Chapter 58: A Peaceful Holiday!?

The demons grow more aggressive.

“Allies are fine, but it’s better to leave this alone. These guys aren’t normal…”

The beastman voices concern for me.

But in this chaotic crowd, they’re not the enemy.

“I’ll give you five seconds. If you don’t leave by then…”

“What if we don’t?”

“5… 4… 3… 2…”

I start the countdown, but it’s clear this won’t end peacefully.

Indeed, by the time I reach “2,” the demons are already charging at me.

“Watch out!!”

The beastman shouts, but Arus hardly hears the sounds around him anymore.

With a roar, the man swings his sword upward.

But by then, Arus is already standing beside him.

And Arus’s hand is gripping the man’s face.

The bystanders and the prostrating beastmen alike are unable to comprehend what just happened.

A young man who swiftly subdued the rampaging demons, followed by the patrol guards kneeling before him as soon as they arrived.

Before anyone could realize the implications of the guards’ hurried obeisance to the young man, Arus departs from the scene and returns to Mel and Lorna.

“Shall we leave before any more commotion arises?”

“Arus… you were so cool.”

Afterward, they go shopping for Mel’s clothes, and as an unexpected turn of events, Mel and Lorna end up choosing Arus’s outfit as well, insisting that he should buy it. Mel selects a somewhat casual but still pricey and comfortable outfit suitable for the crown prince, while Lorna picks out a princely ensemble that screams ‘THE handsome crown prince!!’ Despite any personal preferences, Arus ends up purchasing both outfits, unable to ignore the sparkling eyes of the two.
