Chapter 61 ☆End of Main Story☆ (Extra Chapter 5 for Ningning’s Long Review) …

As soon as these words were spoken, not only was Yunxi puzzled, but Gogol immediately grew alert and wrapped Yunxi within his cloak.

Yet Fyodor quickly regained his composure, pretending nonchalance as he asked some seemingly unimportant questions.

Ten minutes later.

Fyodor declared with certainty: Yunxi-kun, you are the deity of our world.

A body originally existing in higher dimensions, unlike [Beast Beneath the Moonlight]; a Special Ability capable of establishing rules; and the power to free this world from being a ‘story’… Fyodor shook his head, The abilities you’ve displayed appear vastly different from any being in our world.

Yunxi: !!!

If what Fyodor called a deity actually referred to higher-dimensional players, then he wasn’t wrong… But Yunxi hadn’t revealed much, had he? How exactly had Fyodor deduced this?

Seeing Fyodor smilingly extend his hand with unclear intentions, Yunxi’s Special Ability erupted uncontrollably, causing him to flee from the Otherworld resident in such a disheveled state for the first time.

While Yunxi could confidently claim to be the Savior, calling himself a deity felt like going too far!

At least Fyodor is willing to behave and focus on proper work now. Yunxi tried to comfort himself, Such an intelligent mind would be wasted if he didn’t research something with Dazai Osamu!

Gogol had initially been displeased by Fyodor’s apparent attempt to intrude upon his relationship, but Yunxi’s words successfully diverted his attention.

Gogol found it somewhat unimaginable what it would be like if Fyodor actually developed the manned spacecraft Chang’e 7.

Though Dazai Osamu’s weapon carving a 中 character on the moon was equally absurd, Gogol thought that if it ever came to that, he might just accept it.

Just then, Dazai Osamu returned and showed genuine surprise upon seeing them: Hm? Yunxi-kun, Gogol-kun?

Gogol expressed equal surprise: Dazai-kun, why aren’t you staying in Yokohama?

Dazai Osamu: .

What else could it be? Of course it was because he couldn’t be bothered continuing as Port Mafia boss, and the newly reinstated Mori Ōgai’s overt and covert targeting had become too much, making him feel that staying in Yokohama would just trigger another round of palace intrigue.

But Dazai couldn’t be bothered explaining this part, skipping directly to: Are you looking for me? Regretting wasting all the top-tier weapons I brought, making the final battle against [the Divine Being] so difficult?

Yunxi: .

Ahem! Yunxi attempted to change the subject, Actually, we just dropped by and didn’t expect to run into you, Dazai.

But since we’ve met. Yunxi’s gaze gradually turned probing, Dazai, what do people usually call you here?

Dazai Worker? Tai Worker? They all sound so strange…

Dazai Osamu: .

Couldn’t people just call him Dazai-sensei or Dazai-senpai?

And was this really all these two wanted to talk about upon seeing him?

Dazai waited a moment longer, confirming this was indeed the case, before finally completely reverting to an expressionless state.

Ryunosuke.

A lean young man with distinctive gradient black-and-white sideburns abruptly appeared.

Even knowing how powerful Yunxi and the Clown were, he still unhesitatingly activated his special ability and directly swept Yunxi and Gogol out the door.

Bang! The door slammed shut behind them.

Yunxi and Gogol: ???

Yunxi wanted to say this young man was too bold, but considering Dazai Osamu had seemed to want to help him earlier, and this bold youth was something like Dazai Osamu’s student, Yunxi held back.

Hmph, I won’t bother with these two for now. Yunxi turned and burrowed into Gogol’s cloak, only revealing a small, fluffy head. Let’s head to the next location!

This time, the two went to Nakahara Chuuya and Verlaine’s home.

Unlike Dazai Osamu, neither Nakahara Chuuya nor Verlaine had any particular fascination with death. Their current lives were no different from ordinary people’s.

Verlaine had found a simple job teaching new, powerful espers how to use their special abilities, while Nakahara Chuuya attended a public school.

It was the weekend, and both Verlaine and Nakahara Chuuya happened to be home. As soon as Yunxi and Gogol arrived at the door, the highly perceptive Verlaine greeted them and, due to Yunxi’s unique status, brought them inside.

Nakahara Chuuya had been catching up on missed homework but rushed out as soon as he heard Yunxi and Gogol had arrived.

Then, he rushed back inside.

Yunxi, Gogol, and Verlaine: ?

Nakahara Chuuya returned, this time bringing his homework with him.

Glaring at a bewildered Yunxi, he said through gritted teeth, You solve these questions related to you yourself!

Yunxi and Gogol: ???

