Chapter 46: Wish You Peace~Haa Wish You Peace~

Xu Turan found herself back in the Path of Chaos.

She didn’t know how she got here, guessing she might have had another dream while unconscious. What she cared more about was her current state—

Different from before. In the past, every time she “logged in,” she was standing on that deep, dark path. But now, she was floating in the air.

…To be precise, she should be “carried” by something, flying in the air.

Belatedly, Xu Turan felt beneath her, touching something smooth and wet, with some curvature, its surface covered with fine scales.

It was a fish.

Now, she was sitting on a fish, floating above the “Path of Chaos.” Below her was a flickering light—Xu Turan remembered this light. The last time she came to the “Path of Chaos,” it was because she touched that point of light that she successfully leveled up to the Candle level of chaos.

…The question is, what’s going on now?

Why was she floating here? What was she sitting on? And what should she do next?

Should she… move forward?

—As if some switch had been flipped. The moment the idea of “moving forward” appeared in Xu Turan’s mind, the fish beneath her suddenly moved, its soft pectoral fins stretching out in the dark night, its long tail swishing, suddenly diving downward—

Then hovering above the small path, it began to swim rapidly forward.

Heaven knows, Xu Turan was dumbfounded.

The path was still crowded with transparent figures, shoulder to shoulder, moving busily forward. Xu Turan rode the fish, brushing over their heads, leaving a large group of people behind in an instant—like an arrogant pay-to-win player.

…To be honest, it felt pretty awesome.

After the initial shock passed, Xu Turan gradually adapted, even enjoying it a bit. Although questions remained in her mind, she thought—whatever, since I’m here already.

Xu Turan relaxed on the fish’s back, watching it swim forward.

Starting from the position of the light spot, after swimming for an unknown time, an iron gate appeared before them—monsters were lurking vigilantly behind the gate. As soon as they approached, sharp claws thrust out from the gaps in the iron gate, hook-like nails covered in dried blood stains.

But the big fish showed no fear, letting out a long whistle to drive away the monster, crashing through the gate and rushing past—the gate closed quickly after they passed through. Xu Turan turned her head in confusion, finding that the monster no longer paid attention to them, but continued to guard the gate, blocking the next person approaching.

Like a faithful gatekeeper.

She was stunned for a couple of seconds, then turned her gaze back to the front. The path ahead became more rugged, and the figures traveling with her became fewer. The whole atmosphere felt increasingly cold and eerie, with strange calls faintly coming from the shadowy forests on both sides.

Xu Turan looked around curiously, while the fish continued without pause. After swimming forward for a while, another cluster of light appeared before Xu Turan—this cluster was larger and brighter. Just looking at it made one feel warm. The fish carried Xu Turan forward, and she instinctively reached out, her fingertips brushing over the light cluster.

…This was “Lamp.”

Although her brain didn’t receive any prompts, she naturally realized this point.

This fish had carried her from the realm of “Candle,” all the way across to the realm of “Lamp.” And it helped her touch the light cluster representing “Lamp.”

And it was still moving forward. Xu Turan looked up and saw another iron gate looming in the distance—if her guess was correct, passing through that gate should lead to the realm of “Torch”…

At this moment, the fish suddenly shook violently.

Xu Turan: “…?”

“Hey? Hey? Are you alright—whoa!”

Before she could finish speaking, the fish suddenly shot upward like mad, then thrashed about shaking its head and tail. Xu Turan was originally just sitting dry on top, with no tools in hand. As it shook, Xu Turan almost instantly slid off the smooth fish back, falling heavily downward—

At the moment her body hit the ground, Xu Turan clearly heard two “crack” sounds.

The next second, she suddenly opened her eyes.

She saw a familiar face.

“Feifei…” she spoke instinctively, only realizing something was wrong after speaking.

Why is Yang Buqi’s face below Feifei??

How strange… am I still dreaming?

“…” Yang Buqi was clearly a bit speechless, but at this urgent moment, he had no time to say much. He just kept covering Xu Turan’s forehead with his hand, anxiously saying, “Look again? Do you recognize who I am? Is your mind clear? Your forehead is so hot…”

Xu Turan: “…”

She wanted to speak, but her mind was in a daze, only managing to say incoherently, “I just fell from above… my legs are broken…”

“Legs?” Yang Buqi immediately felt her knees, “It’s fine, your legs are fine… Xu Turan? Xu Turan?!”

Before he finished speaking, Xu Turan’s head drooped to the side, and she fell asleep again.

Yang Buqi: …!

He nervously patted Xu Turan’s face, unable to wake her up again. The door was pushed open, and Pu Han appeared at the doorway, his face deathly pale.

“What’s going on? I could hear you wailing from the stairwell…”

“Her condition isn’t right.” Yang Buqi’s eyes darkened slightly, “When will this domain end?”

“Soon. In about 20 or 30 seconds.” Pu Han said, raising the silver sealing box in his right hand, “After all, the main body has been trapped. Next, we just need to wait for the remaining effects to dissipate.”

“Why does it still take so long.” Yang Buqi closed his eyes, continuing to try to wake Xu Turan.

It wasn’t long ago that they successfully sealed the main body of Haunted House No. 71—just as planned earlier, after completing the charging preparation of the sealing box, they lured Haunted House No. 71 into the time fragment and trapped it.

Because Xu Turan wasn’t there, the task of attracting No. 71’s main body had to be left to Pu Han. Fortunately, as a Radiance level, and a mentally fragile omniscient Radiance level at that, his attraction to No. 71 was actually stronger than Xu Turan’s. The whole process was thrilling but ultimately successful.

The moment No. 71’s main body was pressed into the sealing box, the time-space fragment in the basement began to shatter layer by layer. However, the collapse of the entire domain still needed some time. Yang Buqi immediately set out, searching all over the house for Xu Turan, finally making it to the study. As soon as he entered, he saw her lying motionless on the ground, covered in blood, almost scaring his soul out of his body.

More importantly, even though she had taken the medicine, and he had been “treating” her for so long… there was no sign of her waking up.

Yang Buqi grew increasingly anxious. Pu Han at the door, seeing the situation wasn’t right, staggered in to take a look. Upon seeing the set of runes Xu Turan had drawn on the floor and cabinet, his expression changed slightly.
