This Slaughter Taily Whaley was supposed to be a formidable enemy but…it died pitifully from the curse’s DoT… At any rate, it looks like Morgue automatically stores strong enemies as long as there’s enough space and that was a relief since it reminded me that I had forgotten to harvest its corpse back then. Which means… I didn’t have this skill when we were going up against the Stone Armor King Slime. If Donta and Aurelia-chan were to fall then and there, I would’ve really been in trouble. Man, good thing we managed.

“…Uwaah”

“What’s wrong?”

“Well, I kind of stuck Slaughter Taily Whaley in my Morgue.”

“It went in!?”

“It did but…”

Only… I can’t use Undead Creation on it. A warning message appears stating:

“Due to its extremely powerful existence, it is highly likely that it will not fall under your control.”

It’s level was close to almost twice as high as mine after all… Can’t really argue with that…

“If I reanimate it with Undead Creation, it’ll probably run wild.”

“My! I didn’t know they could run rampant after getting brought back.”

“I wanted to frolic around with it though…”

“Who knows, you might be able to once you get your level up.”

“In any case, it’d be a waste to keep an empty slot anyways so I’ll try using it again some time later.”

I wanted to make Slaughter Taily Whaley one of my comrades… The sound an orca makes is surprisingly cute since it’s high-pitched. It was originally named Slaughterer but it had quite the adorable appearance. Yeah, that’s too bad… Oh right, I got a drop called [Slaughterer Plushie] ! Let’s settle for a compromise and turn our affection towards the plushie instead!

“Well then, I’m gonna open up a portal to the guild house!”

“Let’s head back!”

“Woof woof! (Hungry!)”

“Hawah… Once my tension went away, I got hungry too…”

“We got a bunch of seafood items so if Baldy-san’s home, let’s get him to make something!”

“Woof! (The person who cooks! Smooth and shiny!)”

“Waah! That sounds delicious!”

Let’s return to the guild house and if Baldy’s there, have him cook up something for us… Uwaa, it’s already 10pm! 3 hours have already passed since Pers-chan logged in!? That was fast, way too fast… Whenever I eat meals around this hour, it always tastes like I’m committing a sin!

◆ The usual happenings in the Guild House [Room 3]

Baldy-san was AFK when we had gotten back so we decided to have an appraisal convention. These were the items that we looted from the treasure chest on the 3rd floor. The [Mermaid Dress] was unique, the rarest out of what we got. This increases the attack power of water magic by 1.1x so I decided to equip it on Aurelia-chan.

[Sharkskin Armor] was a rare. Despite the name, it didn’t have any special effects. Therefore, I designated it to a list of items that would be sold.

Of course, we’re giving [Chef Of The Sea – Volume 1] to Baldy-san and that concludes the first half of the items.

“Now, onto the second half!”

“The loot from the 4th floor’s chest!”

Baldy-san was also blessed with the second volume. Another Chef Of The Sea book came out so that’s going over to Baldy-san. Then there’s this staff… Yep…!! These are fishbones, no matter how you look at it, these were the bones of a giant fish! It had its head and tail intact as well as crossed-out eyes like it’s been chibified, which made it look really cute!

[Pearl Necklace] , let’s see.. [MND] +1. Wait, that’s it…!? Due to the fact that it wouldn’t amount to much in price and because Aurelia-chan didn’t have anything equipped in that slot, I put it on her for now since I could… Yeah, this second half of the loot kind of blows.

It’s unfortunate that the Harpoon was a common spear but we hit the jack-pot with [★ Jaw Of The Slaughterer] ! It looked to be a claw-type melee weapon that was equipable on the right hand. As for the plushie, I could tell what it was even without appraising because of the icon… but if it’s this big, it had to be around… 5 meters!? That’s huge! It’s gonna take up all the space in here…! Also, this overwhelmingly chibi-fied depiction of it was super cute… I want one in real life… on second thought, only if it was smaller.

