Chapter 19: Wanting to Laugh But Unable, Wanting to Cry But Tears Won’t Come…

The next day, Yunxi appeared before the base of this mafia organization.

He appeared relaxed, his tone calm and demeanor natural: “Please abandon your base and surrender.
The mafia members: ???

Small artillery shells were fired toward the youth, yet they ended up exploding among the mafia members themselves.

“Boom!
Everyone: !

Even with their terrible shooting skills, it couldn’t be this bad! Why did this happen?

“I get it! The opponent must be an Esper who can reverse damage!
As soon as these words were spoken, someone immediately pointed their gun at themselves.

And then there was no “and then.
Before others could even grieve, the base began sinking inch by inch.

Amid the continuous rumbling, the youth repeated: “Please abandon your base and surrender.
The mafia members: !!!

They really didn’t want to surrender… but their attacks were useless!

Most crucially! If the base kept sinking, the other party could simply bury them alive!

Surrender! They must surrender!

And so, by having Gogol redirect the bullets for him and transfer his fingertips underground to forcibly displace the [Earth] beneath the mafia organization’s base, Yunxi painlessly acquired a fairly decent mafia organization.

Since Gogol disliked performances that didn’t allow for improvisation, Yunxi proceeded to hold a mobilization meeting alone.

Disobedience was acceptable—then Qin Shi Huang would simply have to bury you alive.

Of course, some didn’t understand. For these people, Yunxi used more straightforward and somewhat crude language:

“You can’t beat me. So, either work with me, or get beaten by me. Choose one.
The mafia members: !!!

Most of these mafia members weren’t highly educated and were terrified by Yunxi’s words, immediately choosing to submit. From then on, they worked exceptionally hard for Yunxi.

After several days of observation, Yunxi finally handed over the weapons he had stolen from the Port Mafia to these mafia members.

Then, in this small country with its sparse population and few Espers, on a certain night, all of Yunxi’s mafia forces launched a full-scale attack.

They were fired up, growing more courageous with each battle. The slightly educated shouted, “Follow the True Monarch Qin Shi Huang, wield endless weapons, strike once to pierce the long night, strike twice to illuminate eternity, while the less educated yelled phrases they’d picked up from others like, “Those who slander the BOSS in public and reach the BOSS’s ears will be punished no matter how far, rapidly taking control of the entire underworld.

Upon hearing the good news, Yunxi casually praised those who had contributed the most and, amid everyone’s anticipation, arbitrarily named the organization [Nameless] before sending them away.

With the underworld secured, it was time to clean up the world under the sun as well.

Every day, Yunxi would wake up, stick on a small mustache, and use his still-remarkable charm (even in disguise) to deliver subversive speeches at various beer halls throughout this small European country.

Yunxi spoke of nothing but comm|unism, dedicating his limited life to the endless movement of liberating all people. After the cultural gatherings came the rough-and-tumble sessions, where Yunxi would use the crudest language to stir everyone’s anger—for instance, claiming that happiness in the world is conserved: if you work hard without reward, some bastard must be enjoying life on your behalf…

He spoke with such fervor that everyone’s blood boiled, itching to take up the weapons of rev|olution right then and there.

And what came next?

If anyone showed interest, Yunxi would coerce them after the event ended. Those willing to plunge into the underworld joined Yunxi’s mafia family; those unwilling were handed over to the local gov|ernment.

Settling privately was also an option—but only for a Rolls-Royce.

Unfortunately, there were too few who chose to stand firm or pay their way out. These people seemed to think the Nameless Organization was the stronghold of their reaction|ary cause, and before Yunxi could even finish his threats, they eagerly agreed, even dragging in all their friends and relatives.

As the organization grew, Yunxi’s stockpile of firearms became less abundant than before, and the organization’s cafeteria was struggling to put food on the table.

Yunxi: …

He’d really recruited a bunch of high-maintenance freeloaders.

Fortunately, even the occasional few who stood firm or paid privately were more than enough.

Thus, Yunxi built good relations with the local gov|ernment, amassed substantial wealth, and the Nameless Organization’s scale became increasingly absurd.

Only when he was certain that a single rallying cry from him would mobilize everyone in this small nation did Yunxi finally feel at ease. He began gathering the intelligence Fyodor wanted and, after verifying it, handed it all over in one go.

Fyodor: .

His goal had been to use these small organizations to indirectly connect with larger ones, but now Yunxi had unified them and executed all the people he intended to exploit as traitors. What use was this intelligence to him now?

Fyodor was exasperated, but giving up on using Yunxi was not an option he could accept.

So Fyodor offered various incentives as bargaining chips, compelling Yunxi to carry out numerous tasks for him.

Yunxi grew increasingly irritable with each assignment until, finally, he decided to prioritize his own desires, temporarily sidelining Fyodor.

