Cheng Pang had not lied to him. The reason he chose this profession was not only because it made money, but also because he wanted to study the formulas of popular web novels, laying a solid foundation for his own stallion novel.

Class ended.

As Cheng Pang walked out of the school gate, a black Lincoln suddenly stopped in front of him.

Before he could even recognize the model, a burly man dragged him into the car.

For a moment, he thought he was being abducted and wondered who would use such an expensive car for human trafficking… until he saw Zhou Wei sitting in the back seat, right beside him.

Cheng Pang: “Why are you here?”

The luxurious, brand-new black Lincoln, the chauffeur, and two bodyguards in sunglasses finally made Cheng Pang feel the original flavor of this novel—“The Rich School Tyrant Fell in Love with Me.”

Zhou Wei looked at him with a half-smile, “Surprised?”

Cheng Pang: “What?”

Zhou Wei: “I plan to take you home tonight. Don’t you like me? You should be happy.”

Although he smiled, the smile never reached his eyes.

Cheng Pang understood his implication immediately, covering his chest with his hand, “Stop, I’m still a child!”

Zhou Wei: “If you really liked me, shouldn’t you be happy? Or are you just pretending?”

His features were beautiful, his pupils deep, but there was something subtly hidden within them.

Cheng Pang raised his head and saw that the Blackening Value was 71.

Damn, what’s going on? I clearly didn’t do anything, so why is he suddenly blackening?

His brain immediately started spinning, wondering if something had happened at home.

That didn’t make sense. Even if his parents quarreled, it wouldn’t involve him.

According to the timeline, he would only learn about Qiu Yu’s matter in his second year of high school.

Yet Zhou Wei’s lips curved in a faint smile, staring at him without moving.

Cheng Pang instantly recalled the novel’s narration, realizing this was a precursor to Zhou Wei’s rage. And although Zhou Wei had a bad temper, most of the time he would vent it immediately. Only in rare cases would he stare like this, as if trying to uncover something—that was the moment when he felt deceived!

When he was truly furious, he became quiet.

The novel stated that Zhou Wei loathed lies to an extreme degree, even those from his biological parents.

His eventual blackening was less about setbacks and more about disgust.

Qiu Yu had told him he would never compete with him over anything, yet still remained entangled with Xu Lin.

His father had sworn he was his only son, yet he cheated and brought home an illegitimate child.

He must have noticed a flaw.

Given the short time frame, either something else unknown had happened, or it was because of the conversation with Qiu Yu this afternoon?

According to the principle that any important dialogue in novels must have eavesdroppers, this was highly likely.

Cheng Pang admired his own quick wit and tested cautiously, “I chatted with Qiu Yu today.”

Zhou Wei’s eyes flickered.

Cheng Pang immediately knew he was right. His brain spun faster, and he grinned, “Your uncle is a famous online novelist, isn’t he? I really admire him. Today I wore a dress, and Qiu Yu got really upset. He thought I was being bullied, so I had to trick him, saying I only did it to get close to your uncle. Otherwise, his sense of justice would explode, and he’d stick up for me. Clever, right? Honestly, I was worried about you getting hurt. You can’t be in any danger.”

Zhou Wei scrutinized Cheng Pang. His expression was so calm and natural that, for a moment, Zhou Wei couldn’t tell if it was true or false.

That afternoon, Liu Bai had said to Qiu Yu, “Don’t think of Zhou Wei as such a bad guy.”

Clearly, in Liu Bai’s heart, he did not believe Zhou Wei to be bad.

This was also the reason he had gone out to listen to their conversation.

Most girls chased him either because of his fame, or his looks, or simply because he was “bad.” Bad enough that when he bullied others, yet protected them, they felt a sense of superiority.

Zhou Wei leaned closer, “Liu Bai, I’m feeling a little lonely tonight. Will you stay with me?”

The chauffeur blushed when he heard this. At the red light, he couldn’t help sneaking a glance in the rearview mirror at Zhou Wei’s companion.

Uh… fake… fat lady? That taste is way too peculiar!

Cheng Pang lifted his head. Zhou Wei’s Blackening Value remained unchanged.

He hadn’t fully trusted him.

This was clearly a test. This person was extremely guarded. What should he do?

Refusing was not an option.

