“We haven’t even finished this episode. How can we start the next one?” Zhang Sheng rubbed his forehead.

“But the preview has already been released… and you were the one who said that amateur wouldn’t last four days…”

Hearing this, Zhang Sheng’s face darkened even more.

“The production team was so confident that the investigation team could solve the case in a few days. Looks like they played themselves.”

Not long after the cancellation announcement, Zhang Sheng’s phone started buzzing, he glanced at the caller ID. It was Liang Wei. Instantly, Zhang Sheng felt awkward.

He had personally promised Liang Wei that there wouldn’t be any more delays.

“Director Zhang, what the hell are you doing?” Liang Wei cut him off angrily. “Are you messing with me? You swore to me that the episode would wrap up tonight, but look at this, now that amateur got off scot-free!”

Through the camera on Su Xiaoxiao’s chest, the audience saw the familiar house and courtyard again. 

“Brother, can you answer my question now?” Su Xiaoxiao asked after Qin Min left.

Chen Shu nodded. “Come with me.”
