“Captain Wang,” a police officer rushed in.

“What is it?” Captain Wang responded. Seated on both sides, Qin Min and Su Haoran also turned their attention to the officer. The show had already started filming, and the three of them were waiting for a report. Seeing the officer come in immediately sharpened their focus.

“We just received a report. A man claimed that his sister, Su Xiaoxiao, was kidnapped at Haicheng High School,” the officer said. “He’s already chased after them. The kidnappers are in Yonglong Mountain. We need to move out and capture them!”

What if it was a lie? If he went to the police station looking for a body and got caught, he’d be doomed. “Nice try, but I won’t fall for it,” Liang Wei muttered, faintly hearing police sirens from the foot of the mountain.

Without hesitation, he turned and fled into the forest.
