“What? Chen Shu handed it over voluntarily? What does he mean by this? Does he not want to live anymore?”

“Luo Xiang said that as long as the diary is found, the police can distinguish the handwriting. Once they discover that the diary wasn’t written by Su Xiaoxiao, Chen Shu is finished!”

“Su Haoran left a few officers at home. Maybe Chen Shu knew he couldn’t hide it anymore and realized that Su Haoran was suspicious of him. So he handed it over to clear Su Haoran’s doubts?”

“Are you stupid? Even if Su Haoran stops suspecting him, it doesn’t matter. Once the handwriting in the diary is verified, he’s still done for!”

All the viewers were stunned. Chen Shu didn’t have the chance to destroy the diary. Logically, he would have tried to hide it. He should have held out for as long as possible.

Ideally, until the show ended!

But this guy didn’t play by the rules. He actually handed over the notebook voluntarily? What does that mean? Was it just to make Su Haoran trust him?

“Even though I don’t know what Chen Shu is planning, now that Su Xiaoxiao knows about it, she might finally realize that she was framed by him.”

“Haha, the siblings are about to turn against each other!”

“Honestly, Chen Shu handing over the diary like this is a brutal move. Su Xiaoxiao must be mentally collapsing right now.”

“So what? When Su Xiaoxiao turned herself in back then, did she ever consider Chen Shu’s feelings?”

“Yeah, I think Chen Shu made the right choice by abandoning Su Xiaoxiao. A criminal has to be ruthless!”

“To survive alone, you have to have this kind of determination. The perfect crime isn’t about how long you can hide it, it’s about making sure only you know the truth.

Inside the Interrogation Room. Su Haoran was briefly stunned after hearing the news.

“Haoran, did you hear that? Chen Shu handed it over voluntarily. Do you still suspect him? I told you not to be biased against him, he’s the only innocent one in this whole case!” Qin Min said.

“Alright,” Su Haoran sighed, nodding. “Looks like we really misunderstood him.”

Then, Wang Zheng turned to Su Xiaoxiao and said, “Just wait. The diary will be here soon. Let’s see how much longer you can argue.”

On camera, Su Xiaoxiao’s expression was blank. She still couldn’t understand what was happening.

Her brother voluntarily handed over the diary? What diary? What exactly was in that diary? Why was everyone saying it was written by her?

But she had no idea what they were talking about, she hadn’t even seen that diary before. And how did her brother get it?

A terrifying thought crossed Su Xiaoxiao’s mind, making her shiver. Was her brother framing her? No, no, no! Su Xiaoxiao shook her head. She couldn’t believe it!

“Goddess Su, don’t worry. Don’t be scared. You’ll be free soon, big hug!”

“Since Chen Shu handed it over himself, it means he couldn’t hide it anymore. Goddess Su, just wait for the truth to come out!”

“Ugh, Su Xiaoxiao looks so confused. I feel bad for her. If we weren’t watching this live and had the God’s-eye view, we’d be even more lost than her.”

“Yeah, even Luo Xiang said it, this is a foolproof method. The only way to solve the case is by analyzing the handwriting!”

“Woohoo, we finally get to see what’s inside the diary!”

Inside the Director’s Room, Zhang Sheng let out a deep breath. He believed that the biggest hero in this case was Su Haoran. He was the first to notice that Su Xiaoxiao hadn’t been assaulted, and he immediately led a team to arrest the suspect at Building 109 in the west suburbs.

That left Chen Shu with no chance to destroy the diary, and now, since Chen Shu had no way to get rid of it or hide it, he had no choice but to turn it in. Temporarily clearing himself of suspicion.

But only temporarily… once the forensic team analyzed the handwriting, the truth would be revealed. The diary wasn’t written by Su Xiaoxiao. And once that was confirmed, Chen Shu would be finished!

“Now, let’s see how exactly Chen Shu manipulated Zeng Zhiwei into committing murder through this diary.”

Zhang Sheng focused on the screen. Not long after, the door to the interrogation room opened. A police officer entered, holding a blue-covered diary in his hands.

“This is it, I remember this cover perfectly.”

“It’s here! I don’t even care about whether Chen Shu gets caught anymore. I just want to know what’s written inside!”

“Murder through a diary… Damn, just thinking about it makes my scalp tingle.”

“Even Luo Xiang was shocked by this method!”

“Su Xiaoxiao, do you recognize this diary?” Wang Zheng asked, holding up the book.

“I…” Su Xiaoxiao did recognize it, it was indeed her notebook. But she had always kept it in her drawer and had never touched it. “I recognize it, but…”

“No buts. Recognizing it is enough,” Wang Zheng cut her off. “This diary contains lies you made up to manipulate your father into committing murder, doesn’t it?” Wang Zheng laid out the accusation. He stared into Su Xiaoxiao’s eyes.

“No!” Su Xiaoxiao shook her head desperately. “Officer Wang, I don’t even know what’s written in that diary! How could I have manipulated my father to kill someone? And why would I want to kill my own father?”

“Why? Because your father had an unspeakable, twisted obsession with you. You wanted to break free from him, so you used his feelings against him, turning him into your puppet!”

“That’s the truth!” Wang Zheng stated it clearly, one word at a time.

“If I weren’t watching this entire thing live, I’d honestly think Captain Wang makes sense. This explanation is too logical!”

“Who even thinks of this kind of method?”

“Enough talking, just open the diary already!”

Facing Wang Zheng’s questioning, Su Xiaoxiao looked more lost than ever. What was he even talking about? None of this made any sense!

“Still playing innocent?” Wang Zheng shook her head. “Fine. You won’t admit it until you have no choice, huh?”

He placed the diary on the table. Immediately, the cameras in the interrogation room zoomed in, focusing entirely on the blue-covered notebook.

“Still pretending not to remember anything? Then let’s help you refresh your memory!”

With that, Wang Zheng flipped open the diary, he turned to the first page.
