Chapter 71: Double Celebrity AU (End) (Includes 22.3k Nutrient Solution Bonus…

Here’s the situation.

Fyodor was just browsing the internet at home as usual when he suddenly connected to the network from the Otherworld and saw posts from Otherworld residents.

Among the numerous posts whose titles Fyodor couldn’t understand at all, one post with familiar names naturally caught his attention immediately – it had the highest popularity and an absolutely explosive title just from the headline.

Fyodor clicked into it.

【Title: Compilation Post: Some little-known facts about the Gogol×Yunxi CP.】【HOT】

Original Post: Feel free to reference for fan creations.

PS: No splitting or reversing the CP allowed! Not even if the actual people themselves show up! Violators will be directly kicked out of this post!

1L:

Wow, this looks like it’s going to be another high-rise thread. Front row photo op!

2L:

The actual people would never object anyway! Gogol×Yunxi is great! Correct! Indisputable!

3L OP:

Let’s get straight to it.

1. Many people think the colored diamonds on Yunxi’s ears are just somewhat expensive, but they’re actually super expensive. However, because Yunxi’s doesn’t wear luxury items persona is so deeply ingrained, for a long time the production crew, staff around Yunxi, and Yunxi’s fans all thought what Yunxi wore were fakes, just better-made counterfeits.

It wasn’t until later when the two gained more popularity and people started digging into details that they realized something was off. Yunxi himself didn’t discover he’d been wearing two luxury villas on his ears until netizens’ discussions trended on hot searches.

4L:

Ahhhh I remember that! When someone exposed that they were together, it took a full 24 hours before Clown came out to respond! His response was a candid photo of little Yunxi with two diamond emojis. While everyone was debating whether this counted as silent confirmation, they also dug up the price of those earrings!

5L:

6L:

It’s fine, Yunxi’s contract is about to expire anyway. He’ll most likely change companies then – that company never deserved Yunxi in the first place.

7L OP:

2. Yunxi actually isn’t stingy with himself at all. If something is useful, he’ll still buy it even if it’s expensive. Yunxi just knows how to manage his wealth properly and doesn’t splurge recklessly just because he became a celebrity.

The one who’s truly stingy with himself is Gogol. He keeps bringing out that clown outfit to wear every now and then – feels like he could wear it from young clown all the way to middle-aged clown.

8L:

Hahahaha until he becomes Lao Chou in the end?

But can this really serve as evidence that Clown is stingy? Isn’t Clown generous enough when spending money on Yunxi?

9L:

Exactly! I want to refute this little-known fact! Just look at these pictures of Yunxi! (image.jpg)×5 – all those expensive accessories on Yunxi come from Clown. How can this prove Clown is stingy?!

10L OP:

This only proves Clown likes spending money on Yunxi. He’s still stingy with himself. Moving on.

Fyodor in front of the screen: …

He stared at those solo pictures of Yunxi for a long time.

Fyodor had already developed basic trust in the fact that Gogol had accidentally traveled to the Otherworld, but he still didn’t quite understand why Gogol would fall for this youth.

Aside from exceptionally good looks, the other party didn’t seem particularly special?

Forget it. Fyodor chose to continue reading.

3. During the filming of Circus, Gogol didn’t kiss Yunxi after the cut – that plot came from a fanfiction.

However, it’s true that later when Gogol and Yunxi appeared on a variety show together, during the chase segment, they hid together in a corner. Thinking there were no cameras around, Gogol kissed Yunxi repeatedly, growing more excited with each kiss and even attempting to get handsy. The director eventually cut the footage.

21L:

The second one was actually real??? (Dazed) The plot that seemed fake turned out to be real, while the one that seemed real turned out to be fake…

22L:

Huh? You didn’t know about the kissing on the variety show? This clip trended on hot search the moment it came out. Not only was Clown outrageous, Yunxi was hilarious too.

You’d never guess – Yunxi actually tried to press Clown’s head against his neck to make him quiet down for a while. I was cackling like crazy watching Clown get more and more excited while Yunxi grew increasingly frantic…

23L:

Okay, I believe the latter part, but I still don’t believe the first part! How could Clown possibly restrain himself during movie filming!!!

