Chapter 48: Inherent Magic… Seriously?!
After experimenting with teleportation, I spent my time reading various magic books until everyone stopped marching to set up camp for a rest. So, with some free time, I decided to finally try out the inherent magic I had recently acquired.
First up is omniscience and omnipotence… What’s that? Like a god?
I was alone in the carriage, so I had no reservations.
Here we go!!
“Omniscience and Omnipotence”
Huh? What’s this…
If I had to compare it, it’s like a game screen from a previous life.
A map appears in the top right corner, and everything else is just like a game screen appearing before my eyes.
What’s this…
On the map, there’s a surrounding area and a little yellow star marker that seems to be our current location, with many small blue circles scattered around.
Wondering if my guess was correct, I stepped out of the carriage, and indeed, those blue dots were marking the locations of the soldiers.
Can it show where everyone is? That’s amazing.
When I focus on the map, it expands to show the entire continent, with a large screen display.
Near our current location, blue dots abound, white dots mark nearby cities, and there are red dots in our destination.
If I had to guess, white signifies neutrality.
Blue is for allies, which means red must be enemies.
This is really omniscience and omnipotence…
After getting a handle on the map and moving it back to the top right corner… Next, I was astonished when I looked at the soldiers.
Above the soldiers’ heads were displayed their names, levels, HP, and MP.
In games, it’s common, but in reality, isn’t this incredibly amazing?
Furthermore, in the item section, you could confirm the items stored in the item pouch as a table.
Incredible…
Moreover, with a little focus, you could even check the details of the surrounding vegetation and such, which would normally require checking the status.
It’s too versatile.
What surprised me the most was that the magic I had used before appeared as commands in the bottom right corner.
As if clicking on teleportation while imagining the destination, I focused on it and pressed… Then, my body floated up and teleported a few meters ahead.
Being able to turn magic into commands… It’s too convenient.
However, there was one command that I hesitated to try.
Its content could be understood from its name.
[Auto Battle]
Hey hey. Does this mean automatic battle without consciousness?
How dangerous is that command?
I’ll leave that alone.
In the bottom left corner, there was a chat box, similar to what you’d find in a typical game.
Huh? Can you talk to someone?
For now… I imagined saying “Hello.”
Then, the response came in the box: “Nice to meet you. I’ll answer any questions you have.”
Huh? Is this like something out of a sci-fi movie?
“Useful things among non-attribute magic…”
Well, isn’t that… impossible?
“Teleportation, time stop, and gravity magic are useful. Do you want detailed information?”
Huh? Seriously?
“I would like to receive information, except for Teleportation…”
“Time Stop magic consumes 10,000 MP per second to activate. Literally, during that time, everything except yourself stops. However, attacks on living beings cannot be performed during that time.
Gravity magic consumes 1,000 MP per second per 1G to impose gravity on the specified target [living beings, inanimate objects]. If the range is expanded to the surrounding area instead of specifying a target, an additional 1,000 MP per 1 square meter will be consumed.”
What a clear answer.
No, even this alone is amazing with Omniscience.
It’s too diverse.
Is this a compilation of all the good things? Truly worthy of a deity of creation… amazing. I respect you for the first time.
Anyway, I understood the details of Omniscience.
It’s too amazing! That’s the conclusion.
Seriously convenient… but since MP consumption is always involved when using it, it can’t be used continuously.
This is where it should be used.
Also, gravity and time stop… let’s remember them.
Wouldn’t it be too cheat-like if you could use them?
Teleportation, Gravity, and Time Stop… isn’t that the final boss?
Now then, next is the Bloodless Citadel…
“Hold on… can I ask about this too?”
I used Omniscience once again and asked a question.
“About Bloodless Citadel.”
“Bloodless Citadel is a magic that conjures a massive castle on the spot. It consumes MP when summoned, but there is no ongoing consumption for the existence of the castle. Additionally, when the magic is dispelled, the castle disappears from the spot. Upon dispelling, any living beings remaining inside the castle are forcibly expelled outside, but inanimate objects can be stored within the castle. The interior of the dispelled castle does not experience the passage of time, so it can also be used as an item pouch.
