I Became Famous After I Became a Parrot in the Movie Star's House - Extra Chapter 8
Dear Readers,
Due to a temporary website issue, starting around April 3, all novels started before January 2025 will be temporarily moved to the drafts folder for approximately 3–4 weeks. Unfortunately, this novel is included in that list.
In the meantime, I will be uploading the latest advance chapters to my Ko-fi account for my supporters. Regular updates will resume as soon as the site allows.
Thank you for your patience and support!
Numb. Completely numb.
And not emotionally, but in the literal sense—localized swelling.
The next morning, Bai Gaoxing stands in front of the bathroom mirror, carefully examining his lips. They don’t exactly look swollen, but they also aren’t not swollen.
This must be the aftereffect of too much kissing last night…
He looks left and right, unsure if it’s just in his head. It seems obvious, yet not obvious at the same time.
As Li Pu passes by the doorway, he sees his lover staring into the mirror from different angles and immediately chuckles. “What’s wrong?”
This scene reminds him of when Bai Gaoxing is still a parrot. Back then, Dabai loves looking at mirrors. Li Pu assumes it’s simple curiosity, but now he realizes it’s more likely disbelief at having turned into a parrot in the first place.
“Look, does it look different than usual?” Bai Gaoxing points at his lips, gazing at him expectantly.
Li Pu’s eyes land on those crimson lips. Bai Gaoxing’s naturally fair skin always makes his lips stand out, making his teeth look even whiter in contrast. Now… it doesn’t seem that different?
“No.” Li Pu examines them carefully before confirming.
So, it’s just his imagination.
Bai Gaoxing blinks at the mirror, then turns on the faucet and splashes his face with cool water.
Today’s scheduled activity for the show is feeding seabirds at Haixin Plaza. Haixin Plaza is a famous tourist attraction in the resort, perched atop a massive rock formation, jutting out the furthest over the vast and deep ocean below.
From this vantage point, people can get incredibly close to the seabirds, practically within arm’s reach.
“Since this place gets a lot of visitors, the seagulls here are hardly afraid of humans. The bolder ones will even come right up to ask for food,” the host introduces enthusiastically. “You’ll get to interact with the seabirds up close and experience the most authentic local charm—or should I say, seabird charm?”
“This is so fun,” Jiang Qingying marvels before turning to Bai Gaoxing. “Xiaobai, can you see seagulls from the fishing platform too?”
Bai Gaoxing is lost in thought, staring up at the sky. It takes him a few seconds to respond. “Yeah, there are a lot in the morning.”
Not just a lot—an absolute swarm.
A lot of them… and they’re very noisy.
Almost as noisy as they are right now.
Bai Gaoxing almost cracks his mask of composure. If the Seabird Fishing Platform is like a bustling morning market, then this place is Grand Central Station during the Spring Festival travel rush.
“Hey, guys! Let’s get some fries at the pier~~~”
“Report! Report! Human spotted! Attack in three seconds!”
“What’s the relationship between humans and fries?”
A cacophony of voices overlaps, near and far, up and down, surrounding him in full-on 3D surround sound—practically an auditory assault.
What now? Can he back out of this segment?
The camera captures his dazed expression in full, and the sharp-eyed viewers watching closely immediately notice something is off.
【Xiaobai doesn’t look too lively, does he?】
【Oh no, did they do something naughty last night?】
【Cough cough, that can’t be, right? They’re still on a show!】
【Didn’t anyone else notice Xiaobai’s lips look a little red…? I still remember how Teacher Li turned the camera away last night!】
【Right?! I thought they looked a little swollen too! So it wasn’t just my imagination!】
【Ahhhhh stop it, I can already picture it TUT】
【What picture? Let me see, let me see [dog head emoji]】
On-screen, Bai Gaoxing’s gaze is unfocused, lost somewhere in the distance. He stares at the seagulls, lips pressed together, his expression seemingly uneasy.
