The next morning, there was supposed to be a class with Shen Yi, but unexpectedly, he didn’t show up and had another teacher take over.
Jiang Zhi was in a foul mood because of this and sent him several messages, calling him “Master” multiple times, but there was no reply.
After class, she was distracted as she headed to the office to submit some materials, her mind preoccupied with the fact that Shen Yi seemed to be avoiding her. As she turned a corner on the stairs, she unexpectedly ran straight into the very person she had been thinking about.
“You’re in school?” she looked at him with surprise.
Shen Yi’s expression darkened, and he immediately tried to walk past her without saying a word.
Forgetting any shyness, Jiang Zhi grabbed his arm. “Why did you have someone else substitute for you? Why didn’t you reply to my messages?”
Shen Yi remained silent, slowly prying her hand off, clearly not intending to give any explanation.
The more Jiang Zhi thought about it, the more aggrieved she became, her eyes turning red. She clung to his arm even tighter unwilling to let go, her voice weak and trembling with emotion. “Master… Master… Why won’t you talk to me? Did I do something wrong?”
The bold address startled Shen Yi, and he immediately glanced around, worried that someone might overhear their conversation.
“It’s just the two of us, no one else is here, Master… Please, don’t avoid me.”
She continued to plead, leaning into him, genuinely needing his embrace to soothe the grievance she felt.
“Enough!”
Fearing he would lose control if he stayed another moment, he pushed her away forcefully and distanced himself from her.
As a result, Jiang Zhi was shoved down onto the steps by him, nearly falling down the staircase.
“Don’t try to provoke me again.”
Holding back the urge to help her up and kiss her, he turned and walked away.
Her papers were scattered all over the floor and she held her back tears as she picked them up one by one, sorting them out, and then continued to the office.
Emotionally drained, she dropped off the documents in the office and quickly left, barely able to hold back her tears in front of others.
In the hallway, she happened to look up and saw Shen Yi still walking down a small path within her line of sight.
A strange sense of determination to win rose within her.
She wouldn’t accept this kind of rejection.
At that moment, the voice in her head spoke up.
System: “Don’t be disheartened, Miss Jiang Zhi. Shen Yi’s sexual interest level in you is actually as high as 95%.”
“Where is he going now?” she asked angrily.
System: “Mr. Shen Yi is heading home.”
“Fine, I will take him down even if I knock him out today.”.”
She ran all the way to catch up to him, slowing down only when she was about twenty meters away, keeping pace with him as she discreetly followed.
Shen Yi lived in an apartment complex near the school. When they reached the entrance, just before the elevator doors closed, she rushed in and pressed him against the wall.
“Master, don’t avoid me,” she said pitifully.
“What are you—” He was at a loss for words. They arrived at his floor, and Jiang Zhi let go of him, waiting for him to exit.
As he was about to close the elevator door and go back down, she saw through his intentions and stated once more, “Master, don’t avoid me.”
With that, she pulled down her wristbands, revealing the marks left by the belt, and showed them to him.
“Master, look. I’m shameless. Since you didn’t tie me up, I had to do it myself.”
She felt a pang of guilt towards Cheng Huai, but she had no other choice now.
Her tactic worked. Shen Yi’s gaze was indeed locked on her wrists, his jaw clenched so tightly that the veins in his neck bulged, his eyes bloodshot, and he gripped the elevator rail so hard that his knuckles turned white.
Noticing his reaction, she leaned in closer, seducing him. “Master, do you really not want Zhi Zhi?”
That was the final straw. Shen Yi trembled as he raised his hand and gently brushed over her wrist, but after only a few seconds of tenderness, he suddenly gripped the red and swollen area with force.
His movements from exiting the elevator to unlocking his door were very smooth and swift.
Unfortunately, she didn’t have a chance to see what his home looked like before he threw her into a completely dark room.