The term ‘bloodless’ means that all combat actions are prohibited within this castle. If one attempts to engage in combat despite this prohibition, they will be forcibly ejected from the castle.”
Hey hey… this is also an incredible spell, isn’t it?
Being able to summon a castle anytime you want, even while moving, isn’t that amazing?
If you summon it in front of the enemy’s camp, it’s practically an overnight fortress.
And combat is prohibited.
With this, you can sleep peacefully.
Alright, I’ll use this right away.
It’ll save us the trouble of setting up camp!
Once I realized that! I caught a nearby soldier and instructed him to summon Lieutenant Emilio and Lorna.
And then, after a while…
“What’s the matter, Your Highness?”
“Are you going somewhere again for some experiment?”
Emilio seemed a bit nervous for some reason, while Lorna looked at me with a face that seemed to say, “Here we go again.”
“I’ve become an apostle and gained new inherent magic spells. With that, there’s no need to worry about camping. So, stop preparing for camping and clear up some space for me.”
“What kind of new inherent magic is it?”
“Are you going to summon a large tent or something?”
Perplexed, I explained the outline of the Bloodless Citadel that I had just learned to the two of them.
“What!? That’s incredible! What kind of extraordinary magic is that…”
“Your Highness… you’ve truly transcended human limits…”
The two of them then split up and went to inform the soldiers about it.
And then, amidst the watchful gaze of ten thousand soldiers, I activated the magic.
“Bloodless Citadel.”
It was magnificent.
The fortress that suddenly appeared was not just a fortress, but clearly a formidable one, capable of defending a border adjacent to enemy territory.
“…!!”
“Your Highness… I’m exhausted from being constantly surprised.”
Emilio and Lorna stood behind me, their eyes wide open.
The soldiers were the same.
Anyway… I used amplification magic to address the soldiers.
“Now, my soldiers. You’ve heard, haven’t you? Combat actions are prohibited within this fortress. In other words, it’s definitely safe! So, take your time to rest for the future! Understood?”
“OOOOHHHH!!!!”
“All hail His Highness!!”
“Prince Crown!!”
“Apostle-sama!!!”
“Truly the work of a god.”
The soldiers, amazed yet with heightened morale, lifted their spirits.
Seeing that, I felt a slight sense of relief.
It’s good to have high morale.

Emilio trembled as he walked through the fortress conjured by His Highness, the Crown Prince.
“That person is truly remarkable. Experiencing firsthand what His Majesty mentioned, being able to annihilate 4000 people alone… and to construct such a large fortress in an instant with just magic, it’s no longer a legend. There’s no way we’ll lose if we follow that person. And…”
“If we anger him… there’s a possibility our kingdom might disappear…”
“Ah, yes. Let’s be even more cautious.”
Unaware of such discussions happening nearby, Arus, on the other hand, was inside the castle, having tea with Lorna…

“Hey… It’s been a while, hasn’t it, you two.”
In a secluded underground chamber, three figures faced each other.
Two of them wore masks, one black and one white, while the one speaking wore a hooded cloak pulled low over their face.
“Did you bring it like we agreed?”
“If you didn’t, we’ll kill you.”
“Yeah, yeah, I brought it! Look! Isn’t this it?”
Without a care in the world amidst the room filled with hostility, the person in the hood casually took out a black key and tossed it over to the one wearing the black mask.
“Is it the real deal?”
“Of course it is. This is our joint operation, isn’t it?”
“Hah! Easy for you to say…”
“Well, I came to deliver this for now, but more importantly, I think that Crown Prince is quite dangerous. I only caught a glimpse, but he was truly… a monster. Let’s move cautiously to avoid arousing suspicion, alright?”
“I understand. And if we do come face to face… I’ll definitely kill him with my own hands.”
“Oh, scary stuff. I’ll be looking forward to it.”
With those words, the hooded figure disappeared from the spot, as if vanishing into thin air.