【Hey, Xiaobai’s expression… he doesn’t seem too happy?】
【Is it too hot? Or did he not sleep well last night?】
【Wait… could Xiaobai be afraid of birds?】
Speculations run wild.
In truth, Bai Gaoxing is overwhelmed.
It’s so loud. So unbearably loud. Loud enough to drown out human speech!
He is genuinely worried that, in the chaos, he might accidentally respond to the seagulls instead of the other guests—wouldn’t that make him look completely insane?
Li Pu has also noticed something is off and leans in to ask quietly, “You can hear them talking?”
The sight of the two of them huddled together looks incredibly sweet, and the audience simply assumes Li Pu is chatting with his beloved.
The livestream chat immediately fills with teasing:
【Teacher Li is so clingy, lol.】
Bai Gaoxing gives Li Pu a helpless look, then murmurs, avoiding the cameras, “There are too many of them. I’m seriously afraid I’ll mix up what the birds and the guests are saying.”
Li Pu falls silent.
Yeah, that is a real problem.
So, when the host announces free activity time, Li Pu immediately leads Bai Gaoxing away from the main crowd to a quieter spot, further from the seagulls.
“Eh? Where are they going? They’re almost out of frame,” Director Ning frowns at the live feed. “Keep an eye on them—call them back if they go too far.”
Meanwhile, Bai Gaoxing sits in a daze, trying to mentally tune everything out, attempting to hypnotize his own ears into not hearing anything at all.
But it’s so hard.
Not far away, Jiang Qingying and Wen Wenhao are tossing small bread pieces and bird feed. A seagull swoops down from above, snatching the food mid-air and shouting—
“Got it! FRIIIESSSS~”
Pfft.
Bai Gaoxing can’t hold back his laughter, making Li Pu turn to look at him, smiling as well.
Unlike the other guests, who are all holding food to feed the birds, in their pair, Li Pu is the only one carrying any snacks.
Bai Gaoxing listens as one seagull after another chirps out, “Thanks, bro!” and “What is the meaning of existence?” until he finally breaks down and responds in bird language—
“Bro, why don’t you guys go eat over there instead?”
As soon as the words leave his mouth, all the birds—those flying in the sky, perching on the railings, and standing on the ground—turn their heads toward him.
In perfect sync.
Bai Gaoxing feels a chill run down his spine and takes two steps further into the corner.
“Did I hear that right?”
“Did I hear that right?”
“He can talk to us.”
“This person understands what we’re saying.”
“Is he one of us, or is he human?”
“No idea. I’ve never seen anyone like this before. Do people like this even exist?”
The seagulls whisper to each other in loud voices, emboldened by the fact that humans can’t understand their bird chatter. Then, suddenly, one of them takes flight, followed by the rest. The air fills with the sound of flapping wings as they swirl around the square in a spiraling formation.
Their gray and white silhouettes cast moving shadows across the crowd, creating a breathtaking spectacle.
The camera crew also notices the sudden commotion among the birds, and the lens shifts just in time to capture both Li Pu and Bai Gaoxing at the center of the scene.
Bai Gaoxing also spots the camera in the distance and hurriedly raises his hands, pretending to feed the birds.
The next second, something shocking happens.
A large seagull flaps its wings and flies straight toward Bai Gaoxing. After circling him a few times, it lands directly on his outstretched hand.
Not only is Bai Gaoxing himself stunned, but even the production team, who has been closely monitoring them, is equally shocked.
It’s not unheard of for seagulls to approach people for food, but they usually snatch it and take off immediately. Even wild birds familiar with humans maintain a degree of wariness. Who would have expected one to land on him of its own accord?
As the camera zooms in, the attention of the other guests shifts toward them. Bai Gaoxing suppresses the urge to shake the seagull off and whispers, “What are you doing here? Get off!”
The seagull cranes its neck to look at him. “You really can talk?” Then, it turns its head toward the sky. “This guy is amazing! Everyone, come take a look!”
