- Chapter 3 - Daily Mission Activated!
After leaving the dungeon, Kachua headed straight for the tool shop because the adventurer party had asked her to “sell off everything that could be sold.”
Although the tool shop affiliated with the Adventurers’ Guild didn’t offer high prices, they also didn’t buy things for dirt cheap. Kachua sold the items with a smile at the reliable shop, and then deposited the money into the designated Guild account. Fortunately, she managed to sell everything she had on hand.
Once the items were taken care of, all she had to do was return the provided porter equipment to the Guild and collect her daily wage. And with that, her work for the day was done.
“Thanks for your hard work!”
Leaving the Adventurers’ Guild, Kachua hurried to the city’s marketplace.
“Let’s see, today’s menu will have pork… but I want them to eat some vegetables too…”
After quickly finishing her shopping, her next stop was the Guild-affiliated daycare to pick up her daughter, Barbara. The daycare was part of the Guild’s efforts to recruit more porters, and Kachua had enrolled her daughter there.
Her daughter, Barbara, was three years old. Perhaps because she had an older brother, Barbara was a lively child, and attending daycare seemed much more enjoyable for her than being cooped up at home with Kachua.
“Mommyyy.” Barbara clung to Kachua the moment she saw her arrive, slightly later than usual. “You’re late!”
“I’m sorry! Let’s go home. Oh, would you like a candy?”
“Yes!”
When they arrived at the knights’ official residence—
“You’re late,” her son Ed said, standing in the doorway.
Although Ed also had a key, he was a responsible but unexpectedly sensitive boy. He preferred waiting outside until Kachua and Barbara returned rather than going inside by himself.
“Sorry to keep you waiting. Let’s go inside. Oh, Ed, would you like a candy?”
“Yes, I want one.”
“Me too!”
“Barbara, you already had one. If you eat too much, you won’t have room for dinner.”
The three of them entered their home together.

Until dinner was ready, Ed studied in the living room, while Barbara, who adored her older brother, quietly read a book by his side.
The small living room was part of the government residence and was connected to the kitchen. Kachua could glance up and check on them from time to time while preparing dinner.
Dinner was a simple meal for the three of them: a vegetable salad, pork wrapped in vegetables with honey mustard sauce, sautéed mushrooms and potatoes as a side dish, along with bean soup and bread. It was a standard meal in the labyrinth city of Loa—a modest but balanced diet for the average citizen.
After dinner, Ed bathed by himself, and Kachua took a bath with Barbara. Then, it was time for bed.
With her husband Alan away, the three of them slept together in what used to be the couple’s bedroom. Once Ed, now eight years old, grew a bit older, he would probably move to his own room. But since Alan had been away on assignment, both children had been a bit more emotionally fragile.
Kachua gazed at the sleeping faces of her two children and let out a small sigh. It was a sigh of relief, thankful that another day had passed peacefully.
“Goodnight, darling,” she whispered, thinking of Alan far away as she drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, Kachua was busy with her household chores.
After breakfast, she sent Ed off to primary school and dropped Barbara off at the Adventurers’ Guild daycare.
While knights’ families could send their children to the knight school’s affiliated daycare from the age of three, it only accepted boys. Although the church offered embroidery and reading lessons for girls, Kachua felt that it wasn’t the right fit for her energetic, outdoor-loving daughter, Barbara.
She was truly grateful for the Guild’s daycare, which accepted both boys and girls, allowing Barbara to play freely.

Kachua did the laundry, not just from the previous day but also washing all the sheets and towels, cleaned the house, and prepared lunch while making extra side dishes that would keep for a while.
“Hmm hmm hmm,” she hummed happily as she went about her routine when suddenly, the familiar status board appeared before her eyes!
“Huh? What’s this?”
—Congratulations! You’ve completed today’s daily mission! Well done!—
“Huh? I completed something?”
Kachua tilted her head in confusion. She hadn’t done anything special, and she certainly hadn’t entered any dungeons today.
Ignoring her confusion, the status board continued to display more details.
—Daily Missions:
- Complete at least two tasks from cleaning, laundry, or cooking.
- Say at least one of the following out loud: “Good morning,” “Thank you for the meal,” “Hello,” or “Thanks for the meal.” Greetings are the foundation of a good life.
- Do at least one of the following: take out the trash, clean in front of the house, or tend to the garden. Let’s contribute to keeping the town clean.—
All the tasks were marked as “Complete.”
—Daily Mission Cleared! As a reward, you’ve earned a ‘’Probiotic Drink’!—
The moment the message appeared, something fell from above Kachua’s head.
“Ah!” she exclaimed, quickly catching it. “Oh?”
It was a probiotic drink. The kind sold at the market for 100 gold, or 70 gold when on sale.
The message continued.
—First-time Daily Mission Clear Bonus! You’ve earned a special item useful for both adventuring and household chores!—
“Huh?”
Before she could wonder what it was, a bright light flashed before her eyes. When she cautiously opened them, she saw something sitting on the kitchen table.
“Huh? A ladle and a pot lid?”
No matter how many times she looked, it was definitely a ladle and a pot lid.
“I did think we needed new ones, but still…”
Even as she thought that, she couldn’t shake her disappointment.
Feeling a bit worn out, Kachua gulped down the probiotic drink she’d received from clearing the daily mission.
After calming down a bit, she noticed there was still more text on the status board.
—Skill [Housewife/Househusband] Exclusive Equipment Ladle:
A lightweight and easy-to-use ladle.
Meh, she thought. However, the following description caught her attention.
As long as justice resides in the user’s heart, this ladle will never break.—
“Whoa, that’s… heavy.”
Despite it being lightweight.
—Skill [Housewife/Househusband] Exclusive Equipment Pot Lid:
A lightweight and easy-to-use pot lid.
As long as love resides in the user’s heart, this pot lid will never shatter.—
“I’m not sure I fully understand, but I think I’ve received something amazing.”
Kachua had just acquired a weapon and armor!

It's still ongoing with currently only 30+ chapters. The story is very lightweight. The combat isn't too detailed, but it is still enjoyable to immerse in after a stressful day of work.