24L OP:

With so many people around during filming, it would be strange if he couldn’t control himself. The second time was with hidden cameras – completely different.

Fyodor just felt doubly speechless.

When it came to Gogol, there was no way he wouldn’t have noticed any hidden cameras. He simply wanted to do it, so he did.

But this made it even harder to understand – how could Gogol accept losing his freedom in others’ perception and binding himself to another person?

28L OP:

4. Gogol tells fewer lies when not wearing his mask, so Yunxi always puts the mask on him. This way, Gogol at most attacks the audience with exaggerated performances rather than tormenting him with overly cringey I love little Yunxi! declarations.

29L:

?????? Huh?

30L:

Damn! I’ve been set up!

30L:

Capitalism (scratched out) Yunxi, you win!

55L OP:

5. Yunxi really loves white hair – so much so that during their second collaboration, when filming crying scenes, Yunxi wouldn’t wipe his tears on Gogol’s hair. Instead, he wiped them on another male supporting character’s clothes from a distance, making the director laugh in frustration.

Eventually, they changed the angle of Yunxi’s position in this scene so he wouldn’t touch Gogol’s hair before they could proceed.

56L:

I heard about this before, but I thought it was just a story made up by product shippers. It was actually real?

57L:

It’s true. The director even complained about it on Weibo, saying next time he wouldn’t pair Yunxi with white-haired co-stars. Netizens in the comments were asking who he wanted to pair Yunxi with instead, lol!

58L:

Later, Clown replied with two eye emojis.

59L:

Clown will be watching you, forever and ever…

70L OP:

6. Gogol actually likes Little White Bird very much because he loves freedom, and he thinks Little White Bird represents freedom.

But Yunxi is a succubus specialized against Little White Bird. Every time Gogol approaches Little White Bird, Little White Bird would actively fly to Yunxi’s side. If it’s mating season, there’s a 99% chance it would go forward to court Yunxi. Gogol later rarely brought Yunxi near Little White Bird anymore.

71L:

Damn, I just wrote in a fanfic that Gogol never liked birds since childhood! I’ll change it! I’ll change it!

72L:

That’s true, but let me add something—even now, Gogol still likes birds, just that he’s switched to bird plushies instead.

However, Gogol isn’t particularly enthusiastic about inanimate objects. He usually plays with them for a while before casually setting them aside, after which Yunxi ends up playing with the bird plushies.

Previously, fans dug up a reply left by Yunxi using Gogol’s account in the review section of a store selling electric birds that flap their wings and chirp automatically.

Yunxi commented: [The bird’s quality is great, played with it daily, and it still has battery after 3 months]. A month later, he followed up with: [Correction—the quality isn’t that good after all. Someone’s been secretly replacing the batteries. The bird actually ran out of power long ago (attached video: Little White Bird flapping its wings and chirping).]

73L:

Is this for real? Can someone kind DM me the details? I need to see this!

74L!

Fyodor paused his scrolling.

Gogol-kun, doesn’t like living birds? Fyodor asked, puzzled. Just because they send… courtship signals to this Yunxi-kun?
Is the person across from him really still Gogol?

Fyodor didn’t understand. He tentatively typed in the reply box: [Doesn’t Gogol-kun feel that Yunxi-kun is restricting his freedom?]

The thread owner was clearly offline at the moment. Fyodor didn’t receive an immediate reply, but he wasn’t bothered and continued reading.

100L Thread Owner:

7. Here’s a rather unfortunate truth—though many of Yunxi’s solo fans refuse to admit it—Gogol is 184cm barefoot, while Yunxi is 180cm in flat shoes. That’s why Yunxi always looks so much shorter when standing next to Gogol.

It’s mostly because too many celebrities in the entertainment industry lie about their heights, and since Yunxi was already very close to 180cm, the discrepancy went unnoticed for a long time.

101L:

Ahhh, why bring this up?! Yunxi, don’t look—it’s a bad comment! (Covering eyes)!!!