That sentence seems to trigger something.
A flood of seagulls immediately flocks toward Bai Gaoxing.
The sight of their widespread wings creates an overwhelming visual impact. Bai Gaoxing stands frozen as numerous curious seagulls land at his feet. One perches on his wrist, locking eyes with him.
Beneath the cloudless sky, beside the vast, roaring ocean, the sunlight illuminates Bai Gaoxing’s pure white hair, making it shimmer. The wind gently lifts his strands as he stands still, his dark pupils reflecting the sea of gray and white birds. His expression is calm and focused.
This entire scene is captured perfectly by the production team, and countless viewers in the live stream take screenshots, flooding the internet with them.
【This scene is unreal! Is this a magazine photoshoot?】
【Tell me this isn’t CGI from the production team!】
【Are those really seagulls???】
【It’s like feeding pigeons in a plaza… but oh my god, these seagulls are way too attached to Xiaobai!】
【Aaaaah no wonder Bai looked like he wanted to run earlier! He must know he attracts birds like crazy, hahaha!】
At this moment, Bai Gaoxing has never felt more like a walking spectacle in his life.
He only said one sentence! Why are the seagulls so curious and friendly?!
But with the cameras rolling, he has no choice but to keep up appearances. He awkwardly pushes a piece of bread toward the seagull on his hand, silently pleading: Please, just take it and leave!
Perhaps his micro-expressions and restrained movements are too obvious, because Li Pu suddenly approaches, smiling, and leans in as if interested. His presence alone is enough to startle the seagulls.
With a loud flutter, the birds take off all at once, vanishing into the sky in the blink of an eye.
The previous scene feels almost like a dream.
The other guests blink in disbelief, with some even rubbing their eyes to make sure they weren’t imagining things.
“I think I scared them off,” a voice beside him chuckles. Bai Gaoxing turns his head to see Li Pu looking at him with a feigned expression of regret.
Li Pu glances around. “Should we move somewhere else?”
Bai Gaoxing immediately picks up on Li Pu’s attempt to help him out of the situation and nods quickly, following him away.
【Hahaha, Li Pu, look at what you’ve done!】
【Better than a scarecrow! Li Pu, the ultimate bird deterrent!】
Jiang Qingying walks over in amazement. “Oh my god, how did you do that? They actually landed on you!”
She had just tried to pet one and failed! Jiang Qingying is envious, staring at him eagerly, hoping he can do it again.
Bai Gaoxing: No way. Not happening!
For the rest of the time, thanks to Li Pu sticking close to him and even helping him feed the seagulls, the birds only dare to chatter from a distance, no longer swarming around him.
Bai Gaoxing lets out a long sigh of relief, comfortably leaning against Li Pu as they stand on the bridge, their silhouettes forming a peaceful, harmonious scene.
【Hehe, so cozy~】
This episode of Our Romantic Trip features three stops, all within the coastal city.
Aside from their main lodging at the Golden Beach Resort, the itinerary also includes an aquarium and a water park.
On the new day, the four groups of guests board an air-conditioned bus to their next destination.
The tasks at the aquarium remain lighthearted and fun. Each pair follows a designated route, taking photos along the way, and in the end, they must find a specific animal assigned to them and take a commemorative picture.
Since it’s the weekend, the place is packed with visitors. Even from the entrance, they can see the crowds inside. The guests gather with their mission cards, preparing to set off.
“Sis Yanyan got a polar bear. I have a beluga whale. What about Brother Ming and Xiaobai?” Jiang Qingying asks curiously.
“Let me see… Sea lions,” Song Ming replies.
“And mine is… Penguins?!” Bai Gaoxing’s eyes widen, his voice filled with disbelief.
His luck is too uncanny. Even at an aquarium, he gets assigned birds.
“What’s wrong with penguins?”
“Uh…” Bai Gaoxing hesitates. “Penguins are cute. I like them.”