Yunxi traveled all over Europe, repeatedly mortgaging the Nameless Organization to swindle substantial funds and valuable assets out of thin air.

Then, on the eve of the impending collapse from his repeated debt-dodging schemes, Yunxi summoned all full-time members of the Nameless Organization to formally announce one thing.

“If anyone has questions, raise your hand now!”

A Chinese member—a low-level mafioso whom Yunxi had saved multiple times due to his lack of strength—raised his hand.

Yunxi responded by firing a shot that grazed the man’s fingertips, startling him into yanking his hand back at lightning speed.

“Good, now no one has questions.” Yunxi blew on the steaming gun barrel. “Your former Boss here is leaving soon. Everyone who’s free, go gather firearms and surrender them all to me…”

The Chinese man shouted, “Boss, I have a question! What’s our new Boss’s name?”

Yunxi: ?

Yunxi had long forgotten Fyodor’s full name, but his backpack contained items like [A Small Amount of Intelligence from Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky] ×1, all clearly labeled with the name.

In theory, Yunxi could have recited it.

But Fyodor’s full name was too long and difficult to pronounce, and Yunxi was simply too lazy. Just using “Fyodoralso carried a high risk of name duplication.

Yunxi glanced over it and noticed the last segment of Fyodor’s name had seven characters, so he declared: “The new boss’s name is ‘Yuan Lai Kai Shi Xi Huan Ni’.
Seven characters—close enough.

The mafias present: ?

What does that mean?

The Chinese person who asked: …………

He wanted to laugh but couldn’t, wanted to cry but couldn’t shed tears, wanted to talk to someone but had no one to confide in… Hold it in, hold it in!

In any case, even though the mafias of this organization tried everything to persuade him to stay, Yunxi firmly chose to leave.

Just kidding, if he didn’t leave now, would the player ever have another chance?

The player had previously, in order to secure loans, even made promises like “I’ll pluck the stars for you, I’ll pluck the moon for you”!!!

However, while leaving the organization with bags packed, Yunxi finally remembered to inform Fyodor:

“I’ve transferred the Nameless Organization to you, and I’ve already trained my underlings… Anyway! Fyodor, you’ve inherited everything from me, so do whatever you want!
Fyodor: .

He was already busy enough.

Now, taking over an entire organization made him even busier.

Fyodor was so overwhelmed he lost track of time and space. Figuring out how to brainwash these red-brained mafias into becoming members of the Rats in the House of the Dead became the most difficult problem he had faced in years.

After countless failed attempts at collective brainwashing, Fyodor decided not to waste any more time and directly assigned tasks.

After Fyodor adopted this approach, the people of the Nameless Organization became useful again.

But soon, Fyodor was approached by the organizations that had previously lent money to Yunxi.

“Hand over the organization! Or pay back the money!!!
Fyodor: ?

Fyodor asked Yunxi and received the reply: [That’s right, I did borrow money, but when I borrowed from them, I used the Nameless Organization as collateral. What does that have to do with the Rats in the House of the Dead? Just ignore them.]

Fyodor: .

If Yunxi were to show his real identity in those organizations’ territories now, he probably wouldn’t even be able to board a green train, right?

But considering how frantic the other organizations had become, Fyodor transferred a large sum from his own account to barely placate them.

With the old problem resolved, a new one emerged.

The chaos caused by the previous organizations’ massive debt-collecting efforts was too great, and chaos often leads to the leakage of large amounts of information.

Fyodor anxiously bit his nails, staring intently at the screen as he conducted a carpet-style search across various dark webs for information about Yunxi.

“Yunxi-kun’s information can’t be leaked this early… Tch, found it.
Fyodor clicked on it and decisively purchased the information.

Before dealing with the source, he wanted to see it for himself.

[The newly risen Nameless Organization in Europe has officially been renamed Rats in the House of the Dead. The BOSS has been changed from Qin Shi Huang to Yuan Lai Kai Shi Xi Huan Ni.]

Fyodor: ???

Fyodor had already found it absurd when the debt collectors showed up, but now, he felt this absurdity was beyond words.

Still, Fyodor didn’t immediately start investigating the seller. He chose to exit first and check others’ comments.

This intelligence product only had two reviews in total: one saying “[See for yourself if this is shady…]and another stating “[Keep posting this kind of stuff on the dark web and I’ll have someone deal with you (smile)].
The seller responded to them with: “[Don’t leave messy comments in my review section]and “[Truth be told, the old boss was Qin Shi Huang, the new boss is Four-Leaf Clover. Take it or leave it].
Watching these lines, the smile on Fyodor’s face cracked bit by bit.

“Very good, very good,” Fyodor nearly laughed in anger. “Yunxi-kun’s way of safeguarding secrets is even better than the Rats in the House of the Dead.”

I wonder how Yunxi himself would feel if he saw this intelligence!