Zhou Wei was watching his expression, waiting for his answer.

At that moment, the car stopped. The driver said, “We’re home.”

Zhou Wei: “Get out.”

Did he really have to go home with him? If he refused now, it might seem normal, but Zhou Wei would clearly be angry. He was a self-centered person who demanded absolute loyalty and obedience from others.

Cheng Pang hesitated for thirty seconds. Maybe he could gamble. Zhou Wei was straight; he was just testing him and would definitely stop first. So Cheng Pang grinned and said, “I didn’t expect our relationship to develop this fast.”

Zhou Wei was the first to open the door. The bodyguard dutifully got out and opened the door for Cheng Pang as well.

Holding his backpack, Cheng Pang stepped onto the greenish muddy ground and saw a massive four-story white villa, sitting like a small mountain, with a big garden and a swimming pool. It looked exactly like something out of a TV drama.

But he didn’t let himself get distracted. He quietly made a plan. The south was the direction they came from. If he had to run home, he should head that way.

At critical moments, he would never let his chastity be in danger! Yes!

Zhou Wei walked forward.

A housemaid passing by greeted, “Xiao Wei, you’re back.”

So everyone called him Xiao Wei? Cheng Pang had thought characters in novels like this were usually addressed as Young Master or something.

Zhou Wei merely nodded in acknowledgment, indifferent. Under the maid’s surprised and astonished gaze, Cheng Pang followed, forcing himself to put on a smile that was meant to show he was pure and innocent.

The living room was empty. Zhou Wei’s parents seemed not to be home. As they went upstairs, a disheveled man happened to come down. After drinking a sip of water, he belatedly said, “Wei Wei, why aren’t you greeting your uncle?”

Uncle? If he hadn’t said so, Cheng Pang would have thought he was some homeless man.

Zhou Wei kept walking upstairs, completely ignoring him.

The uncle seemed used to Zhou Wei’s coldness and simply sat at the dining table, eating.

Cheng Pang suddenly realized, “Hu Wei Zhi Feng?”

The uncle looked up, “You know me?”

Cheng Pang’s eyes lit up instantly, and he leaned against the railing, “Hello, uncle!”

Zhou Wei’s uncle gave him a quick once-over, “Hmm, hello.”

Cheng Pang chuckled.

Hu Wei Zhi Feng saw Cheng Pang’s bright smile and also smiled, “You two… have fun.”

Cheng Pang nodded, “Okay.”

Zhou Wei took Cheng Pang into his room and locked the door behind him.

Inside was a very spacious private space, more like a living room in an ordinary house, with a huge LCD TV, stereo system, bookshelf, and desk. It was very tidy. On the right side, a half-open room revealed lots of Gundam and aircraft models.

On the left was the bedroom.

Zhou Wei walked in and said, “Light.”

The lights automatically turned on. He casually threw the backpack onto the bed.

This bedroom was larger than Liu Bai’s entire house, with an en-suite bathroom, and especially that huge wardrobe, which could practically fit two people inside.

Zhou Wei: “Close the window. Draw the curtains too.”

The window moved forward and shut automatically. The curtains slid from both sides to the center.

Holy shit, it is even fully voice-controlled. Cheng Pang was completely stunned.

Zhou Wei tugged open his collar and looked at Cheng Pang.

The ceiling light wasn’t bright, tinged with a warm yellow glow. Zhou Wei stood directly beneath it. His eyes, the bridge of his nose, the hollow of his neck, his hands, waist, and legs all cast deep shadows. His sharp features, deep eyes, and high nose, enhanced by the lighting, made him appear even more cold and sharp, especially revealing the muscular contours of his body. Usually, hidden beneath his school uniform during the day, it was impossible to tell.

For a moment, Cheng Pang felt a strange sense of danger.

It was like standing on a battlefield with only a dagger, staring at an enemy armed with cannons. It was pure fear of power.

Now, at the edge of the enormous bed, Zhou Wei stood close, exuding male hormones, like he could go into heat at any moment. The atmosphere was ambiguous and tense, completely unfavorable for him.

But Cheng Pang was the type who, at critical moments, would definitely pull off some ridiculous stunt. He set down his backpack and decided to strike back, asking in an exaggeratedly coy tone, “Wei Wei, do you want to shower first, or should I?”
