Chapter 90: Viewing Room 20 (Including 32.8k Nutrient Solution Bonus)

Fyodor remained quietly watching the large screen throughout.

Unlike the others, Fyodor didn’t take Gogol’s irresponsible remarks seriously.

After all, if Gogol truly thought that way, he would have already had countless encounters with strangers. In Fyodor’s view, Gogol was just being stubborn at this moment.

Would the Gogol from another world realize his feelings for Yunxi because of today’s events? And if he did realize, would Gogol then want to kill Yunxi?

[Returning to the hideout, Gogol wanted to directly question Yunxi.

Then, Yunxi kept stuffing him with one french fry after another.

After finishing the fries came cherry tomatoes, then chicken nuggets…]

Fyodor, who waited forever without getting to the important part: .

Yosano muttered quietly: This feels so familiar.

Gogol had been feeding walnuts to Yunxi like this before!

With how similar these two were in private, they might as well be a couple!

[Finally, Gogol suddenly snapped back to reality and asked the question he had almost forgotten: Little Yunxi, why do I feel uncomfortable when you’re with those people? Can you tell me why?]

Nakahara Chuuya, who had just been cursing Gogol: ?

Wait.

The clown genuinely didn’t know anything?!

After realizing this, Nakahara Chuuya looked at Gogol with much more equanimity.

He even thought this might be better for Gogol – at least it showed he had no similar experiences… Wait.

Why was Yunxi moving closer on her own?!

[Gogol was initially stunned by Yunxi’s statement Because you like me,but when he saw what was happening before him, his surprise turned to amusement.

Who just opens their mouth and does nothing else during a kiss?]

Nakahara Chuuya’s fists clenched again.

What else could it be? It’s all because that’s Yunxi’s only experience…

Ultimately, it’s all the clown’s fault!

[Yunxi, however, focused on another key point: So how do you know that, Korya? Have you been in many relationships before?]

Everyone in the viewing room knew this was impossible.

Yosano didn’t even show any emotional reaction:

Of course not. Aside from the kiss, the clown’s technique is already terrible enough. If this is the result of many relationships, then I’ll shave all of Atsushi-kun’s fur off.

Nakajima Atsushi: ???

What does this have to do with him?!

Gogol awkwardly: Haha, is that so? But little Yunxi seemed quite satisfied…

[Gogol teased Yunxi by remaining silent, making her think he was admitting it.

When Gogol finally confessed he was lying, Yunxi pressed down hard before cleanly pulling away.]

Although the large screen didn’t show this part, everyone in the viewing room could guess what had happened.

And so, everyone in the viewing room gaped in unison, while both the Gogol on screen and the one in the room fell silent.

Nakahara Chuuya, however, felt satisfied: That’s right, Yunxi should have done that long ago…

Wait.

[The clown teleported Yunxi back into his arms.

He seemed even more excited now.]

This time, Nakahara Chuuya wasn’t just verbally furious—his special ability had begun to spiral out of control: You bastard, you’re definitely not right in the head! Do you have some kind of masochistic tendency too!

After Yunxi had done such things, how could the other party seamlessly start over like nothing happened? Was that even something a normal person could do?

Yunxi didn’t understand either.

But what Yunxi mainly didn’t understand was: You said you saved up for so long to give it all to me—why isn’t it money?

So much yet so useless. Yunxi hates you.

Of course the Clown doesn’t understand saving money! Isn’t it normal to save this instead?

Anyway, Yunxi would accept it…

Compared to the exhilarated Gogol, the others in the viewing room were considerably more awkward.

Some were reading their notebooks, others were looking around, some were fidgeting with their fingers…

Fortunately, this segment was entirely blacked out and lasted only two minutes before skipping ahead.

Time jumped to the next afternoon. Yunxi was barbecuing.

Kunikida let out a long sigh of relief: Thank goodness Yunxi-kun can still eat barbecue…

It’s thinking.

Kunikida: .

Kunikida slammed his pen down: How many times do I have to say it—no more playing with Chinese homophone puns!

Meanwhile, Ozaki Kouyou asked curiously: So how long will Yunxi-kun be barbecuing—ahem, thinking?

Yunxi will barbecue until heaven lets him become the top!

Though there was an additional line afterward saying because Yunxi can’t take it anymore at all,Ozaki Kouyou glanced at the Gogol in her world, then at the large screen, comparing the physical differences between Yunxi and Gogol, and couldn’t help but remark:

Then Yunxi-kun might be thinking for a very long time.