I snuck up behind Baldy-san when he got back from being AFK, plopped it on his head and I was convinced this was it. No other person was more compatible with this thing!! There’s no better fit!!!

“Ghpf… ahahahah!!! oh man, the way it sometimes moves is just too much!!!”

“Rinne-chan, was this a drop? This is actually amazing”

Napping-san, Reiji-san (Logged in early), Eris-san, Pers-chan and I all burst into laughter. Eventually the guild members that overheard our conversation gathered and by the end of it, we decided to take a commemorative photo since we had 20 people in hysterics. It was also great how the Insquidious posed with two of its arms up. Let’s just have him keep it as a gift.

“When we got on Donta and ran through the dungeon, we got a penalty for traveling too fast… It dropped after we defeated a monster named Slaughterer.”

A majority of them were in favor of it, that’s good to hear. Let’s leave the Slaughterer Plushie here then. If we line it up next to Donta, you can see how completely overwhelming it is… It really takes away the empty feeling in this spacious lobby.

I had ☆3 Magic Crystals but I’ve never even seen a mithril ingot before, let alone be in contact with one, and what’s an item of proof? I could’ve sworn I remember seeing something like that though…

For some reason, everybody kept throwing things my way and I almost had everything I needed… E-ehh… can I really have all this…? Ah, come to think of it, I haven’t gotten the name of the person that went over to the metal processing machine yet. She had this incredibly gloomy aura to her which I could sympathize with and the dark-blue gothic-lolita dress she had on really suited her…

Aah, so she’s the person that created the opportunity for me to beat up an angel with no questions asked…! I probably would’ve eventually struck it anyway since I couldn’t have possibly held back but this definitely accelerated the timing of it, no doubt about that.

There’s quite a bit of people using real modules… but I do somewhat recall Pers-chan telling me that real modules allow for better movement. Since the synchronization is fast, you can do things like dodging as soon as you think about it and that one moment is huge in PvP so I wonder if everyone’s into PvP.

Renachan-senpai sent me a friend request…! This is my first friend besides Pers-chan… Can I really accept this? But I do feel like we’re on the same wavelength so I guess it’s okay…

I just remembered this was for Donta’s evolution! Wait, we don’t have any proof items… ah!! The last thing that dropped from the Slaughter Whaley Taily was the Proof Of King! So I can evolve him then. Let’s see, it looks like there’s… 3 evolution paths.

[Metal Warg] (Non-attribute – Beast – Large)

– A warg whose fur has turned extremely steely. It loses its undead attribute in exchange for…

Ah, I didn’t get to read this until the end but rejected… Donta’s worthless without his fluffiness.

[Warg] (Undead – Demon – Extra-large)

– A standard path from the Lesser – Warg. All of its abilities are largely increased.

– The size of its body becomes one size bigger, and its tough body can not be harmed by normal attacks.

– Its claws and fangs are hardened with mithril, allowing it to easily tear through iron armor.

Oooh… You can get a size larger, Donta…? Maybe I should go with this one? Let’s at least have a look at the last one though.

[Champion Warg] (Undead – Demon – Large)

– A deviation path from the Lesser – Warg. All of its abilities are extremely increased.

– Although it doesn’t grow any bigger, its body becomes leaner, gains much more distinct intellect and it grows closer to the Warg King.

– Its claws and fangs are hardened with mithril, allowing it to easily tear through mithril armor.

– Learns martial arts skills.

This is the one! Champion – Warg! This is obviously way better than the regular Warg! I doubt anyone would pick the standard Warg after seeing this! Donta’s becoming a Champion – Warg! It’s decided!

He didn’t get smarter at all. So it is a bug then. But wait, what if his distinct intellect was like at level 1 and it just went up to 2? I mean, going from 1 to 2 is pretty much double! Maybe this is the standard intelligence for Wargs, yeah, that has to be it…

“You want me to pat your stomach… there there, hmm… this is just a big dog…”

It grows closer to the Warg King? (Yeah right, lol).