【Hahaha, just realized penguins are birds too!】
【Will Xiaobai get surrounded by penguins this time? Looking forward to it.】
【Penguins are great! I heard they have Adélie penguins here.】
(Translator’s Notes:Adélie penguins are a species of penguin native to Antarctica. They are known for their tuxedo-like black-and-white plumage and their feisty personalities. )
Bai Gaoxing sneaks a whisper to Li Pu, “This time, I absolutely refuse to talk to the penguins.”
Li Pu looks at the card. “Want to swap with someone?”
Bai Gaoxing glances at the other three groups, all of whom seem excited about their assignments. He shakes his head. “No need. It’s the last stop anyway.”
It’s just a bit of noise—he can endure it.
Bai Gaoxing looks at the map. “First, we go through the underwater tunnel, then to the Beluga Whale Pavilion… there’s too much to see. Let’s take it one step at a time!”
“Alright.” Li Pu responds, taking his hand. “There are a lot of people inside, stay close to me.”
Feeling a little embarrassed, Bai Gaoxing walks through the entrance with Li Pu’s warm palm wrapped around his own, catching curious and delighted glances from the surrounding visitors. It’s only after noticing several couples also holding hands that the warmth on his face subsides a bit.
They are a legally married couple! Legal! Bai Gaoxing hypnotizes himself with this thought, unable to resist glancing at Li Pu walking ahead.
Even after two years of marriage, he still finds himself momentarily dazzled by Li Pu’s face. He thinks back—back when he was still a parrot, he had already been struck by how handsome Li Pu was.
With that thought, Bai Gaoxing quickens his steps to walk beside Li Pu, looking at him with growing fondness.
Li Pu eventually notices his gaze and mouths, “What’s wrong?”
Bai Gaoxing takes advantage of the dim tunnel lighting to slightly withdraw his hand, slipping his fingers between Li Pu’s to interlock them.
Li Pu responds by tightening his grip.
The lighting in the underwater world is always soft, mimicking the natural environment of marine creatures. This casts a slightly darker hue over human figures, making Bai Gaoxing and Li Pu less conspicuous in the crowd.
They stroll along with the visitors, surrounded by vast, boundless water. Vibrant fish swim overhead and past their eyes, shimmering ripples of light reflecting in their pupils and across their faces, leaving dazzling trails in their wake.
【! This aquarium is huge! I’m definitely visiting when I take my vacation!】
【The lighting is a bit dim, but it doesn’t stop me from watching them hold hands, hehe~】
【There are already tourists posting photos of them on Weibo. So many candid shots in the trending topics, hahaha.】
The cameraman follows behind Li Pu and Bai Gaoxing. Many people notice the setup and quickly recognize them.
After exiting the underwater tunnel, they visit the Jellyfish House first, followed by the Dolphin Pavilion, and then take a turn toward the Coral Reef Exhibit. Along the way, they run into Tang Yuan and Song Ming, who are also visiting the reef. The four take a group photo before waving goodbye.
“We’re finally getting to the Penguin Exhibit…” Bai Gaoxing sighs as he looks at the photos on his phone. So far, they’ve seen floating, translucent jellyfish, lively and interactive dolphins, vibrantly colored reef fish, gentle sea turtles, and at least three types of sharks… Up next is their final goal of the day—penguins.
“Should I go in first?” Li Pu rests his hand on the curtain at the entrance.
“Let’s go in together.” Bai Gaoxing tightens his grip. “Feels like opening a mystery box…”
He’s seen countless birds in daily life—sparrows, doves, and magpies, each with their own distinct personalities: sharp, clueless, or grumpy. But the seagulls in Haishi were like unlocking a whole new encyclopedia—some looked like great philosophers, others like mystical onmyoji. The ocean truly lived up to its name, capable of nurturing the most bizarre creatures.