After all, Gogol probably wouldn’t allow such a thing to happen.

Gogol’s smile seemed to widen just a bit.

Still, Gogol would definitely try to distract Yunxi.

Gogol showed the intel on his phone: Someone who fell from the sky just like little Yunxi has appeared in the desert. Does little Yunxi want to meet him?

Sigma had a bad feeling: It couldn’t be me…

After clearly seeing his own face on the phone screen, Sigma: It really is me!

He didn’t want to meet Yunxi!

While Sigma was breaking down, the others in the viewing room squinted, trying hard to read the intel about this manager of the Sky Casino on the small phone screen.

Gogol, however, cheerfully leaned closer to Sigma: Sigma, aren’t you happy? But little Yunxi can take Sigma away early!

After being coaxed by Gogol, Sigma finally broke down completely: Who would want to be treated like that?!

Verlaine glanced at Sigma, then casually looked away before Sigma could grow tense.

But his expression made it clear—he thought Sigma was being rather ungrateful.

Sigma realized this too, and his expression grew even more pained.

Nakahara Chuuya: .

It felt like he’d been inexplicably stepped on. That wasn’t just his imagination, right?

Scene change.

Desert.

Looking at the endless yellow sand before him, Yunxi wanted to exclaim loudly, but got a mouthful of sand instead.

Closing his mouth—couldn’t swallow it. Opening his mouth to spit—got another mouthful of sand.

Gogol, just like his other self, was driven to hysterical laughter by Yunxi’s adorableness.

Sigma, meanwhile, muttered under his breath: What’s the point of wrapping Yunxi-kun in a cloak to block the sand anyway?

Sigma’s imagined scenario was indeed possible, but the ones currently suffering at the hands of Yunxi and Gogol were clearly others.

Yunxi and Gogol left a trail of corpses as they advanced, and upon seeing the man who had just imprisoned Sigma, they immediately bisected him at the waist.

Even though Kunikida had witnessed many battle scenes, this bloody spectacle still startled him.

Seeing Yunxi on the large screen begin to criticize Gogol for his actions, Kunikida immediately chimed in: Exactly! They may be human traffickers, but that doesn’t justify arbitrarily torturing and killing them…

Yunxi’s meaning was that he wanted these people to suffer more before dying—why did Gogol kill them so directly?

Kunikida: …

Yosano sighed: Yunxi-kun has always been this brutal toward organizations that provoked him. Why are you still holding out hope for him?

Kunikida: .

It was only because he thought Yunxi might restrain himself in front of his future brother!

Sigma clearly lost trust in Yunxi because of this bloody scene.

But Sigma possessed an information-exchange type special ability, and Yunxi willingly allowed him to use it.

Fyodor’s pupils dilated slightly, but disappointment quickly followed: Sigma-kun won’t obtain much critical information.

After all, the Sigma in that world had no leverage. Faced with Yunxi and Gogol, whose combat prowess far exceeded his understanding, Sigma would only obediently exchange the information Yunxi permitted.

What a pity… I was hoping to see whether the intelligence about Yunxi-kun coming from another world would be exchanged…

Sigma was startled by Fyodor’s words. He imagined an alternate version of himself obtaining all of Yunxi’s information and being hunted down by various major forces…

Sigma once again felt grateful for his own caution.

Otherwise, he would have died long ago!

Meanwhile, on the large screen, Sigma’s special ability had already been activated.

Sigma learned that Yunxi held no ill will toward him, while Yunxi discovered that Sigma disliked white hair. Both were relatively satisfied with this outcome.

Gogol remarked solemnly: So little Yunxi most wanted to know whether Sigma would like white hair… and it turns out Sigma dislikes white-haired clowns like me…

Sigma couldn’t hold back: What’s there to like about white hair in the first place?!

Louisa had been stealing glances at Sigma in the Viewing Room and only now averted her gaze.

She murmured: Yunxi-kun did this on purpose, right? By diverting Sigma-kun’s attention this way, he could remove the shackles from Sigma’s wrists.

Many in the Viewing Room showed expressions of sudden understanding, while Sigma’s face went blank for a moment. Kunikida instantly suppressed all his anger.

Kunikida: So… that’s what it was?

He’d been mentally cursing Yunxi earlier—how could he have been so wrong!

Dazai Osamu: .

