“What the heck? Weren’t we just here for some sightseeing? How did it turn into a disaster movie all of a sudden?!”

“Why are there so many snake heads? My god, where did these monsters come from?”

“There must be a fishing maniac on this ship who can catch anything but fish.”

“A nine-headed snake? That’s probably the Hydra from Greek mythology, right?”

“Look at what I found! Quick, get the guys online to watch this live stream!”

“Finally, you’re here. I almost thought you guys got caught by the Magecraft Association for exposing too much.”

“Streamer, you’re finally doing something interesting. I recommended your channel to my group, but all you did was farming and collecting clams. Now they’ve all blocked me! Wait, I’ll get them to come back and watch!”

“System Message: ‘Simply Berserk’ has sent a Starlight Rocket x3!”

“Comment: The streamer finally remembered what his channel is supposed to show. Guys, it’s time to log in!”

…

The nine giant heads of the Monster Snake roared loudly.

The head closest to the tower ship opened its mouth and hissed after taking a heavy punch from Himiko!

In mid-air, Himiko quickly kicked out her right leg.

“Hiyah!!!”

Before being swallowed, she hit the jaw of the snake monster.

“Bang——————————!!!”

The immense force dislocated the Monster Snake’s head, and it swayed before sinking into the whirlpool.

“Alright, one down!!!”

Himiko landed back on the deck, exclaiming joyfully.

“Hiss hiss hiss————————!!!”

The remaining eight heads of the Monster Snake immediately targeted Himiko and charged at the tower ship together!

“Bang, bang——————!!!”

The tower ship shook violently from the impact, as if it were about to break apart at any moment.

“Archers! Shoot!!! Aaaah!!!”

A huge wave crashed onto the deck, sweeping all the archers into the pitch-black sea, eliminating the ship’s only defense force.

“Aaaah, we’re definitely going to die this time! I knew I shouldn’t have listened to you guys and come here. Even with only a few months of supplies left, it’s still better than being eaten by these monsters!!!”

Clinging to the mast, Xu Fu, soaking wet, screamed in panic.

“Ugh…!!!”

Bai Qiu tightly gripped the railing in front to prevent himself from being thrown overboard.

Draco, watching Himiko battle the remaining eight heads, smiled.

“For a mere human Heroic Spirit, she’s quite capable, this woman.”

Then she turned to Bai Qiu.

“Don’t look at me like that. Even if this ship sinks into the belly of that beast, I can ensure your safe escape.”

“But if the ship is gone, what’s the point!!!” Bai Qiu retorted angrily. All he wanted was to borrow the ship to go to sea!

“Well, if the ship is really destroyed, I won’t be able to enjoy your slightly anxious expression anymore. That would be too boring.”

Seeing the situation becoming dire, Draco knew she had to act to save Bai Qiu.

She stretched out her right hand towards the Hydra’s heads, and in the next moment, it began to emit a red aura, transforming into a dragon claw.

“Foolish beast, perish!”

A beam of light shot out from her dragonized right hand, piercing through the head of the hissing Monster Snake.

“Shooo——————————!!!”

Moments later, greenish-brown viscous blood gushed out from the wound on the Monster Snake’s head!

Three Monster Snake Heads Hit, Losing Combat Ability

The greenish-brown blood splattered into the sea, creating a layer of eerie green foam on the water’s surface. The snake blood that landed on the deck quickly corroded it, leaving it riddled with holes in no time. Panic-stricken shouts could be heard from the craftsmen and attendants below, while the lowest-tier sailors continued to struggle desperately to prevent the ship from being pulled into the whirlpool.

“Hiss hiss hiss——————————!!!”

The Hydra, originally with nine heads, now had only five remaining. Its blood-red eyes locked onto Draco standing at the bow of the ship. Suddenly, several snake heads launched an attack on Draco simultaneously!!!

“What an ugly beast, it doesn’t even understand what it means to bare its fangs at me.”

Draco’s hand revealed the golden Holy Grail. Driven by magical energy, the Holy Grail emitted a seven-colored radiance!!!

The Monster Snakes, which had been baring their fangs and flicking their tongues, closed their eyes and roared, shaking their bodies. One of them accidentally hit the main mast of the ship.

“Crack!!!”

The sound of breaking echoed in the ears, and at the same time, the ship lurched violently backward. The entire vessel tilted, creating nearly a thirty-degree angle between the deck and the sea!

“Ahhhhhh————————!!!”

Xu Fu, thrown off balance, slid rapidly backward and was about to fall into the sea! Suddenly, a figure darted over, grabbing Xu Fu and pulling her back onto the deck.

“Hard left rudder!!! Full speed ahead!!!”

The sailors below exerted all their strength to turn the heavy wooden oars, but they couldn’t stop the ship from tilting.

“Drop the ballast stones!!!”

Suddenly, dozens of bamboo baskets filled with heavy stones were thrown overboard on the opposite side of the tilt, forcibly righting the ship!

“W-We’re saved…”

Standing on the now-stabilized deck, Xu Fu tightly hugged the leg of her savior.

“Don’t worry, it’s okay, it’s okay.”

Himiko reassured Xu Fu.

“It looks like you’re hurt.”

Xu Fu noticed Himiko’s arm, which seemed to be corroded by the Monster Snake’s venomous blood during the battle.

“Oh, this little injury? Just eating a bowl of delicious rice will heal it automatically!”

Himiko waved her arm nonchalantly.

“No, we still have to fight. This kind of injury must be treated.”

Xu Fu closed her eyes, gathering magical energy into her hands, which emitted a faint blue glow. Himiko’s bruised arm quickly healed, returning to its original state.

“You’re pretty amazing!”