102L:

Solo fans have arrived! This can’t hurt us anymore! So what if Gogol is 5cm taller than Yunxi? Doesn’t he still have to bend his knees to see the world from Yunxi’s perspective?

103L:

Solo fan above, you… sacrificing eight hundred to injure a thousand isn’t the way to go!

104L:

The sacrifice isn’t that small.

105L:

Hahahaha!

106L Thread Owner:

Speaking of which, here’s some intel related to Yunxi’s fans.

8. After Yunxi’s fanbase found out that Yunxi and Gogol were actually together, they launched a massive anti-girlfriend campaign. Unfortunately, the movement collapsed before it could even get halfway.

The reason? Too many people showed up. The cars heading to Gogol’s filming location were overloaded, and Gogol reported every single one of them to the police.

After that, these fans refused to give up. They started an online mobilization rally with live audio, complete with a 580-page PowerPoint presentation. But again, there were too many participants—the conferencing app crashed halfway through. The next day, Gogol reported them for illegal propagation of beliefs, and that batch got arrested too.

107L:

Hahaha, I’m just a bystander, but I never expected something this absurd!

So these people finally gave up because of Gogol’s persistent reporting? Based on what I know about fan culture, their resentment toward Gogol should’ve only grown stronger, right?

108L Thread Owner:

That brings us to point number 9.

9. When Yunxi heard that Gogol was pulling this kind of stunt for the second time, he directly reported Gogol—who was illegally riding a modified motorcycle in his rural hometown—to the police, landing him in jail.

So when the fangirls who were reflecting on their actions in jail looked up, they found the person they hated most locked up with them. But they couldn’t lay a hand on him because the police officers and their idol were also present.

It’s said that Yunxi pitifully (debatable, since this came from his solo stans) said, “If you have issues, you can talk them out here. Let’s not argue anymore, okay? I love you all the most.”

The solo stans immediately had a surge of maternal affection, explaining that they just found Clown too annoying and didn’t want to keep seeing someone else in their fan site photos (even if it was just a white blur—after all, their imagination was so strong that just seeing a white patch made them picture Clown’s punchable smile). They only wanted to see Yunxi.

But if Yunxi asked them to, they could ignore Clown from then on. After all, they loved Yunxi the most too.

109L:

I heard about the follow-up!

The follow-up was that Yunxi was chased away by his own fans, who said staying too long might lead to rumors on forums that he’d committed a crime, plus the chairs at the police station weren’t comfortable.

As for Clown, he was ignored by Yunxi’s fans all night. Even when he performed magic and pulled out blankets he’d prepared for them, it didn’t calm these women down. After they returned home, they continued to curse Clown on forums: [What a peacock, no sense of male virtue.]

110L:

Gogol: clown.jpg

111L:

Hahahaha I was eating when I read about the solo stan’s antics and burst out laughing!

112L:

OP, keep going! I want to hear about Gogol’s fandom! If his solo stans come after you, I’ll help you fight them!

113L OP:

There’s not much to say about Gogol’s side.

Gogol’s fan interactions are too unpredictable. He has no tragic backstory to exploit, and his company doesn’t employ professional fans to guide the fandom, so his solo stan community has never really taken shape. Plus, with more and more shippers of Gogol and Yunxi popping up, it’s only going to get harder to cultivate solo stans in the future.

150L OP:

Back on topic.

10. Gogol always wears a cloak—an exaggeratedly long white one.

Once, when Yunxi secretly joined a film crew for shooting, his fans didn’t know and started rumors that Gogol had used his cloak to sneak Yunxi away.

This rumor was so absurd it shouldn’t have gained any traction, but thanks to some young fans and bystanders who love drama, it spread like wildfire. Gogol even endured several rounds of online bullying on trending searches. As a result, later, whenever Gogol saw fans during his travels, he’d instinctively lift his cloak and bow.

151L:

So that’s why? I always thought Clown was just showing off and even complained multiple times, [Don’t treat the airport like your red carpet]…

152L:

Gogol casual fan here! Gogol was wronged! It was Yunxi’s fans who wanted to see it!!!

