It was the first time Shen Lian had heard the term “Perfection” from someone else. He had always thought it was a unique feature of his system, but now it seemed this realm also once had such a concept.

The little girl mumbled to herself, seemingly not too interested in delving further into the topic. She then shifted the conversation and said, “Even though you’ve reached Perfection in Qi Refinement, and even gone beyond it, making your foundation exceptionally solid, your innate talent… tsk, tsk…”

She shook her head, wearing an expression of deep pity.

“If there’s no external intervention, you probably won’t achieve Foundation Establishment in this lifetime.”

“Although there are treasures in this blessed land that can enhance one’s innate talent, I can’t give them to you—that would be cheating.”

“Sigh, what should I do?”

“If you can’t further advance your cultivation, I’ll have to wait for another inheritor, which is really troublesome.”

The little girl frowned, seemingly lost in her thoughts, muttering to herself for a while. Suddenly, her eyes brightened, and she whispered, “Hmm… giving you these things shouldn’t count as cheating, right?”

Though she seemed conflicted, the little girl wasted no time and tossed something else to Shen Lian.

Shen Lian instinctively caught it and found it to be a small, exquisite jade bottle, no larger than his thumb. Upon opening the stopper, he peeked inside and couldn’t help but reveal a look of surprise.

“This is a Foundation Establishment Pill?”

“Take it. With this, breaking through to Foundation Establishment shouldn’t be difficult, but your future progress will depend entirely on you,” the little girl said sternly.

“Yes, I understand. Thank you, Lady Fox Immortal,” Shen Lian replied excitedly, quickly storing the Foundation Establishment Pill in his storage ring. He had originally planned to buy one at the Spirit Treasure Pavilion later, but this had saved him a large amount of spirit stones.

As Shen Lian considered his next move, he had a good idea of the little girl’s nature—likely something akin to a spirit bound to the formation. She could control much of the blessed land’s restrictions but was not its true master and had to follow certain rules.

With that in mind, Shen Lian cautiously asked, “Lady Fox Immortal, if I could borrow some content from cultivation techniques, I could grow stronger much faster.”

“Of course, rest assured, I won’t take the techniques away. I just need to view and comprehend them.”

Shen Lian speculated that as a potential inheritor, he could reasonably request something that wasn’t too excessive. He expected her to comply easily, thinking he could instantly gain a large number of skill points.

However, to his surprise, the little girl rejected his request without hesitation.

“No way!” she said firmly, “The cultivation manuals in the blessed land are part of the inheritance treasures. If you want to study them, you’ll have to pass the trials and become the true inheritor.”

“Uh…” Shen Lian was momentarily speechless and reluctantly nodded.

Unwilling to give up so easily, he continued, “Then… Lady Fox Immortal, could you throw me some of that trash?”

“You mentioned you toss out a lot of junk every time the blessed land opens, right?”

“Hehe, you might think those things are worthless, but I don’t mind. Just throw them my way; the more, the better. I’ll take as much as you can give.”

Shen Lian looked at her with hopeful eyes.

The little girl stared back at him, her lips curling into an amused smile. After a long pause, she finally waved her hand and said slyly, “Though they’re garbage to me, that’s only in the context of the blessed land. As for what you can get from them, it’s up to your own strength and luck to fight for it.”

“Anyway, enough about that. There’s something important I need to tell you,” she continued, her tone turning serious. “Inside the storage ring I gave you, there’s a token. It’s the key to the Qinghuan Blessed Land and contains a hidden mark.”

“Once you reach Foundation Establishment and gain spiritual sense, you can communicate with the mark and activate it, allowing you to transport yourself into the blessed land.”

“But be warned, never attempt the transmission until you’re at least at the Nascent Soul stage. Entering prematurely means you’ll face the inheritance trial, and without sufficient strength, you’ll die instantly.”

“That trial was set up by my master during their lifetime, and even I can’t alter it. My only duty is to find the inheritor and provide them with the token. Beyond that, the trials are yours to face. Do you understand?”

“I understand.” Shen Lian’s expression grew serious as he nodded solemnly. He now had a clearer grasp of the situation, understanding the true secrets of the Qinghuan Blessed Land.

After a moment of reflection, Shen Lian asked, “Lady Fox Immortal, how many have received the token and qualified to take the trial?”

“Just you,” she said with a sigh. “That’s why I’m worried about you dying.”

“And you need to keep this confidential. Don’t tell anyone about this when you leave.”

“Yes.” Shen Lian nodded. Even without her reminder, he had no intention of sharing this with anyone. This was an enormous opportunity; once his strength was sufficient, he could claim the entire Qinghuan Blessed Land.

From the little girl’s words, it was clear that the true treasures of the blessed land had never been discovered by outsiders—not even by the ancestors of the Azure Cloud Sect or Thunder Valley. If they had, the secret would have been revealed long ago.

“Huh?” The little girl’s ears perked up suddenly. “The little guys who came this time seem lucky; they’ve already found the junkyard I set up.”

“Oh, they’re fighting now. Interesting…” she said with an amused grin.

“Cough, cough…” Shen Lian, unsure of what she meant, awkwardly cleared his throat.

The little girl seemed to remember his presence, smiled, and waved her hand. A giant screen appeared before them, projecting an image.

Shen Lian looked up and saw two groups facing off against each other, with some already engaged in fierce combat.

“That’s Senior Brother Yun Xiong! The opponents are Thunder Valley disciples, and they’re strong—at the peak of Qi Refinement stage. That must be their leader for this round,” Shen Lian observed. “Wait, is that Lu E? What’s that bastard doing standing on the sidelines?”

As Shen Lian watched closely, he noticed Lu E among the crowd, but instead of joining the battle, Lu E stood aside with a cold expression, his gaze occasionally drifting elsewhere.

“That place… Holy crap, that’s a ton of flying swords!”

“Lady Fox Immortal, is that what you call the junkyard?”

The little girl giggled and nodded. “That’s right! What, are you tempted? Want to go grab a few? Should I send you over?”

Shen Lian glanced back at the screen. In the center of the crowd was a restricted area filled with more than ten gleaming flying swords, making his eyes burn with desire.

Swallowing hard, Shen Lian muttered, “Well… it’s not like I’m interested in those scraps, but as the junior, I should help my senior brother when he’s fighting.”

“Hehe, sure, you’ve got a lot of excuses. I’ll send you over…”

The little girl laughed playfully, raising her hand. A familiar oppressive force enveloped Shen Lian, pinning him down as the teleportation began again.

“Lady Fox Immortal, send me to a spot a little farther away. I don’t want anyone to notice,” Shen Lian hurriedly requested as he felt the transfer initiate.

“I know, I know. You’ve got a sneaky mind, little one,” she replied lightly. With a wave of her hand, Shen Lian’s figure vanished from sight.
