“Chen Shu: Since my sister was bullied and you turned a blind eye, I’ll make your child die in the womb! Let you feel the grief and rage of having a loved one hurt!”

Amidst the audience’s chatter, Su Xiaoxiao walked Chen Shu to the school gates.

She forced a smile and spoke deliberately, “Brother, I can handle what happened today on my own. Tonight I’ll go talk to Yamamoto Sakura myself, so you really don’t need to worry. Coming to the school to talk to the administration won’t get you anywhere, and as for teaching Yamamoto Sakura a lesson… don’t do it. I can handle my relationships with classmates myself!”

Hearing this, Chen Shu stood there in silence. After a long pause, he nodded. “Alright, sis. I’ll remember.”

Su Xiaoxiao waved, “You can go now.”

Chen Shu opened the side gate next to the security room.

Su Xiaoxiao headed toward the dormitory. It was evening self-study time, and the large campus was nearly empty. Her steps were slow, the lights stretching her shadow long across the ground as it trailed toward the dorm.

Eventually, she stopped in front of the girls’ dormitory entrance. She saw the security captain, who seemed to have been waiting for quite some time, glaring at her with sharp, piercing eyes. Immediately, Su Xiaoxiao turned and walked quickly toward a secluded grove on campus.

The so-called grove was just an undeveloped patch of school land, with twenty or thirty large trees. There was a gazebo and wooden benches inside, a place commonly known for campus couples to meet in secret.

Su Xiaoxiao stepped inside and suddenly stopped. Turning her head, she saw Liang Wei standing behind her. Under the light, his strong build loomed over her like a giant beast. Su Xiaoxiao swallowed hard and took two steps back.

“You deliberately lured me here?” Liang Wei ground his teeth, staring at this seemingly weak girl who held his secret. “So you really do know my secret!”

Su Xiaoxiao nodded, her voice trembling. “I… I know… But don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone…”

Liang Wei frowned. “Then why bring me here? Just to tell me that, so I’ll let my guard down?”

“No, that’s not it.” Su Xiaoxiao shook her head, standing frozen for a long moment before speaking again. “I can keep your secret… but you have to do me a favor.”

Liang Wei asked, “What favor?”

“Tonight… help me kill Yamamoto Sakura.”

“What?” Liang Wei’s eyes widened. He couldn’t believe that this frail, injured girl in front of him had just said such a thing.

“If you don’t help me, I’ll tell your secret to everyone. And don’t think you can silence me, I’ve already told my brother everything,” Su Xiaoxiao said nervously, lying through her teeth. 

She had to make Liang Wei the killer.

“Wow, Su Xiaoxiao’s learning to lie now.”

“Not gonna lie, this episode has changed my opinion of her. She’s finally stopped trying to win by doing nothing, she’s actually using her own methods to take down Yamamoto Sakura!”

“Haha, Liang Wei’s at a loss, getting blackmailed by a little girl.”

Smack! Enraged by her threat, Liang Wei grabbed Su Xiaoxiao by the neck and slammed her to the ground. “Su Xiaoxiao I’ve got no grudge against you! Why are you doing this? Remember, I was the one who took you in and let you wash up at my place. You ungrateful little brat!”

“My wife was right, you deserved to be bullied. Why didn’t Yamamoto Sakura just kill you?” Liang Wei was furious, he wanted to strangle her right then and there but he didn’t dare.

Cough, cough… Su Xiaoxiao clutched her throat. “Help me… and we’ll both have secrets on each other. That way, you’ll never have to worry about me stabbing you in the back. Am I right?”

Liang Wei calmed down. She was right. Even if she promised to keep quiet, as long as she was alive, he wouldn’t sleep easy. But now, if they both committed a crime, they’d be tied together.

Liang Wei let go. “Tonight, right?”

“Mm.”

“Alright, I’ll help you,” he agreed, then added, “But you have to do me a favor first. It’s simple and won’t take much effort. Once you’ve done it, I’ll know you’re not playing me.”

“What do you want me to do?” She asked.

He pulled out a key. “Go to my house now and bring my mother-in-law’s body here. I’ll dig a pit beforehand. Once you help me, we’ll be in the same boat, and I’ll do everything I can to help you kill Yamamoto Sakura.”

“This…” A shiver ran down Su Xiaoxiao’s spine. She stared at the key in his hand. After a long pause, she said, “I… I can move it for you. But if you bury her here, she’ll be found eventually, it’s only a matter of time. When the police check the campus cameras and see me coming from your house carrying a body, I’ll be a suspect. You’re the security captain. Shut off the campus surveillance first, then I’ll help you move the body here.”

“You really don’t have to help him, Su Xiaoxiao. You’ve already got leverage.”

“Still too young, she panicked and agreed.”

“Honestly, she just wants Yamamoto Sakura dead so badly she’s rushing things.”

“But you gotta admit, she’s thinking ahead now, even using Liang Wei’s position to shut off the cameras so he can’t frame her later.”

“Word is she spent a whole month at Chen Shu’s place after the last episode. Guess she learned a lot.”

Liang Wei immediately agreed. “Alright, take the key. I’ll shut down the cameras now. Listen carefully, the body’s hidden in the bathroom ceiling. Be careful taking it down, don’t leave any traces, and don’t let anyone see you.”

“Let’s split up. I’ll wait for you here.” He shoved the key into her hand. Su Xiaoxiao slipped it into her pocket and headed toward the staff quarters. When she was out of sight, Liang Wei smirked.

“A student is still just a student, how could you outplay me? As soon as you bring the body out, I’ll deny everything. If you dare talk, I’ll even turn it around and say you killed her. Heh heh…” His words went straight into the livestream, the viewers panicked.

“It’s over, Su Xiaoxiao’s been tricked!”

“Told you, no way he’d agree that quickly. He’s just using her desperation to make her move the body. Once it’s out of his house, he can wash his hands of it.”

“Liang the Clown, crying little victim, turns out the clown wins this round.”

Time ticked by. After shutting off the surveillance, Liang Wei returned to the grove. He took a shovel and dug a deep pit in a secluded spot. About half an hour later, he heard light footsteps.

“She’s here.” He stopped digging, excitement rising. Finally, he could rid himself of the burden his mother-in-law’s corpse had brought him.

“Su Xiaoxiao,” he called, poking his head out from behind a tree and beckoning to the girl with the schoolbag. She ran over quickly, dropping her bag, her face expressionless, he saw under the dim light that it was smeared with blood.

“The body… I chopped it into pieces and put them in the bag. No one knows it’s a body…” she said flatly.

Opening the bag, Liang Wei saw the mess of flesh and blood inside. He couldn’t help praising, “Su Xiaoxiao, no wonder you’re one of the top students in your class, you’re clever.” He began dumping the remains into the pit. 

But then Su Xiaoxiao added, “But… the bag’s too small. I couldn’t bring the whole body out. Your mother-in-law’s head is still at your place. Once you help me kill Yamamoto Sakura, I’ll go get it for you. Alright?”
