Chapter 77: Viewing Room 6 (Including 24.2k Nutrient Solution Bonus) ……

Fortunately, the plot finally returned to seriousness.

With Gogol’s help, Yunxi gained some idea of what to do next.

Seeing that Gogol was no longer useful, Yunxi began to shoo him away.
Fyodor had just begun to appreciate Yunxi’s tendency to retaliate on the spot, but now, Fyodor was confused again.

Is Yunxi really that cold-hearted?

Wait, there might be a plausible explanation…

Gogol also thought of this possibility, so with a wave of his cloak, he changed back to his original appearance.

Yunxi’s eyes instantly glued to him, and his words took a sudden turn: Will you stay tonight?

I can do backflips, he added.
Fyodor’s expression remained blank.

Case closed.

Yunxi was still the same Yunxi who would instantly cave in when faced with white hair. His earlier behavior was only because Gogol had disguised himself with black hair.

The others in the Viewing Room, however, were different. They began earnestly studying Gogol’s white hair, then examining the other white-haired individuals in the Viewing Room.

They looked from Tachihara Michizō to Ivan, then to Nakajima Atsushi, and even glanced at Hirotsu Ryūrō and Fukuchi Ochi. No matter how they looked, they couldn’t understand why Yunxi was so fond of it.

White hair… doesn’t seem particularly special, does it?

Kunikida muttered as he flipped through his notebook to the section recording when Yunxi first met Clown: Could it really be because of some Chinese genes?

Yosano shrugged: There’s no way to verify that, since there aren’t any Chinese people here… and even if there were, we couldn’t test it, right?

It’s not like we can just offer up Atsushi-kun…

Nakajima Atsushi suddenly felt a chill down his spine.

But the scene on the large screen abruptly changed, and Nakajima Atsushi’s attention was drawn back to it.

After watching for a while, Nakajima Atsushi said in disbelief: He’s planning to raid the Port Mafia’s weapons depot?!

The Armed Detective Agency had once broken into the Port Mafia before, but that time, their plan only succeeded because everyone worked together… Yunxi is alone, without any special ability, where does he get such confidence?

Yunxi’s confidence came from his plan.
Mori Ōgai initially looked casual, but upon seeing that Yunxi’s backpack could store Earth and air, and that Yunxi was so cautious he’d even kill insects, Mori Ōgai suddenly grew restless.

What’s worse, Yunxi’s caution formed a stark contrast with the Port Mafia’s seemingly intimidating but actually lax security.

The Port Mafia only watched the skies and surroundings, while Yunxi was alert to the air, earth, small animals, front, back, up, down, left, right…

Thus, Yunxi drew closer and closer to the weapons depot.
Mori Ōgai, who had never imagined anyone could approach the weapons depot like this, was wide-eyed with shock. The others present were no less astonished.

Louisa: Can just a player’s backpack achieve this effect?

Nakajima Atsushi whispered: We really can’t underestimate anyone!

Fitzgerald sighed: Such caution, truly remarkable! I think Yunxi-kun might actually succeed!

Ozaki Kouyou tried to comfort herself: It’s fine, the Port Mafia’s surveillance system isn’t just for show…

No matter how advanced the Port Mafia’s security system was, it made no difference to Yunxi—he had long been prepared to die once.

After having a bunch of weapons confiscated and being hit by the self-defense system, Yunxi instantly fell into the pit he had dug earlier, then dug his way out at top speed!

Akutagawa Ryunosuke opened his mouth to speak, then closed it again.

The target was underground—there was truly nothing he could do… but still!

You coward, afraid to face me directly, Akutagawa finally spat out, coughing twice before muttering under his breath.

Gogol, having recovered from the earlier excitement, immediately retorted, Not at all! This was clearly Yunxi orchestrating a free and imaginative raid!

On screen, Gogol also praised Yunxi’s methods highly. Not only that, he admitted to Fyodor that Yunxi had changed him.

Kunikida snapped, Forget everything else—this is clearly not a good change!

Mori Ōgai felt the same way.

While mourning the loss of his alternate self’s arsenal, Mori couldn’t understand why Yunxi and the Clown were so brazen without fearing the Port Mafia’s retaliation.

Gogol truly had no fear of death.

But he was curious whether Yunxi feared being caught by the Port Mafia and chopped into mincemeat.

Yunxi: (Not in such large chunks.)

On the big screen, Gogol laughed cheerfully, while outside the screen, Mori Ōgai wore an icy expression.

So Yunxi had self-awareness after all.

Good—he had worried Yunxi didn’t realize how detestable he was.

But soon, Mori discovered that Yunxi could become even more infuriating.

The next day, during Ozaki Kouyou’s interrogation, Yunxi—from the perspective of a Party Committee Secretary—composed an impromptu essay for the Port Mafia, full of revolutionary zeal and political correctness.

