The next morning, when she woke up in Xi Yu’s arms, Shi Qi had already reverted to his cuddly dog form, sitting outside waiting to be fed.

“Why are you up so early? The first thing you do is check on the dog instead of me.”

As she got out of the car and waved goodbye to Xi Yu, watching him drive away, she turned around and locked eyes with Shen Yi, who was standing not too far away.

But there was no sign of Shen Yi, he was already gone.