Dazai couldn’t take it anymore. He remarked gloomily: This is enough… If this large screen keeps playing, I suspect everyone in this Viewing Room will be brainwashed into becoming like the Nameless Organization!

Kunikida didn’t grasp the meaning at first, but Sigma sobered up slightly upon hearing Dazai’s words.

Yunxi molded molten iron into a reshaped flower.

Sigma’s breath hitched for half a second.

On the other side, Shakespeare raised an eyebrow: This special ability can indeed be used this way, but giving someone a flower at such a moment…

Isn’t it rather inappropriate?

Yunxi also realized this, so he reshaped the flower into a small dagger.

Sigma reached out this time.

Yes, I prefer this,Sigma said.

Sigma in the Viewing Room completely forgot what Dazai Osamu had just said.

The corners of his lips lifted slightly into a very quiet smile.

This time, surprisingly, no one in the Viewing Room interrupted.

This scene seemed utterly ordinary, with no extraordinary special abilities or thrilling combat sequences, but everyone in the Viewing Room knew that this single moment of choice might completely alter the course of Sigma’s life in the parallel world.

Nakajima Atsushi felt that the Sky Casino manager in his world wasn’t purely good, but the Sigma in the other world was undoubtedly a pure victim.

So Nakajima Atsushi murmured quietly: Yunxi-kun will keep his promise, right? He’ll treat Sigma-kun better…

After introducing Clown, Yunxi brought Sigma along and continued slaughtering the human traffickers.

Nakajima Atsushi shut his mouth.

Kunikida was devastated: Why must Yunxi-kun display such violent behavior in front of his own brother?Who did he learn this from?!

The Port Mafia members instinctively glanced toward Verlaine, then quickly averted their eyes before he could react.

Sigma also gradually retracted his smile at this cruel scene, his face turning pale. He even felt that Gogol’s waist-cutting execution wasn’t as terrifying anymore.

But since Yunxi was doing this for the other him, Sigma struggled for a long time before finally managing to say: Yunxi-kun could have given these people a quick death.

The other him definitely wouldn’t mind!

Yunxi kept killing.

He smashed the human traffickers’ heads against walls, went back on his word arbitrarily, pretended to spare one of them only to have Gogol stab through their throat…

Mori Ōgai watched with growing respect: Rather than a Savior, Yunxi-kun seems more like a natural-born mafia!

The Viewing Room crowd: …

So mafia qualities include going back on your word, low moral standards, and brutal methods!

Sigma, who witnessed the entire scene, was so terrified he seemed to be in vibration mode.

When Yunxi completely overturned the table in this desert, killing all the minor thugs at once and dragging back the mastermind, Sigma looked like he might faint at any second.

Gogol accepted the content on the big screen quite readily, even finding time to comfort Sigma:

Sigma, look – Little Yunxi killed so many people without hesitation, but he didn’t kill you. Little Yunxi is really nice!

Sigma: .

He got it, he totally got it!

Could Gogol please stop making him recall that scene repeatedly? He was really going to vomit!

Feeling nauseous aside, Sigma still wanted to take revenge personally.

He raised the dagger and approached the boss.

As the dagger fell, Gogol timely lifted his cloak, wrapping Yunxi inside.

Dazai Osamu, for once, didn’t say he felt like vomiting. He just let out a light tsk.

Nakajima Atsushi was much more straightforward, muttering under his breath: I never expected that Clown-san to have such a gentle side.

Sigma: .

So he has a gentle side, just not one he shows to him, right?

He’s still killing people on the big screen! Can’t these people show some respect for his revenge scene?!

[Not only did Gogol block the blood and gore, he even proactively told Yunxi some flower-related puns to distract him: Do you know what kind of bean ‘beans are burned to cook beans’ refers to?]

Sigma got distracted too, asking in confusion: What bean?

[Yunxi: My foolish little brother (otouto)?]

Sigma: ?

Sigma: !!!

[Sigma on the big screen was also horrified, but fortunately Gogol promptly explained: It’s peas!]

Sigma: …

Though speechless, Sigma still felt somewhat relieved.

Gogol was murmuring along with his on-screen self: Little Yunxi really is an idiot!

On the other side, Kunikida was completely furious: I can accept Yunxi-kun and Gogol-kun starting to use puns, but can Yunxi-kun please stop always remembering Japanese at times like this?!

Last time it was daijoubuand sumimasenin front of the Clock Tower Attendant, now it’s otoutoin front of Sigma… Can’t he remember them during good occasions?!