[Question 11: During the first official demonstration of our country’s newly developed weapon, the demonstrator Yunxi aimed it at the moon and left a large character Zhong on its surface.

Why was it Zhong, and what does Zhong represent?]

Yunxi was first stunned to see his name printed so openly in the homework, but he quickly snapped out of it and decisively said, It’s definitely B! The ‘中’ that represents the Armed Detective Agency giving the middle finger to Earth!

Gogol: The Clown thinks D isn’t wrong either—it expresses Little Yunxi’s homesickness!Verlaine joined in the fun: ‘It should be A, representing the ‘middle’ for China.

Gogol raised his hand: So, what’s the correct answer?

Nakahara Chuuya’s mood had sunk to an all-time low: It’s C, because the demonstrator Yunxi is from Henan Province.

Now the whole world knew Yunxi was the one who fired the cannon at the moon, so why was he still talking about the Armed Detective Agency?!

Refusing to give up, Nakahara Chuuya made Yunxi continue with the questions.

Yunxi instinctively said, Paul Verlaine?

Verlaine: ?

What did this have to do with him?

Nakahara Chuuya: Protecting the life, health, and safety of a nation’s citizens!!

There were many more questions about Yunxi: reading comprehension on Yunxi’s speech at the beer hall, analysis of the architectural style of Yunxi’s Imperial Ancestral Temple, a short-answer question on why there was an empty space in the middle of the stone tablet in front of Yunxi’s Imperial Ancestral Temple…

Yunxi got every single one wrong.

Nakahara Chuuya: First question: Yunxi chose the beer hall for his speech because the people here were his target audience, possessing basic purchasing power and dissatisfaction with their current lives.

Yunxi whispered: It was really just because there were many people and it was convenient. They wouldn’t dare call the police anyway.

Nakahara Chuuya: Second question: The architectural style represents a modified Chinese style, symbolizing the Nameless Organization’s recognition of Yunxi’s identity and the collision and fusion between cultures.

Yunxi added again: It was because the Nameless Organization couldn’t recruit any Chinese construction workers at the time.

Nakahara Chuuya: Third question: The reason one section of the stone tablet was left blank, just like the name ‘Nameless Organization,’ represents all possible futures.

Yunxi added for the third time: It was clearly because Mimic was too shy and refused to have their name written on it. Whenever Lao Chou wrote it, they’d secretly file it off with a grinder. Lao Chou would write it again, and they’d file it off again. Lao Chou eventually stopped writing it altogether for fear they’d grind straight through the middle of the stone tablet.

Nakahara Chuuya: .

For the first time, Nakahara Chuuya felt such intense anger toward Yunxi. He activated his special ability and drove both Yunxi and Gogol away.

Verlaine would have liked to talk with Yunxi a bit longer, but Yunxi had already grown strong enough to no longer need his protection. Moreover, Verlaine was genuinely impatient with the Clown around Yunxi, even though the Clown had protected Yunxi many times.

Most importantly, Verlaine finally realized that Nakahara Chuuya seemed unable to solve these newly released questions bearing Yunxi’s name.

How could this be?!

As for Verlaine soon discovering how insidious these questions truly were and briefly considering whether to try becoming a question setter himself—that would come later.

But none of that mattered now, because at this moment, Yunxi and Gogol had already left China.

Where to next… Yunxi rolled over, resting his shoulder on Gogol. He tapped his phone screen and found that this world seemed to have nothing interesting left to offer.

Suddenly, Yunxi thought of something: Hey Korya, do you want to come with me to my world right now!

Gogol’s sparkling heterochromatic eyes shifted: Hmm… The Clown has no objections, but does little Yunxi already have a method?

Of course! Yunxi was the great Savior, a powerful being who had awakened the special ability [Scales of Fate] that could reap benefits from the entire world!

But words alone weren’t proof, so Yunxi simply logged out of the game directly.

Then, he raised his hand toward the nearby Holographic Pod: Special ability, [Scales of Fate].

[Scales of Fate judging… Scales of Fate judgment successful!]

[Character: Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol Yanovsky is crossing worlds… Cross-world countdown: 03 minutes 00 seconds.]

[Game panel reminds you that your operation violates regulations, but your status as your world’s World Cornerstone compensates for this perfectly!]

Bang!

Even at this moment, Yunxi still instinctively punched the Otherworld consciousness behind the game panel and commanded:

Stop showing off, speak normally!

[…]

[(Fireworks)(Fireworks) Congratulations, Savior Master, for triggering the shortcut key to use Scales of Fate to bring your spouse across worlds! You won’t need to go through such troublesome operations in the future!]

[Wishing the Savior and the Savior’s spouse smooth journeys ahead, eternal safety, boundless blessings and longevity!
