Chapter 3: The Bear From The New World Was Stronger Than Expected

The following day, as I camped near the spot where the rabbit had been, I decided to venture even further.

When I did that, another monster appeared.

A ferocious bear with a body well beyond 3 meters, with a formidable horn on its forehead—about a meter in length, thick, and rigid.

Oh, this one is seriously a dangerous monster.

Suddenly, one leaped from the right with tremendous speed… hastily caught it with telekinesis and sent it flying towards the other Wild Bears.

The thrown bear and the one caught in the impact were sent flying together… but it wasn’t a fatal blow… or so I suppose.

Come to think of it, there’s no attack that can deal a fatal blow…

Telekinesis can halt their movements or throw them, but that’s about it.

Isn’t there something…

Meanwhile, that particularly large bear, the leader of the pack, charged at incredible speed despite its massive size and swung its arm sideways, aiming to stab into my side.

Ouchhhhhhhh!!!… I thought for an instant, but despite being strongly blown away and crushing trees one after another, I didn’t receive that much damage.

Thanks to colliding with the trees, I somehow managed to slow it down and eventually came to a stop after plowing through about a dozen of them.

For the next several minutes, I continued using telekinesis to throw them away or lift and drop them, but the number of enemies didn’t decrease.

This is not working at all… Aren’t they going to give up soon?
Certainly, their attacks don’t inflict much damage, but continually enduring them is causing gradual bleeding and pain.

This is bad as it is… I’ll eventually die…Is there anything I can do?

It’s tough having only telekinesis as my trump card.

The Wild Bear, which was charging towards me with great momentum, slammed forcefully onto the ground due to the combined effect of its own speed and the impact of the Qigong…

Wow, Qigong is truly amazing!!

With unwavering determination, as if asserting that my body could endure the strain of excessive Qigong use, I kept firing Qigong indiscriminately at the Wild Bears.

A massive figure stood before me. It was the leader of the pack—the Wild Bear.

Taking a moment to compose myself as the charging Wild Bear threatened to overwhelm me, I channel all the qi in my body into my right fist.

With all my strength, I swing it towards its forehead.

A tremendous roar and the impact sent me flying… a cloud of dust formed, and I couldn’t see the Wild Bear’s condition.

Yet, I’ve come to realize that Qigong may not be useful for this if that blow didn’t finish it off…

It was quite a strong blow.

I look for it as the dust from the blown-away location gradually clears…

The big bear gets back on its feet…

Darn it, it’s over…

“Gaaaaahhhhh!!!”

The big bear unleashes a tremendous roar…

Just when I thought that, the big bear’s body sways for a moment, and then it collapses on the spot.

Phew, I thought I was going to die…

That was scary…
