But the girl was very selfish. She still used her authority to forcibly marry him, knowing that he didn’t love her, yet she was selfish once again… She married him against his will.”

…

It seemed like an eternity had passed since her story ended, but Mo Yu was stunned.

Why did it have to be like this?

“Was that girl you?” he couldn’t help but ask.

“Huh… it was me… So Zhang Yunhe has never hated Mo Yu, but instead liked him very much, so much so that she didn’t know how to win his heart. Now you tell me, what do you want me to do? ”

Hearing the woman’s calm voice in his ears, Mo Yu’s mind was in turmoil for a moment. He had been struggling for so long, only to realize in the end that he had been wrong all along.

Thinking about this, he took a deep breath and said, “I need some time to think… Can you please leave first?” Yes, the amount of information was too overwhelming, and he needed to process it.

So all the problems stemmed from this. Then what kind of life had they been living for all these years? Thinking about this made his head spin.

Zhang Yunhe’s body stiffened, she released his waist, stood up, and looked at the man sitting on the bed, speaking coldly, “I have only one thing to say. You belong to me in this lifetime. Even if I die, I won’t let you leave. So, don’t even think about the person you like in this lifetime. At least, no matter what you think in your heart, it’s best not to let me know. Otherwise, I won’t be able to help but kill her.” With that, she turned and walked away, leaving Mo Yu stunned behind her.

Bang…

It wasn’t until he heard the sound of the door that Mo Yu snapped out of his trance.

“Kill… kill what? Kill yourself?” Mo Yu couldn’t help muttering to himself. At this moment, he had an indescribable feeling in his heart. The problem that had troubled him for so many years had finally been resolved.

At this moment, all he was left with was exhaustion and ten thousand alpacas galloping through his mind.

He understood her story, but she didn’t know his own story.

Did he really think he had enough time to meet her every day and say “You’re blocking my way”

Because he did it on purpose. At first, he found her coldness and indifference quite amusing, but gradually he discovered her vast knowledge and ability in everything.

Over time, he fell in love with a woman who didn’t like to talk and often ignored him.

She wore the same faded clothes every day, eating steamed buns while reading. Gradually, her figure unconsciously appeared in his mind.

That day, when he heard she had passed the imperial examination, he was happy all night, intending to congratulate her. But the next day, before he could see her, he found himself inexplicably married.

When he found out she was the one he married, he couldn’t sleep for the entire night out of happiness… But after marrying her, he realized she didn’t seem to like him. And so, for many years, he spent each day waiting.

“What’s going on? Why is this happening to me?” If only he had asked clearly earlier, perhaps everything would be different.

This time, he really had to thank Gu Tingshu. Although it was a misunderstanding resolved by accident, he was still grateful to him. Otherwise, he might never have known that she loved him.

But now, how should he explain to his wife?

“Forget it, I don’t want to think about it. My daughter will be out of school soon. I’ll go make her something delicious.” Although the Zhang family had servants, he always liked to do these things himself.

That evening, he personally prepared a table of food, but at dinner time, he found her silhouette still absent from the courtyard gate.