Himiko, surprised, looked at her fully healed arm and moved it around, feeling no pain at all.

“Although I didn’t find the elixir of immortality on my travels, I did discover many remedies for treating injuries. I’m glad I could help.”

“Alright, next we’ll continue dealing with that Monster Snake, but even so…”

Himiko and Xu Fu turned their gaze towards the Hydra.

Draco Continues the Battle with Hydra

“Hiss hiss hiss————————!!!”

The Hydra, now blinded, roared in agony, thrashing its massive body and churning the sea into chaos.

“We can’t let this go on! Even if we defeat it, the ship won’t hold together!!!” Bai Qiu shouted to Draco, clutching the railing tightly.

“If this little ship sinks, it just proves how flimsy human persistence is. If you can’t withstand a little storm, how does that sorcerer expect to find the Immortality Elixir?” Draco mocked.

“But if there’s no audience, even the most splendid play loses its meaning.”

With a casual wave, the golden Holy Grail flew above the Hydra and suddenly grew several times larger.

“Enjoy this cup of desire!”

A dense black mist poured out from the Holy Grail, cascading down onto the Hydra’s body. The Hydra let out a painful cry, thrashing wildly in an attempt to destroy the Holy Grail above. But the closer it got, the more the black mist corroded it. In moments, all the Hydra’s heads lost their vitality and fell into the sea.

At that moment, the central, largest head of the Monster Snake let out a fierce hiss at Draco!!! The next second, it dragged its massive body and charged at the tower ship!!!

“No, if it hits us, we’re all doomed!!!” Xu Fu, terrified, looked for an escape route, but surrounded by the vast ocean and caught in the whirlpool, there was no way out!

“It’s over, my journey ends here. I never found the Immortality Elixir… I’m not tasty, please save me!!!” Xu Fu’s legs gave out, and she squatted down, hugging her head in a defensive posture.

Himiko, abandoning any attempt to comfort Xu Fu, assumed a fighting stance, her eyes fixed on the oncoming massive body. Despite the improbability of repelling such a huge Monster Snake with her strength, she had to try!!!

“What an utterly hideous sight, but this madness is what makes it less boring for me.”

Standing on the unsteady bow, Draco smiled. She extended her fully dragonized right hand, gathering immense magical energy.

“Shooo——————————!!!”

A dense red beam of magical energy shot out!!! The Hydra’s central head was directly hit, yet it showed no sign of stopping. The head, though pierced, was rapidly healing! The legendary Hydra’s central head was immortal, with regeneration far surpassing the other heads!

Bai Qiu gritted his teeth as he watched the gigantic body rushing toward the ship, ready to destroy it. Draco, however, confidently clenched her dragonized right fist.

“Sink, in the grand waves of my power!!!”

“Boom————————!!!”

Huge waves erupted around the ship, trapping the Hydra. The sea, stained red, formed a massive whirlpool, dragging the Hydra’s body into it with immense force!

“Hiss hiss hiss————————!!!”

Despite the Hydra’s desperate struggles, it was gradually swallowed by the sudden red whirlpool. When the magical energy dissipated, the sea gradually returned to calm.

The tower ship, on the outer edge of the massive red whirlpool, barely maintained its balance.

“Are we… saved???” Xu Fu looked out in disbelief.

On the sea’s surface, the enormous body of the Monster Snake floated, with all nine heads lifeless and the central head submerged.

“Hooray! I finally escaped this monster’s pursuit!!!” Xu Fu jumped up and down on the severely damaged deck.

“Thank goodness we weren’t turned into snacks! Hooray!!!”

Himiko looked at Draco in amazement. She never expected that her usually indifferent younger sister possessed such immense power.

“Bai Qiu, Draco-chan, who exactly are you?”

The live stream screen clearly recorded the scene of the enormous Monster Snake being killed.

“So… strong!!!”

“Although this power is quite a bit less than during Beast VI, it’s still incredibly strong!”

“Wait, isn’t that little girl the same beast from before?”

“Can someone explain how the streamer got involved with Beast VI?”

“Did we miss a few episodes?”

“Most likely, some sort of contract was signed, so they brought her along.”

“Wow, the streamer is even using the power of the beasts now? Didn’t the doctor say Chaldea is supposed to protect humanity’s future?”

“Who cares about Human Order? Stay out of Chaldea’s business!!!”

“System Message: ‘Counter Force Worker’ has sent a Starlight Rocket!”

“Comment: Streamer, don’t go too far, or the boss will get angry!”

“System Message: ‘Depressive Power’ has sent two Golden Cruises!”

“Comment: Just got pissed off by Chaldea, what’s everyone talking about now?”

…

“Phew…”

Bai Qiu finally breathed a sigh of relief, slowly releasing his grip on the railing. With the Hydra defeated, it seemed the ship could still be used, albeit barely.

“Thank you, Draco.”

It was lucky she was there; otherwise, the ship would have been lost for sure.

“Hmm? You seem to have misunderstood something.”

Draco walked over to Bai Qiu, speaking disdainfully.

“I didn’t act for the sake of your weak desires. If you truly want to thank me, then make sure my beast horns grow quickly. That way, I can swallow you and the delicious Human Order in one gulp, hahaha~~~”

“…”

Draco always liked to say things to Bai Qiu in this cryptic manner. Despite that, he was grateful for her help.

With the Hydra defeated and the ship saved, this was the best possible outcome. They should be able to repair the ship once they got back to the village and then set off again, right???

Just as Bai Qiu was relaxing, a somewhat angry voice rang in his ears.

“I never expected you all to achieve this.”

Suddenly, a woman holding a staff appeared in the distant sky.

“Prepare to face the wrath of a God-era Magus!!!”