(Translator’s Notes: Onmyoji (陰陽師) were practitioners of onmyōdō (陰陽道), a form of Japanese esoteric cosmology that blended elements of Chinese Yin-Yang theory, Taoism, Buddhism, and Shinto. They were government officials and spiritual advisors who specialized in divination, exorcism, and controlling spirits. )
Inside the Penguin Exhibit, the crowd is moderate. Some visitors purchase small buckets of fish to feed the penguins under the guidance of the keepers.
Bai Gaoxing pauses to listen and hears the following:
“I want fish.”
“I want fish QAQ.”
“I want fish, I want fish, I want fish.”
The monotone, mechanical voices sound like wind-up toys, perfectly synchronized with no variation in tone, making them unintentionally hilarious. Bai Gaoxing can’t help but burst out laughing, drawing Li Pu’s attention.
Li Pu glances over and smiles, asking, “What did they say this time?”
Bai Gaoxing waves him over and whispers the three words into his ear.
By the time the cameraman realizes he missed a prime shot of the two whispering intimately, they have already separated, standing quietly by the railing.
Two days later, the program crew arrives at the water park.
It is then that Bai Gaoxing realizes an unresolved problem.
…Li Pu’s bite marks.
They’ve faded, but not completely.
The soon-to-disappear bruises leave faint traces of dark red. If it were just one, it could be explained away as an accidental bump, but with four perfectly aligned on the top and another four on the bottom, totaling eight…
Anyone with a clue would immediately know what happened.
Naturally, the best solution is to keep his shirt on at all costs.
Water coasters, water slides, wave pools… every attraction in the water park involves getting soaked, with raincoats being utterly useless. As the men finish playing, they strip off their drenched shirts—except for Li Pu and Bai Gaoxing.
By the vast poolside, the two sit wrapped in their soaked clothes, drying their hair with towels while casually sipping cold drinks.
【I have to say, this is the segment I was looking forward to the most.】
【What a feast for the eyes. The male guests all have amazing physiques!】
【When the water hit just now, I got a glimpse of Bai Gaoxing’s waist—I’m speechless.】
【Li Pu’s physique… slurp Wrapped up, he somehow looks even better.】
【Take it off! Why aren’t you two taking it off?!】
【Them: “Only I get to see my partner’s body!”】
Bai Gaoxing tugs at his wet clothes and clears his throat. Mainly, he doesn’t want Li Pu to be the only one standing out—it would make him too conspicuous.
By the time their day at the water park finally comes to an end, the eight guests sit together under a shaded pavilion.
Jiang Qingying is the first to sigh, “Time flies too fast.”
“We still have over a week left. You’ll be reluctant when the time comes too,” Duan Yan laughs.
“I remember Xiaobai still has summer break, right?” Song Ming asks. “When does school start?”
“Hey, hey, don’t bring that up—it’s a buzzkill.” Wen Wenhao chimes in with a smile.
“Yeah.” Bai Gaoxing sighs helplessly. “School starts in early September, so I have just over a month left.”
Song Ming chuckles. “Jiangcheng University’s summer break isn’t very long, but their winter break is way longer than other schools.”
He sounds like he knows a lot. Bai Gaoxing looks at Song Ming curiously, only for Tang Yuan to point and say, “He’s your senior.”
Bai Gaoxing is stunned. He only knows Song Ming is a top student—he has no idea they are alumni.
What a coincidence!
“What was your major, Brother Song?” Bai Gaoxing asks curiously.
Song Ming adjusts his glasses. “Mathematics.”
Bai Gaoxing gets a strange feeling. “Then Professor Ren…”
Song Ming gives him a surprised look, as if to say, How do you know him? “He’s my graduate advisor.”
Well then, turns out they are all acquaintances.
Bai Gaoxing marvels at how small the world is, and then he hears Song Ming say, “Professor Ren once told me about a student with the surname Bai who was pretty good at math. He originally wanted to recruit him to study mathematics…”
The two of them laugh—it really is such a coincidence.
