The entire upper torso was missing.

So instead, Chen Shu forced Liang Wei to eat Su Xiaoxiao’s upper body. This way, the police could indirectly confirm that Liang Wei was the one who tampered with the corpses.

Inside the hotel, Yamamoto Sakura looked at the dumbfounded Su Xiaoxiao and sneered.

“Liang Wei ate your ‘body’. Your flesh and blood is in his belly now. Congratulations, you’re going to be a daddy.”

Su Xiaoxiao ignored her.

“Hey, sis, you’re gonna be a daddy,” Sakura teased again.

Su Xiaoxiao shot her a glare. “Do you think you’re funny?”

Back at the scene, Liang Wei was leaning against the wall, hunched over, retching uncontrollably. His mind was slowly clearing. He was starting to remember what happened last night. It was Chen Shu who gave him that white, soft “bun.”

He had no idea why he ate it. Maybe he really was hungry at the time. But thinking back now, that definitely wasn’t bread. That was Su Xiaoxiao’s upper body. Chen Shu had dismembered his own sister.

After eating it, he’d lost consciousness, Chen Shu must’ve drugged it. Once he passed out, Chen Shu probably stuffed the rest of the flesh into his mouth bit by bit while he was helpless and unaware.

“Ugh—” Liang Wei kept gagging, tears running down his face.

“You sick bastard!” Suddenly, Chen Shu lunged at him, grabbing Liang Wei’s neck with both hands cuffed. “You’re a real freak, huh? You’ve got some filthy desire for my sister, don’t you? Even when she’s dead, you won’t leave her alone! How the hell could you even bring yourself to eat her?!”

The officers quickly pulled Chen Shu off.

Liang Wei shouted at Officer Wang Zheng, “Officer Wang! Chen Shu was at the morgue last night! He’s the one who fed that to me!”

Chen Shu roared back, “Am I insane or what? Why the hell would I feed my own sister’s body to this bastard? What would I get out of that?”

“Yeah, what would he get?” Wang Zheng asked coldly.

“He… he…” Liang Wei was speechless. He truly didn’t know what Chen Shu’s real motive was. He felt like he’d fallen right into Chen Shu’s trap.

What now? He couldn’t clear his name.

“Could it be… that Chen Shu made me eat Su Xiaoxiao’s body to make it seem like I have some perverse obsession with her? So then the police would suspect that Sakura’s death wasn’t Su Xiaoxiao’s doing alone, that I was involved too?”

“Did Chen Shu somehow figure out that I was the one who threatened Su Xiaoxiao into going after Sakura? That everything that happened was because of me?”

“But he has no proof, so he used this disgusting setup to pin both Sakura and Su Xiaoxiao’s deaths on me?”

Liang Wei suddenly realized this was very possible. It all made sense. Otherwise, Chen Shu’s actions made no sense at all.

Wang Zheng said, “Lead the way.”
