At the same time.

“Turn right in 50 meters ahead. Speed limit 60. You are speeding.”

The voice of navigation came from the phone. Lin Ge stepped on the gas pedal nonchalantly, turning the steering wheel quickly.

Some people, on the surface, are fairy godmothers, but in reality, they’re midnight driving gods.

“Are you sure it’s here?” she asked the person sitting in the passenger seat, “I didn’t even know there was a ‘box’ here…”

“It must be. I heard Yang Buqi say Xiangzhang Road,” Zhu Tang said confidently, “Just drive along the road once, if we can’t find the entrance, then there’s nothing we can do.”

Lin Ge responded with a sound, then asked curiously, “How did Xu Turan end up in that place?”

“Not sure, they said it was to save someone,” Zhu Tang yawned, “That place is said to be not dangerous. But I’m still a bit worried.”

It wasn’t that they didn’t trust Xu Turan’s abilities, but that girl had never been in a “box” before, and her style was rather reckless. What’s most needed in a box is caution; if she did something foolish, even a non-dangerous place could become high-risk.

So Zhu Tang, after much consideration, directly sent a message in the group chat, calling on Lin Ge to come and check it out together.

Originally, Rapunzel Shu Xiaopei was also going to come along. But her hair grows particularly fast at night, making it difficult to manage. She had no choice but to let the other two go first, and she would come over on her own after dealing with it.

“It seems we’re not allowed to park on this road,” Lin Ge looked around and said with difficulty, “How long will we be here? I’m afraid of getting a ticket.”

“Hey, isn’t there a spot ahead? At the entrance of that park? There’s already a car parked there…” Zhu Tang suddenly patted Lin Ge’s shoulder. Lin Ge looked over as instructed, and the moment she saw that car, she suddenly made an “eh” sound.

“That’s Yang Buqi’s car,” she said in a low voice, “I’ve seen it in the parking lot of Ciji Institute.”

The two looked at each other, then at the metal gate in front of Yang Buqi’s car, both understanding something in their hearts.

Lin Ge parked the car, and the two got out and walked towards the metal gate. After a few steps, Zhu Tang’s phone suddenly vibrated twice.

She took out her phone and found that someone was messaging in the WeChat group, frantically @-ing her—Zhu Tang frowned slightly, opening the message while walking through the metal gate in front of her.

That group was a friendship group, including their Fairytale Town group of four, plus that mermaid girl. In addition, they also had a dedicated task exchange group, which didn’t include the mermaid, only the other four.

With tonight’s unexpected turn of events, Zhu Tang had immediately posted about it in the group. However, due to some panic and drowsiness at the time, the message that should have been sent to the small group was accidentally sent to the larger group of five.

Now, frantically @-ing her in the large group was the little mermaid who never spoke in the group.

—【Don’t go to that place.】

—【Don’t go don’t go don’t go!】

—【Have you seen my message? Come back quickly!】

…

—【If you must go, then go to the Thinking Study Building! New students report there!】

—【Remember, it must be the Thinking Study Building! You must follow the school rules! Listen to the teachers and class committee!】

—【Never go to the Aspiring Study Building! It’s very dangerous! Don’t report to the Aspiring Study Building, only the Thinking Study Building is safe!!】

At the same time.

At the main entrance of the Thinking Study Building.

Xu Turan, after walking for an unknown length of time, finally emerged from that eerie grove and was standing at the main entrance of the Thinking Study Building, massaging her slightly sore shoulders.

Normal travel usually doesn’t tire the shoulders. But there was no choice, that grove wasn’t just filled with trees—various strange shadows appeared and disappeared in the grove, emitting a smell like mud, floating here and there, extremely eye-catching.

Theoretically, due to Xu Turan’s passive effect “Confusion”, these ghostly shadows wouldn’t attack her. But that didn’t mean Xu Turan wouldn’t attack them.

…One punch each, each beating yielding one to ten Courting Death Value points, better than nothing.

On her way here, Xu Turan had accumulated 80 points.

She hesitated for a few seconds between “going back to the grove to try to round up to an even number” and “entering the Thinking Study Building first to explore new territory”, and finally chose the latter, stepping into the hall of the Thinking Study Building.

Almost at the moment she stepped in, a buzzing sound suddenly exploded in her ears. Xu Turan felt the scene before her eyes spin, and when she regained clarity, she found that her clothes had changed.

She was wearing a white shirt on top, paired with a plaid skirt. The skirt had large pockets on both sides, one of which was bulging.

She reached into the pocket and pulled out a small white medicine bottle.

…What is this thing?

Xu Turan frowned and thought for a while, but couldn’t remember. She felt her shoulder and touched the strap of her backpack. She thought for a moment, took out some silver-colored paper to wrap it, and carefully stuffed it deep into her backpack.

…She didn’t know why she should wrap it in paper first, she just instinctively felt she should do so. There were other things in the bag, but Xu Turan didn’t have time to check them, zipped it up, and continued walking in.

I need to go register first.

This thought strangely yet firmly occupied her mind. She saw signs on the first floor wall pointing to the registration office, followed them all the way, and gently pushed open the door of the registration office.

A man with a pale face was sitting inside, who, noticing her arrival, mechanically raised the corners of his lips.

“Hello, student. Are you here to register?”

He spread a form and a piece of paper on the table: “Come on. Fill in the information. That’s all you need to do.”

Xu Turan heard herself respond, obediently entered the room, and sat down at the table.

The form was a very common school registration form. And that piece of paper was actually an ID card. At the top of the card was Xu Turan’s ID photo, and below was a blank name field.

The Xu Turan in the photo was smiling elegantly and cutely. However, the photo itself was in black and white, strangely giving off a bit of oddness.

Xu Turan herself seemed unaware of this, just obediently picked up the pen. The teacher pushed the ID card in front of her: “Come on, fill in the name first. The name is very important.”

Xu Turan made an “mm” sound and put pen to paper. Just as she wrote the first stroke, a sharp, long whistle suddenly sounded in her mind, like an alarm exploding in her ears—

Xu Turan closed her eyes uncomfortably, and when she opened them again, her eyes were completely clear.

…Damn.

Looking at the blank ID card and form in front of her, she broke out in a cold sweat belatedly.