Many in the Viewing Room had lived in chaotic environments like mafia organizations or were familiar with such groups.

All of them wore expressions of utter disbelief when faced with Yunxi’s essay.

Agatha frowned. Investigate thoroughly, scrutinize meticulously, punish severely…

It sounded so familiar—she could almost picture Yunxi holding a cup of tea…

Sakaguchi Ango’s face twisted in horror. Moral and ideological education for the mafia? Building a clean and upright underworld organization?

Nakahara Chuuya exclaimed, Don’t take a single needle or thread from the organization? Is that phrase even supposed to be used here?!

He was nearly driven to laughter by Yunxi’s absurdity, but halfway through his anger, he realized Yunxi was doing it on purpose—he wanted to expose himself now to meet the Boss.

If Yunxi was being this outrageous, wouldn’t Sister Kouyou figure it out immediately…

Ozaki Kouyou concluded that Yunxi couldn’t possibly be a spy from the Supernatural Affairs Division or the Yokohama Police.

She suspected he was a civil servant from the neighboring country who had come to resist Japan.

And so, Ozaki Kouyou let Yunxi go.

Everyone in the Viewing Room: ???

Sakaguchi Ango shut his eyes tightly.

It was true! The Port Mafia actually believed someone would come from China to resist Japan in their organization!

Ozaki Kouyou was equally shocked, but after her surprise, she immediately turned to Mori Ōgai beside her. My apologies, Boss.

Mori Ōgai maintained a rather good attitude: After all, Yunxi-kun alone doesn’t need that many weapons, and other mafia organizations haven’t made any moves. It’s perfectly reasonable for Executive Kouyou from the other world to think it wasn’t Yunxi-kun.

Besides, this could be considered causing Yunxi-kun some trouble…

Yunxi continued stealing.

Mori Ōgai: .

Could he take back what he just said?

Give Yunxi a little trouble, and he’d immediately return it tenfold, a hundredfold!

An unknown amount of time passed. The Port Mafia was nearly emptied out before Ozaki Kouyou managed to restrain Yunxi again.

Just as Yunxi had anticipated, Mori Ōgai personally went to see him.

While Mori Ōgai was talking incessantly, Yunxi was frantically stealing.

The atmosphere among the Port Mafia members in the Viewing Room had sunk to its lowest possible point.

They always believed in returning favors tenfold, but Yunxi was in a different world, possessed Immortality, and the other world’s boss had been extensively robbed without even realizing it…

Mori Ōgai suddenly noticed.

Because Yunxi had stolen the information he wanted and accidentally stole a bit more, taking Mori Ōgai’s red scarf.

Port Mafia members: !!!

Excellent! Now that they were aware, the other world’s versions of themselves could teach Yunxi a lesson!

Yunxi argued that Mori Ōgai had encountered a supernatural event and should go to the temple to pray.

Mori Ōgai curled his lips into a cold smile, mirroring his on-screen self: Is that so?

Even at this critical moment, Kunikida couldn’t help his curiosity: So which temple is it?

It’s the all-healing KFC Crazy Thursday!

Mori Ōgai, who had been about to deliver a threatening line: .

After a brief moment of thoughtful consideration, Kunikida once again snapped the pen in his hand in frustration: He could have at least named a random temple! This ‘KFC Crazy Thursday’ is clearly just nonsense!

Wait, something smelled delicious.

Following the scent, Kunikida saw Gogol, who had asked the Viewing Room for an order of the all-healing KFC Crazy Thursday.

While picking through his food, Gogol freely exclaimed: It truly is the all-healing Crazy Thursday!

Viewing Room attendees: .

That’s enough, no need to humor Yunxi like that… but it really does smell good.

Laszlo happened to enter while hungry. Although eating here wouldn’t actually fill him up, satisfying his brain and taste buds wasn’t bad either.

So he raised his hand: Viewing Room, give me one too.

Nakajima Atsushi timidly: M-me too…

And so, the rich aroma of the all-healing feast permeated the entire Viewing Room.

Mori Ōgai: …

So no one was paying attention to him anymore?

Never mind, he’d pay attention to himself…

But then, not wanting to waste any more time, Yunxi directly collected Earth×100 beneath himself and released Cement×99.

Rumble!

Fitzgerald: Is he insane? Isn’t he afraid of being crushed flat?

Louisa: He just wants the cement to smash him into the soil. Whether he gets crushed flat doesn’t matter.

Fitzgerald remembered that detail, but still didn’t understand: Surely an entire organization has at least one Esper capable of pursuing underground? Where does Yunxi-kun get the confidence that he can escape?

The resurrected Yunxi extended his hand and opened eight passages in eight directions around him at once.

He himself continued downward, digging out an entirely new passage. After confirming no one was around, he began to run outward.

Fitzgerald: …

He remembered now—Yunxi-kun was quite cautious in this regard.

