Bai Ning’s shoulder had also slipped down, revealing her snow-white shoulder. She was now showing an expression of enjoyment, leaning in the big sister’s embrace.

She had just been showing an expression of enjoyment, but when she saw the group of standing bodyguards, Bai Ning’s expression first showed bewilderment, then became flushed with embarrassment and anger, her brows furrowing.

“What are you doing?! Who let you in?”

“This is trespassing! Did you get my permission?”

“All of you get out!!!”

She looked exactly like an angry little kitten. Although she was angry, her voice was extremely soft and sweet. With her small face scrunched up, she looked inexplicably cute.

“No, young…”

One of the bodyguards seemed to want to explain something, but before the words were finished,

Bai Ning’s attention shifted away from them.

Because she felt that Nan Zha beside her seemed to have moved, her eyes fluttering, gradually opening.

Perhaps having just woken up, not understanding what had happened, the girl’s eyes were full of clarity and confusion.