153L:

Gogol: If I show you, you can’t say Yunxi is with me anymore (heart)!

154L:

Solo stan: Don’t worry, we’ll definitely still say it (heart).

155L:

Hahaha I’m lying in bed laughing so hard I’m shaking. How does Gogol turn into a real clown every time he encounters Yunxi’s fans?

But seriously, didn’t Gogol really sneak him away? I just don’t believe it. Would he let Yunxi stay alone on set for a whole month?

156L OP:

The surface evidence shows he definitely didn’t steal.

What happens privately is unknown. After all, Clown is quite good at disguising himself. If he really cosplayed as staff and sneaked in, no one would notice.

157L:

Hiss! Imagine Yunxi finishing work and finding an unfamiliar man in his room, and the other party starts getting handsy with him…

158L:

While that sounds appealing, Yunxi is actually quite skilled at fighting. Any strange man entering Yunxi’s room would just get beaten up by Yunxi, then promptly handed over to the police station.

159L:

So true! The first time I saw Yunxi’s raw combat footage, it scared me! All those bang bang bang sounds – if you didn’t know better, you’d think New China had issued Yunxi a personal firearm!

160L OP:

Exactly. 11. Yunxi can’t beat Gogol in close combat because 90% of Yunxi’s moves were learned from Clown.

The reason Yunxi always gets more fight scenes in the group is mainly because he has more youthful energy, creating stronger contrast when he fights. Clown already looks like a murderer anyway, so there’s no need to give him lots of combat scenes to emphasize that.

161L:

Hahahaha dying, so true! Clown already looks like a murderer!

162L:

So Yunxi’s combat skills were taught by Clown? Then where did Clown learn them? The more you think about it, the scarier it gets!

163L:

Simple – he learned them while fighting Russian bears.

164L:

Hahaha alright alright, then it makes perfect sense that they’re all lethal techniques! Truly worthy of Russians!

165L OP:

12. Last point – Gogol likes teasing Yunxi, so anything fun related to Yunxi is probably Gogol’s doing on purpose.

Although Yunxi has solo fans, these fans have to stay extremely vigilant during every meal because they might accidentally eat food made by brother-in-law. So I don’t recommend anyone become Yunxi’s solo fan now – it’s a dead end.

166L:

Hahahaha this is the truth!

167L:

Solo fans: You never sang such childish songs to me…
168L:

No problem! I’ll eat the food brother-in-law makes! I’ll feast on it! Brother-in-law, I’ll come back to eat next time! (wipes mouth) (leaves) (realizes forgot to tip) (comes back) (eats surprise feast)

169L:

The surprise feast must be referring to the recent magazine shoot, right? The staff recorded the behind-the-scenes and briefly left, only to return and find Yunxi being forced to call Clown brother hehehe…

170L:

I used to think Clown coaxing Yunxi into calling him brother during their first variety show together was a coincidence, but now it’s clear it was premeditated!

Fyodor was still reading the following replies when he suddenly noticed a bright red [2] had appeared below his forum interface.

The OP had replied to him.

999L OP:

Gogol feeling unfree because of Yunxi? No way! He said being with Yunxi is when he feels most free!

1000L OP:

If you’re asking this question, you must not have seen any Gogol×Yunxi compilations, right? If you had, you wouldn’t have such thoughts!

(Attachment: video link) This is my favorite video, Master! Please enjoy!

Fyodor clicked on it with some skepticism.

A few minutes later, Fyodor exited with a grim expression.

However, Fyodor was an exceptionally resilient mouse, so even with his extremely complicated feelings, he still swiftly organized all the potentially useful information from this forum at his fastest pace.

It wasn’t until the forum disappeared from his screen that Fyodor gradually came to a stop.

He took a long time to calm down, yet still couldn’t fully recover.

But one really couldn’t blame him for that.

After all, he was just a religious Russian. Faced with someone like Gogol—who would kiss another male a hundred times, wished to wrap the other person in his cloak 24/7, and would even teleport his own hand away in public just to fidget all over the other person—the fact that Fyodor didn’t throw up was already a sign of utmost politeness!!!
