The filming crew immediately drove up the mountain. After they left, Zhang Sheng wiped the sweat from his forehead. He knew now, there was no way Chen Shu was going offline.

In the script for this episode, they had made sure to plan for his elimination. The plan was for Liang Wei to find the body and kill Su Xiaoxiao.

Liang Wei could have safely kidnapped Su Xiaoxiao first, forced Chen Shu to confess his crimes and reveal the body’s location, recorded it, and handed it to the police. That way, Chen Shu would be sent straight to prison.

The second step, after Chen Shu was arrested, Liang Wei would kill Su Xiaoxiao.

But Liang Wei got greedy, he tried to kill both siblings immediately, leaving no chance for the investigation team.

Parents and students outside the school saw everything. I’ve reported you to the police. Just wait to be arrested!”

“…What?” Liang Wei froze.

What the hell? This wasn’t how things were supposed to go!

“I won’t let you two get away with this!” Liang Wei cursed, his eyes darting toward the knife on the passenger seat.

If that’s how it was, then before the cops arrived, he’d just kill them both right here! But Chen Shu saw through his intent immediately. He dashed forward, grabbed the knife, and held it firmly.

“Brother, you can’t kill him,” Su Xiaoxiao warned. “We’ve made it this far, we can’t cause more trouble.”

Chen Shu nodded. He had no intention of killing Liang Wei here.

“If you don’t leave now, the police will lock down the mountain. You won’t even get the chance to run,” Chen Shu said, raising the knife.

Liang Wei had no choice. Gritting his teeth, he turned to run down the mountain, but before he could go far, Chen Shu suddenly called out.

Liang Wei turned back. “What now?”

He glanced at the knife in Chen Shu’s hand. He knew Chen Shu wouldn’t dare kill him, especially with so many witnesses at the school entrance.

If he died, Chen Shu would be the prime suspect.

Chen Shu smirked. “You want to know where your son’s body is?”

“Fine. I’ll tell you now.”
