They found the book quickly. Once it was laid open on the table and everyone leaned in to look, this is what was written on the very first page.

『Ah, I know you, boy.』

“Huh? Boy—does it mean me?” Ed’s eyes went wide.

“Book-san, how do you know about me?”

『Magic books can communicate with each other even at a distance. I heard about you from《the Loa Academy》.』

“So you’re a friend of that book? Um, hello, nice to meet you. I’m Ed.”

『Indeed.』Those words appeared on the page in a satisfied tone.

『You want to know about the Supreme Status Ailment Cure Potion, don’t you?』

It seemed like it was willing to share the recipe.

Og raised his voice.

“Dwarves? Where can I find them?”

“Some books do,” Ed replied.

Thick, heavy books sometimes have thumb-cut index tabs to make flipping pages easier. Apparently, those are referred to as 『claw hooks』.

Sure enough, Supreme Potions – Volume II had them too.

Og continued in a serious voice.