Before long, Director Ning comes over and waves a hand. “Today’s activities are over! Feel free to explore!”
Even though they are free to roam, the livestream continues.
The cameramen follow their assigned guests, and the four livestream feeds broadcast the stunning night scenes of Haishi from different locations.
Haishi is a city rich in nightlife. Wherever they go, they see bright lights and open shopping malls. Bai Gaoxing holds onto Lei Li as they stroll under the streetlights. The warmth of their skin touching seems to heat up the air itself. The sea breeze stirs, ruffling their hair and igniting their eager emotions.
By 9:30, the livestream ends, and the chat rooms fall into silence.
Standing on a bridge, they gaze at the neon lights in the distance when suddenly, Bai Gaoxing’s vision blurs, and something cool touches his forehead.
It’s raining.
“We should head back quickly, or we’ll be soaked again,” Bai Gaoxing says, but he doesn’t move as he speaks. Instead, he turns toward Li Pu.
Li Pu tightens his grip on Bai Gaoxing’s hand and gently brushes away the damp strands sticking to his forehead.
“I love you.” Taking advantage of the crashing waves beneath the bridge, Bai Gaoxing stands on his toes and whispers into Li Pu’s ear.
The breath of his words grazes Li Pu’s ear, making his throat tighten. His gaze toward Bai Gaoxing grows deeper.
His little parrot is always shy about expressing his feelings, yet now, he speaks so openly and directly. The surge of emotions and warmth within Lei Li is indescribable.
Li Pu cradles Bai Gaoxing’s face, brushing a kiss over his forehead, then his nose, and finally pausing near his lips. “Say it once again.”
Bai Gaoxing smiles, his eyes curving into crescents. Just once? Even if it were a hundred times, a thousand times, he wouldn’t mind.
“I love you. I love you, I love you, I love—mmph…”
Under the light drizzle, on a secluded bridge, the two kiss, their silhouettes merging under the streetlights, quietly dissolving into the night.
Farther away, Director Ning props her chin on her hand, lamenting, “Such a perfect moment, and it had to happen after 9:30.” She waves a hand. “Alright, wrap it up. Who’s going to fetch them to the car?”
In the end, a fight still breaks out.
Our Romantic Tripis nearing its end. Today, the guests will board the bus back home.
But before that, the production team has arranged a final farewell lunch.
Early in the morning, Li Pu is woken up by the sound of birds.
That’s surprising. After more than ten days of staying here, he has grown accustomed to the morning cries of seabirds at the fishing dock. This isn’t anything unusual.
But what startles him awake is the fact that this particular bird call sounds exactly like Dabai.
Li Pu sits up in bed and glances to the side—the bed is empty. He reaches out and touches it; the sheets are already cold.
That means Bai Gaoxing has been up for quite some time, which is even more surprising. Throughout the entire trip, Bai Gaoxing has never once woken up earlier than him.
Suspicious.
With a doubtful heart, Li Pu throws on a jacket and steps outside, following the sound to the rocks behind the cabin.
…Feathers everywhere.
There’s no better way to describe the scene.
The rocks, the sea surface—white feathers scatter all around. A snow-white parrot and a gray seagull are locked in a fierce brawl, neither willing to back down.
And they are being very loud about it.
“Gah gah gah gah gah!”
“Oo oo oo oo oo!”
Li Pu feels a headache coming on. He glances toward the distance and, sure enough, the camera has already been turned away—its lens no longer pointed in this direction.
Looks like someone planned ahead.
White feathers flutter down from both birds, making it impossible to tell whose is whose. The scene is absolutely chaotic.
Worried for his lover—especially concerned that Bai Gaoxing might go bald when he transforms back—Li Pu walks over. “Dabai!”
The parrot peeks out its head, pinning the seagull by the neck with its claws while flapping its wings. “Gah gah gah!”
Li Pu crouches down. “What are you saying?”
The parrot clears its throat. “I said, I won!”
