Chapter 15: Cosmic Infinity Teleportation Formation

Inside the Sect Master’s Hall, the Tower Guardian Elder, enduring excruciating pain from the Demonic Pill’s injuries, reported the full situation.

The Soul-Suppressing Spirit Mirror, a magical artifact passed down for millennia, was linked to the soul fire of every demonic beast within the Demon Sealing Pagoda.

The mirror had shattered.

This meant that, in an instant, an incomprehensible force had completely extinguished all the soul fires within the pagoda!

“D-Demon…”

A deranged voice echoed from a corner.

It was Chief He Tian of the Hall of Law Enforcement.

His Dao Foundation had been utterly destroyed, and he had been relegated to a corner of the hall. Yet now he struggled to sit up.

His hair was disheveled, his eyes hollow, and a trail of drool dripped from the corner of his mouth.

Pointing toward the Demon Sealing Pagoda, he repeated those two words over and over.

“Demon… He’s the true demon…”

“Demon! Demon! Demon! Hahahaha!”

He Tian’s laughter pierced the air, sharp and grating, filling the entire hall.

Once, everyone had believed him mad.

Now, his ravings had become the most lucid truth, a brutal slap across every face.

The Third Elder’s lips trembled. He dared not look at He Tian, nor at the unconscious Tower Guardian Elder.

Instead, he turned his gaze to the Evergreen Treasure Tree at the center of the hall.

He desperately wished this were just a nightmare.

Then, he saw it.

Crack.

A soft sound.

On the topmost branch of the Treasure Tree, now stripped of half its leaves, a single emerald leaf appeared, a sliver of inky blackness creeping along its edge like a drop of concentrated ink diffusing into clear water.

It paused neither for a moment nor for deliberation.

With unstoppable force, it ravenously devoured all traces of verdant life.

In the blink of an eye, the entire leaf had transformed into pure, ominous blackness, a symbol of death itself.

It withered, curled inward, and finally, under the stunned gaze of the Azure Cloud Sect’s seven highest-ranking members, disintegrated into a handful of black ash that drifted away.

“No…”

A dreamlike groan escaped the Third Elder’s throat as his legs buckled, collapsing to the ground first.

His moan seemed to trigger a chain reaction.

Crack!

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The second leaf, the third, the tenth!

The terrifying blackness surged across the remaining half of the Evergreen Treasure Tree.

Leaf after leaf, each representing the Sect’s Fortune, disintegrated into ash in rapid succession.

In less than ten breaths.

The once-vibrant Treasure Tree had withered completely.

Its bare branches, lifeless and still.

Inside the Sect Master’s Hall.

Yun Lan stared at the dead Treasure Tree, his body swaying.

His face drained of all color.

He finally understood everything.

The Demon Sealing Pagoda, built atop the Spirit Vein’s nexus, was meant to suppress the malevolent energy rising from below.

Fang Zheng, that monster.

He’s… devouring the Spirit Vein Heart!

He’s destroying the entire Azure Cloud Sect from its very foundation!

“Hurry! We must find a way to stop him!” The Third Elder scrambled to his feet, his voice cracking with urgency as he paced frantically. “If this continues for another three days, our sect’s ten-thousand-year legacy will be reduced to demon-tainted earth!”

“How can we stop him?”

The hot-tempered Fourth Elder slammed his fist against the Coiling Dragon Golden Pillar beside him.

Bang!

The pillar shuddered, but the Fourth Elder’s hand was left bleeding profusely.

Ignoring the pain, his eyes bloodshot, he roared:

“Who should we send? You? Or those blood-vomiting wrecks still lying in the mud? Who can withstand even one strike from him?! Who dares to go?!”

His question struck like a hammer blow against everyone’s hearts.

The Sect Master’s Hall fell into deathly silence once more.

Humiliation.

Rage.

In the end, only boundless despair remained.

These Golden Core and Nascent Soul stage great cultivators—the highest authorities of the Azure Cloud Sect—had become utter jokes in the face of that monster.

It wasn’t that they didn’t want to kill Fang Zheng.

It was utterly, fundamentally impossible.

Despair washed over Yun Lan like a tidal wave.

He closed his eyes, his body slumping weakly against the back of his chair.

