The receptionist at the Adventurers’ Guild confirmed that they had indeed cleared the conditions.

Kachua and the others had officially been promoted to E-rank!

Although E-rank was still considered novice territory, for Kachua, this marked the achievement of one of her immediate goals.

“You’re aiming to become an intermediate porter, Kachua-san?”

Since Kachua and her team had already reached the eighth floor, their E-rank promotion was necessary for future dungeon exploration.

The rest of the team immediately began browsing the E-rank quests posted at the Guild’s entrance.

F-rank quests were available, but they mostly involved mundane tasks like gathering herbs in lower-level floors, which didn’t pay much.

More adventurer-appropriate quests like “Defeat the [Monster Name]!” started at E-rank.

For adventurers, leveling up in rank was a great honor, and some would even throw parties with family and friends to celebrate.

“Even though our rank went up, you don’t seem that excited, Ann,” Kachua quietly said to Ann, who stood apart from the group.

Ann replied with a slight frown, “You stop getting useful items as freebies, so staying just below the limit is fine, isn’t it?”

It was true that now they were E-rank, they wouldn’t receive free teleportation scrolls from the Guild as part of the beginner’s bonus anymore.

By the way, a return teleportation scroll costs 10,000 gold.

An irresponsible adventurer had likely stolen the Healing Stone from the statue.

The statue had a self-repair function, so once the Healing Stone was returned to its original spot, the statue could be restored.

Looking over the quest board again, there were many types of requests—everything from item gathering to monster extermination in nearby villages. The variety was vast.

“There are a few quests we could handle.”

While the items found in dungeons could be purchased at a shop, some people posted quests to ensure they got the amount they needed, making it a bit more lucrative than selling to stores.

The next rank after E is D, but one of the key requirements for promotion is completing certain quest tasks.

High-level quests can lead to an instant promotion, but since only special quests allow adventurers to take on higher-ranked missions, the only option is to steadily complete E-rank quests.