But digging eight fake routes was going too far! Wasn’t Yunxi afraid Yokohama would eventually be hollowed out by him?!

Since Yunxi wasn’t a local of Yokohama, only the Port Mafia members were worried about such things.

They planned to wait and see if Yunxi would help them fill in the soil. If he didn’t… they would do it themselves.

Shakespeare: Well, after all, we can’t have Yokohama’s elevation end up lower than the surrounding sea level after Yunxi-kun leaves, can we?

The people of Yokohama: …

Absolutely not!

How would they live then? Turn into stubborn fish one by one?

Unfortunately, the public-spiritedness-lacking Yunxi was destined not to clean up the Earth×800 he had taken away.

He ran for who knows how long until he finally felt safe.

After killing all the living creatures around him, Yunxi opened the stolen intelligence, planning to take a look first.

Nakahara Chuuya originally just didn’t want Yunxi to read the intelligence about him and Executive Rando in front of so many people from their world. But after Yunxi killed a bunch of small animals—even the eyeless earthworms weren’t spared—Chuuya finally couldn’t hold back.

Is Yunxi-kun really in this world as a Savior?

He swore he wasn’t some extreme animal rights activist… but with Yunxi killing like this, weren’t these small animals dying in too large numbers?!

Hugo wanted to agree, but the contents of the two intelligence reports caught his attention.

So did everyone else in the Viewing Room.

Laszlo instinctively raised his evaluation of Yokohama a bit higher: To create a semi-successful imitation of Norse God and just kill a Transcendent like that…

Chuuya wanted to refute, to say he wasn’t just some imitation and that Rando hadn’t died recklessly, but Yunxi on the big screen reacted even more intensely.

A Transcendent?!

This one seems like a must-steal!

Sure enough, Verlaine looked like he could kill someone the next second.

He placed a hand over his heart: My dear friend, I did wish for your death, but it was never my intention for your body to suffer such indignities.

If given the chance, he would find Yunxi and take revenge for his dear friend…

Huh?

Yunxi and the accidentally stolen Singularity Rimbaud stared at each other.

Verlaine’s killing intent gradually faded.

How long had it been since he last saw his dear friend…

Yunxi just thought he hadn’t expected to also steal the guy who would make a fortune in a take off one piece of clothing for 10 million CEO event.

Verlaine: …

Normally, Verlaine would have been angered by Yunxi’s rather impolite remark.

But Yunxi seemed genuinely envious that Rimbaud could earn money from such an event.

Just like that, Verlaine’s killing intent completely vanished. He began to ponder, and by the time he finished thinking, Rimbaud and Yunxi had finished their discussion.

Yunxi agreed to hand the Singularity Rimbaud over to Nakahara Chuuya, but the price was that Rimbaud would tacitly allow Yunxi to take his entire set of clothes and had to provide Yunxi with intelligence about the world outside Yokohama.

Both sides felt they had scored a huge deal.

Verlaine snapped back to reality and saw this scene. He felt Rimbaud had gotten the short end of the stick, but Rimbaud was clearly quite satisfied with it.

Verlaine was momentarily speechless.

Nakahara Chuuya, on the other hand, was simply caught off guard: He actually designated it to be handed over to me?

So, had Rando-san cared about and trusted him that much since back then?

Just like that, Yunxi left with the Singularity Rimbaud.

At first, the Singularity Rimbaud remained quiet, but after waiting for a long time without reaching the surface, he finally couldn’t hold back and started asking all sorts of questions.

Yunxi patiently answered every one of them, reserving his only impatience for the mafia member he had chosen as a demonstration target.

Such fine firearms left in such a mess—do you think I’m some kind of Mugen character who can carry eight at once? Speak up!
Nakahara Chuuya originally didn’t understand the reference to Mugen carrying eight at once, but the large screen provided an explanation.

Already exasperated enough, when the on-screen Rimbaud appeared to be pondering whether humans or non-humans were harder to comprehend, Nakahara Chuuya finally couldn’t hold back.

None of this has anything to do with being human or non-human, right?! It’s just Yunxi-kun being absurd on his own!

At that moment, not many people in the Viewing Room paid attention to Nakahara Chuuya’s remark.

Just then, Yunxi finally reached a spot close to the surface.

He prepared to send a text to Gogol, reminding him that his mole-type boyfriend had arrived.
Kunikida: Where did this mole-type come from?! There’s only the landmine-type, right?!

Gogol: Haha, this clown hasn’t agreed to be little Yunxi’s boyfriend yet either.

As the soil above him disappeared, revealing a pair of unfamiliar yet friendly amethyst eyes, Yunxi spoke bluntly: That night, Mori-sensei and Dazai Osamu were both drunk.
Fyodor, Dazai Osamu, and Mori Ōgai, who had been utterly blindsided by Yunxi’s words: ???
