“Let me introduce myself, my surname is Zhu. Zhu Tang.” The girl said, “Um, you’re called Xu Turan, right? I’ve noticed you before.”

Xu Turan looked at her deeply, hmm, and casually greeted her.

Girl, surname Zhu—she remembered what Pu Han had told her before, about the girl who also had “Chaos” plus “Beast”.

And not only had she noticed Xu Turan, Xu Turan had actually noticed her too—the small desserts and milk tea in the internal cafeteria of Cixin Jimin Mental Rehabilitation Center were very nice, and Xu Turan would sometimes go to buy some after her training courses ended. A few times she ran into meal times and just happened to see this girl eating with friends in the cafeteria.

Every time, their gazes would linger on her for a long time. With her excellent hearing, Xu Turan could always hear some of their whispers.

“It’s her… recently getting close to Yang Buqi…”

“…also a princess… Yang Buqi… very competitive…”

“Need to think of a way… make the first move, snatch her…”

Xu Turan: “…”

For some reason, she felt like she might have gotten involved in some trouble. She glanced at the girl beside her again, just about to open her mouth to say goodbye, when Zhu Tang already rushed to say: “Today the cafeteria has blueberry waffles and kumquat lemon tea, do you want to go check it out?”

Xu Turan’s footsteps paused, and she looked over suspiciously. Zhu Tang’s smile froze for a moment: “Those are the star dishes of the restaurant, I just thought you might like them.”

Xu Turan: “…”

She thought for a moment, then took the initiative to walk into the stairwell, and beckoned to Zhu Tang. Zhu Tang looked around, not understanding, and walked over: “What is it?”

“Nothing. Just want to chat with you first.” Xu Turan said directly, slowly folding her arms.

“I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like to drag things out until mealtime. And as you said, blueberry waffles sell out easily. So, let’s just get this over with quickly, okay?”

She smiled at Zhu Tang, without any malice: “You and your two little companions have been staring at me for at least three days. Not just in the cafeteria, I’ve also seen you guys wandering outside after training courses…”

“Please tell me, what exactly do you want to do, okay?”

Zhu Tang: “…”

Xu Turan tilted her head very patiently: “What, is it inconvenient to say?”

“…It’s not that.” Zhu Tang scratched her hair, paused for a moment, and then smiled somewhat embarrassedly, “I originally had a plan prepared, a gradual one. But you suddenly came at me like this, turning the tables… I’m a bit at a loss…”

Xu Turan: “?”

“It’s… a bit difficult to say…” Zhu Tang closed her eyes and pondered for a moment, then let out a breath, “Alright, I’ll just ask directly.”

“You and Yang Buqi, is your relationship fixed now?”

Xu Turan: “…”

She looked at Zhu Tang in bewilderment, just about to speak when the other hurriedly added: “Don’t misunderstand, I’m talking about the mentor-mentee relationship.”

“I know you’re talking about the mentor-mentee relationship.” Xu Turan was even more bewildered, “No. What’s the matter?”

Zhu Tang: “So there’s no agreement either?”

Xu Turan frowned at her: “No.”

“That’s good then.” Zhu Tang looked relieved, “Alright, I’ll say it directly—you’re Snow White, right?”

Xu Turan: “…?”

“And on our side—the two companions you saw before. Their qualities are Rapunzel and Fairy Godmother respectively. Each has one tendency at Candle level.”

Xu Turan: “…??”

“We actually want to form a themed fixed team. We’ve even thought of a name, it’s called ‘Fairytale Town’.” Zhu Tang said seriously, “So I wanted to ask, are you… interested?”

Xu Turan: “…???”

“Wait, let me process this.” She raised one hand and closed her eyes briefly, “So you guys… want to pull me in as an accomplice?”

“As a companion.” Zhu Tang corrected seriously, “We’re the good guys, we can’t use such strange words—but it’s basically what you’re thinking.”

Xu Turan was almost amused: “Just because I have a quality called ‘Snow White’?”

“It’s not just that.” Zhu Tang smiled, “I actually saw you before you joined Cixin Jimin Mental Rehabilitation Center.”

“?”

“I followed up on that incident at the suburban guesthouse.” Zhu Tang said seriously, “I even saw you when your companion carried you out of the guesthouse. But you were unconscious at that time.”

In fact, when Yang Buqi later used a prop to trace back the situation in the “domain” of the guesthouse, she was already deeply impressed by Xu Turan. Later, when she found out that Xu Turan also came to Cixin Jimin Mental Rehabilitation Center for training, and her quality happened to be the very fairy tale-like “Snow White”, she immediately had the idea of pulling her in to debut together no matter what.

“…” Xu Turan looked at her with a complex expression, not knowing what expression to put on for a moment, “Then why did you ask about Yang Buqi first?”

“I saw you two always coming and going together before, I was afraid you two were already bound together.” Zhu Tang said helplessly, “Yang Buqi’s level and position are higher than ours. It takes courage to openly compete with him for someone.”

Xu Turan: …For the first time in her life, she learned that she was so in demand.

She pondered seriously for a while, then mused aloud: “So you’re saying, your group now has three people, and with me it would be four…”

“It might be five.” Zhu Tang immediately said, “There’s another newcomer in the institute whose quality is The Little Mermaid. We’re also in contact with her.”

…Are you guys forming a team or setting up a theme park?

Xu Turan looked over with some subtlety, unable to decide how to respond for a moment. Seeing her silence, Zhu Tang took the initiative: “Of course, you don’t have to agree right away. I have a PowerPoint prepared, you can leave your contact information, and I’ll send it to you later. You can think about it more.”

After saying this, she paused and added: “Besides, it’s just finding teammates, not finding a father. We can try it out, and if it doesn’t work, we can split up later.”

“I know you have a good relationship with Yang Buqi. But he’s not here now, during this time, you can completely try to contact other aspects… Don’t hang yourself on one tree. You can hang ropes on several trees, you know.”

Zhu Tang persuaded earnestly. Xu Turan raised her eyebrows slightly and asked curiously: “Before that, I’m more curious. What’s your quality?”

Zhu Tang was still thinking about her words when she heard this and was stunned: “Eh?”

“Your quality.” Xu Turan said, “Aren’t you guys Fairytale Town? Which fairy tale character are you?”

Zhu Tang blinked and her expression became relaxed: “Can you guess?”

Xu Turan glanced at the red dress she was wearing, and said uncertainly: “Little Red Riding Hood?”

“No.” Zhu Tang rolled up her sleeve, showing her wrist to Xu Turan, where a layer of fine scales was covering it.

“You might not believe it when I say it—I’m the evil dragon!”

…?

“The Western kind, a fire dragon. Although I can’t breathe fire… but I can grow scales.” Zhu Tang blinked her eyes, “These scales are resistant to high temperatures and sharp objects. Very useful. So even though my level isn’t high, people often pull me into high-risk missions…”
