“It’s time for the execution, Your Majesty.”

As the prison door opened, a smiling Lev appeared in front of them.

“You two, go and bring Her Majesty the Emperor out.”

When the two soldiers were about to enter the cell to assist the golden-haired girl in front of them, they were intimidated by her gaze.

“…No need, I can walk on my own.”

Then, the exhausted-looking golden-haired girl walked out of the cell, holding her arm.

“…What are you planning, you wicked Magus!”

“No need to rush, Your Majesty will find out today.”

Lev smiled.

“…No matter what you intend to do, I won’t let you succeed so easily!”

“Is that so? Then I’ll look forward to it. Just don’t bore me too much, Your Majesty.”

Lev signaled, and the two soldiers led the golden-haired girl out of the cell slowly.

———–

In the square of Rome, the people gathered as commanded.

Despite the large square and the surrounding streets being filled with people, not a single person dared to make a loud noise.

Fear was written on everyone’s face, and the cause of this fear was the Divine Emperor, Romulus, sitting on the throne in front.

The resurrection of the dead and their reclaiming of power over the country was something that went against common sense and was truly terrifying.

“My Lord Divine Emperor, the person has been brought here.”

“…”

Romulus showed no change in expression, only nodding slightly.

“Bring her up.”

As the golden-haired girl with shackles walked forward, all the Roman people in the vicinity looked up at her.

Even though she was shackled and had been locked away in a dungeon without seeing daylight, the golden-haired girl in her magnificent dress was still beautiful and captivating.

“Divine Emperor! Why did you take Rome away from me?!”

“Rome…can only have one Emperor.”

Romulus, on the throne, spoke with a powerful voice.

“And I am Rome!!!”

The words of the Divine Emperor resonated throughout the land of Rome like law!

All the Roman people gathered there immediately lowered their heads and began to kneel before the person who created the Roman Empire.

“Indeed…the Divine Emperor is beyond my reach. It is your great achievements that created Rome.”

“If that is the case, why don’t you submit to me, my child? Do you want to rebel against Rome?!”

An immensely terrifying pressure emanated from Romulus, causing even the surrounding guards to kneel down and be unable to move.

But in the face of Romulus’s formidable pressure, the golden-haired girl resolutely lifted her head.

“But Rome still continues, and your era of rule has passed! I am the one who inherits your will, whether it’s the past, present, or future. I am the unique fifth Emperor of the Roman Empire!!!”

The golden-haired girl proudly lifted her head.

“Nero Claudius!!!”

“——————?!”

Speaking these words, Nero seemed to once again radiate her own brilliance, and the red aura in her eyes seemed to dim slightly.

“I see, it is fortunate for Rome to have such a dazzling successor in the future of Rome.”

Romulus nodded in praise of Nero’s achievements, but then his eyes turned fierce.

“However, since I have descended here, it is impossible to hand Rome over to anyone other than myself!”

After saying these words, Romulus spoke again.

“But as my child, I allow you to make one request to me, whether it is to beg for mercy or escape, I allow it. Because I deeply love Rome and I also deeply love you, who have become the Flower of Rome.”

“My Lord Divine Emperor! Didn’t we agree to publicly execute Nero?!” Lev quickly confirmed with Romulus.

“This is a conversation between Roman Emperors. The mere Court Magician has no right to speak more!” Romulus stared at Lev with a stern gaze.

“…Understood.”

Lev reluctantly lowered his head and began to think quickly.

If Nero escaped, then his plan would have to be changed.

But the thought of Rome being destroyed by his own hands made Lev, with his head lowered, reveal a terrifying smile.

“Let’s play with you for a little while longer, foolish humans!”

After driving Lev away, Romulus looked at Nero again.

“Tell me, my child, what kind of reward do you seek from me?”

Facing Romulus, Nero stood tall and straight.

“I want to challenge the Divine Emperor once again and determine the winner!”

After hearing Nero’s words, Romulus shook his head.

“You should not seek such a reward. Choose another one, while my mood is still unchanged.”

“I am the fifth Emperor of Rome, even in death, I will fight for this honor!”

Faced with Nero’s persistence, Romulus’s eyes suddenly revealed a fierce light.

“Very well, since you insist, I will no longer see you as my child, but as an enemy who wants to take Rome from my hands!”

A ridiculously large spear appeared in Romulus’s hand, and with a swing, he broke Nero’s handcuffs.

“Choose your weapon freely.”

Nero walked over to one of the soldiers who had escorted her and took a regular longsword from his hand.

“Even though this is just an ordinary sword, it is forged by Rome!”

“Excellent!”

With an imposing aura, Romulus sat on the throne, holding the spear.

“Come, challenge me!”

Nero gripped the sword with both hands and charged straight towards Romulus on the throne.

“Haahhh!”

With all her strength, she swung the sword down.

“Clang!”

Romulus didn’t even move his body, and simply blocked Nero’s strike with the spear.

The outcome of this battle between Nero as a human and Romulus as a Servant was already obvious.

But Nero showed no fear and launched another fierce attack!

“Hnggghhh!”

This time, Nero unleashed an even stronger attack, but it was still blocked.

“Haaahhh!”

Nero refused to give up and continued to push forward.

“Crack!”

The ordinary sword couldn’t withstand such a powerful impact and naturally shattered.

“Farewell, my child, Flower of Rome.”

Romulus said in a low voice, and then the spear in his hand was about to pierce Nero’s body.

“Splurt!”

The sound of piercing echoed as the fresh red blood dripped down.

“Why… is this…?!”

Amidst the astonishment of everyone present.

A black and red tentacle pierced through Romulus’s chest.

“Seriously, how long do I have to witness this kind of farce? I’m starting to get impatient.”

Lev, who was originally standing below, walked over.

“It’s time to end this, the era of humans.”