Just as his Dao Heart was on the verge of collapse, a thought surged wildly from the depths of his mind:

A forbidden record from the Sect’s Classic Texts, one classified as the highest taboo:

The Cosmic Infinity Teleportation Formation.

This formation lay at the deepest level of the Demon Sealing Pagoda, fused into its very structure, the final measure left behind by the Founding Ancestor.

It had only one purpose:

To randomly banish any unmanageable target within the pagoda to the most treacherous forbidden zones on the Profound Heaven Continent.

This was a scorched-earth strategy.

Activating the formation would permanently damage the Spirit Vein, setting the Sect’s Fortune back a thousand years.

But now, they had no choice.

If they didn’t act, the problem wouldn’t be a mere thousand-year setback, but the Sect’s complete annihilation!

Yun Lan’s eyes snapped open, his pupils burning with resolve and agony.

From his robe, he retrieved a rust-covered Bronze Tiger Tally—the sole token required to activate the great formation.

“Transmit my command!”

His voice was hoarse, yet it carried an irrefutable authority.

“Activate the sealed Formation!”

“Prepare…”

Yun Lan paused, forcing the final three words through clenched teeth.

“…Exile the plague god!”

Before the last word left his lips, he crushed the Bronze Tiger Tally with all his might!

An imperceptible command, invisible to mortal eyes, pierced through space, bypassed countless barriers, and reached the deepest depths of the Demon Sealing Pagoda.

A Formation dormant for ten thousand years began to awaken.

Yun Lan’s voice echoed through the vast hall, carrying a trace of liberation mixed with madness.

“…Target: Northern Ice Plains, the heart of the Hundred Thousand Beast Nests!”

Meanwhile, ten thousand miles away…

The sacred land of the Demonic Path, the Ten Thousand Demons Hall.

Within the dimly lit hall, dozens of eerie green soul fires flickered, casting grotesque shadows that danced across the demon-carved walls.

Holy Maiden Yun Shuishui, clad in a black robe, stood alone before a massive Water Mirror. Reflected within its shimmering surface was the scene unfolding at the Azure Cloud Sect’s mountain gate.

The jet-black Demonic Energy that pierced the heavens—pure, ancient, and radiating an overwhelming dominance that crushed all beneath it—held her spellbound.

Especially when the Evergreen Treasure Tree, the symbol of the Azure Cloud Sect’s ten-thousand-year fortune, withered before her eyes under the relentless assault of Demonic Energy, turning to ash at an alarming rate, her pale hand clenched involuntarily.

“Holy Maiden, this…”

Behind her, a hunched black-robed Elder spoke in a dry, rasping voice.

“Such Demonic Might is unheard of. Striking directly at the heart of their fortune in a single move, destroying the very foundation of their Sect. This person’s actions are far too… brazen and domineering.”

“Domineering?”

Yun Shuishui didn’t turn around, but her voice trembled with barely suppressed excitement.

It wasn’t fear, but overwhelming exhilaration.

“Elder You, you’re mistaken.”

“This isn’t domination; it’s a declaration.”

Yun Shuishui extended a slender finger and gently tapped the Water Mirror, pointing to the almost-dead Treasure Tree.

“The Demon Sovereign is telling us—and all the hypocritical righteous sects in the world—that in his eyes, these so-called ten-thousand-year Sects are nothing more than clay chickens and pottery dogs, easily crushed with a flick of his finger.”

She slowly turned, her peerlessly beautiful face devoid of even the slightest smile, radiating only a divine fervor.

“For ten thousand years, we of the Demonic Path have lain dormant, enduring endless humiliation. For what purpose?”

“We have awaited just such a supreme master—one who scorns scheming and disdains pretense, one who revels in unbridled power and whose absolute might can sweep away all obstacles!”

Her words struck the hearts of every Demonic Cultivator in the hall like a thunderous hammer blow.

In an instant, the entire assembly understood, their eyes burning with fanatical zeal.

Yun Shuishui took a deep breath, her voice suddenly soaring, reverberating throughout the hall.

“Issue my sacred decree!”

“All Demon Monarchs, immediately end your seclusion and assemble before the hall to receive orders!”

“All disciples, prepare your magical artifacts and inventory your Medicine Pills!”

She paused, an unprecedented brilliance erupting in her eyes, and declared each word with unwavering resolve:

“We march on Azure Cloud Sect to humbly seek our lord’s guidance!”