Li Pu sighs. “Why were you fighting?”
At the mention of this, Bai Gaoxing grows indignant. “I figured since we’re leaving today, I’d feed them some bread, so I put the bag down for a second. Then this seagull grabbed it and tried to fly off! Good thing I was quick and caught it.”
Saying that, Bai Gaoxing turns back to the seagull and lets out another string of sharp squawks.
Still trying to run?
The seagull: “Oo oo oo~”
Li Pu: “…What did it say?”
Bai Gaoxing glances at the seagull and mimics a few more squawks before clearing his throat. “Ahem. It says, ‘Big brother, I was wrong.’”
The seagull’s eyes widen.
That is not what it said.
It had said, Fighting is wrong!
Never before has Li Pu seen such disbelief on a seagull’s face—it is truly tragic.
Bai Gaoxing loosens his grip on its neck. “Alright, be a good seagull from now on. Off you go.”
The seagull lets out a mournful woo woo before flapping its wings and flying away.
With the fight over, Bai Gaoxing shifts back into a human.
He sits casually on the ground, his fair skin starkly contrasting against the dark-colored reef. The sight makes Li Pu’s temple twitch.
“Oops, I accidentally changed back. Forgot I wasn’t wearing any clothes.” Bai Gaoxing remembers that he stuffed his clothes into the cabinet by the door and chuckles at himself. “Should I change back into a bird?”
Li Pu swiftly takes off his jacket, wraps it around Bai Gaoxing, and pulls him into his arms—more accurately, he presses him against his chest to keep him from being caught on the wide-angle camera.
Bai Gaoxing happily leans into Li Pu, hugging his neck while waving goodbye to the seagull behind them.
“…And with that, our journey has come to a perfect conclusion. We hope that every day from now on, you can be with the ones you love. Be happy!”
With those final words, the host hands the camera over to the guests.
Jiang Qingying links arms with Wen Wenhao as they board the bus. Duan Yan and Gu Qian get into the company car that has come to pick them up. Tang Yuan and Song Ming, on the other hand, laugh and say they plan to stay in Haishi until the evening—they want to see if the rumored Blue Tears will appear over the sea.
Bai Gaoxing and Li Pu, since they are originally here for a vacation, will probably stay for a few more days.
One by one, the cars depart. As they watch their friends leave, the program’s livestream remains on. Director Ning smiles at them. “Do you have anything else you’d like to say? We’re still live.”
Bai Gaoxing stands in front of the camera, thinks for a moment, and says, “This trip has been a really happy experience for me. Thanks to the show, I got to see places I’d never seen before. It was a fresh and exciting experience. Everyone, please keep supporting the program!”
【Hahahaha, why does this sound like he’s reciting a promotional speech?】
【So official, Xiaobai!】
【Hahaha, how much did the production team pay you, Xiaobai?!】
“And what about you, Teacher Li?”
Li Pu steps closer, but when he notices a stray feather stuck to Bai Gaoxing’s eyelashes, he says nothing and simply leans in. “Don’t move.”
Bai Gaoxing instinctively turns his head, his eyes widening. He immediately raises his hand to cover his mouth.
That subconscious reaction speaks volumes about what these two usually do in private—no explanation is needed.
The comment section explodes.
【Teacher Li, you’re really proactive, huh? Hahaha~】
【It’s the ‘Stop kissing me, It’s going to get swollen’ reaction ahhhh!】
【Oooooh, I could watch this for a hundred more years!】
Blue seas, golden sands—for this vacation, the words that never get old are I love you.
Author’s Notes:
ヽ( ̄▽ ̄)/ The variety show has ended! There are still a few extra episodes coming up.
P.S.: I saw people mentioning forum-style extras. That’s doable! What kind of content do you guys want? Li Pu’s forum post black history or another topic? If no one has a specific request, I’ll write about Netizens guessing that Bai Gaoxing and Dabai are the same person.”
