After I exterminated the pests and went back inside the guild house, Napping-san had also returned but something was different about her… Aah, she didn’t have her weapon with her when she was waving her hand to welcome me back. It’s unusual to see Napping-san without both her gauntlets on.

Found ’em. I’m glad I identified someone who could use [★Jaw Of The Slaughterer] , the orca hand puppet. Now she’s a soft fluffy destroyer… though, it’s abilities weren’t soft nor fluffy at all. Pers-chan said she didn’t want to sell it because she didn’t want to reveal the existence of this weapon to the public and if a guild member… or in this case, a guild master could use it, then I should hand it over.

Thus, the Slaughter Taily Whaley hand puppet was given over to Napping-san and in exchange she would keep our classes confidential information. I think she realizes that it’s a class related to Babylon-chan but has no idea I’m actually a necromancer. She probably thought somewhere along the lines of me being a Dark Tamer or like, maybe I had a class that could tame animals as well as humans. I’m pretty sure she had a slight suspicion that Aurelia-chan wasn’t simply a follower I gained from a quest too..

More importantly, Napping-san told me about the functions of the guild even if it was a little late for that. Apparently, establishing a guild required you to spend money on various things and have fame so it was really troublesome but the facilities that it provides can make up for it.

– You can create a guild if you obtain approval from the feudal lord that governs the town. (Fame is needed to convince the feudal lord)

– If you purchase a guild house, that guild house will serve as a safety zone for your guild members.

– Guild members can directly return to the guild house through the available use of the [Guild Portal] which outsiders cannot enter.

– A storage that can be freely withdrawn from will be installed inside the guild where you can store anything aside from untradeable items.

– The experience you could gain from the guild spars is capped at a total of 30,000,000 EXP. (Approximately takes you to level 25)

– The member’s individual rooms in the guild house can be locked and used as private areas

– Once you expand the guild house, you’ll be able to set up facilities such as the Equipment Enhancing Device, Metal Processing Machine, Kitchen, Loom, Pharmaceutical Machine, and Alchemy Cauldron which members of the guild could freely use.

(All of them were unlocked) (Magic Crystals were needed to start them up)

“That explains why Donta’s level went up a bit.”

So that’s how it is, there were a lot of merits in having a guild. Now I know why Donta’s level went up from yesterday and that there was a way to immediately raise your level right after reincarnating. I see. While a ruckus was being made in the lobby, let’s review what we needed for [Animate – Fetish] in the meantime. First was a [Base] which is an equipment that will serve as a foundation. I believe it’ll get enchanted through this process but since I’ve only used a broom, I’m not exactly too sure.

Next was a [Corpse] . It looks like I can just field one that’s pulled out of the Morgue so this time I decided that we’ll be using the ☆2 Insquidious on the Diamond Earrings and Slaughter Taily Whaley on the Sapphire Earrings. The reason behind these choices? There wasn’t one in particular, really.

Lastly, we needed a [Cursed Item] . I don’t know if this just accepts anything or what but since we had a surplus of Cursed Coins, we’ll make use of those as normal.

Napping-san got pummeled a whole lot, I fumbled with the Sapphire Earrings and now Aurelia-chan’s physical damage was non-existent. Ahhh… wait, hold on. Isn’t this actually fine since it would be dumb to expect Aurelia-chan to use physical attacks anyways? But then again… nhn…! ghhh….!!! Well, it is pretty broken in terms of strength, ngh….!!!

A tattered Napping-san was sprawled across the floor covered in wounds.
Baldy-san stood there imposingly, arms crossed, with a stiff smile on his face.
Aurelia-chan seemed happy for some reason… and was lightly gliding around on her broom.

Don-chan was slobbering all over a chicken jerky and from his expression, you could tell he wasn’t going to stop any time soon… bad doggy…

And finally, Rinne-san looked crestfallen as she clung onto the giant Slaughterer plushie… which was pretty much how she would always act if she messed something up…

A witch girl who’s taken a liking to her new equipment’s effects and there’s your partner, who apparently broke something and handed a piece of equipment over without reviewing its effects…”

Seems like she broke something. I wonder if it was an enhancement… and she didn’t use a safe enhancement ticket…?
