- Chapter 1 - Congratulations on Your 100th Login!
This is the labyrinth city of Loa.
As the name suggests, it is a city that developed around Loa, one of the world’s largest dungeons. Adventurers flock here every day, determined to conquer a dungeon where no one has ever reached the top floor.
“Phew,” Kachua let out a sigh as she used a scroll of teleportation magic to return from the fourth floor to the first. “I made it back safely today too.” Murmuring to herself, she readjusted the large backpack she was carrying with a quick “There we go.”
Kachua is an adventurer.
However, adventurers come in different ranks, from F-rank beginners to S-rank elites at the pinnacle of their craft. They also have various roles based on their abilities and skills.
Kachua is an F-rank adventurer, the lowest of the low. Some adventurers even refuse to acknowledge people like her as real adventurers.
Why? Because Kachua’s job is to carry the adventurers’ loot. She’s a porter.
When monsters in the dungeon are defeated, they drop items. These dropped items are highly sought after by adventurers, but they can be quite bulky. Porters are responsible for gathering these dropped items and any other materials collected along the way and bringing them back to the surface.
Today, Kachua’s backpack had filled up on the fourth floor, so she parted ways with her party and returned alone.
Her backpack is enchanted and can hold five times more than it appears. It also has a weight-reducing spell. It’s the cheapest of all the magic bags, but even so, it was shockingly expensive to buy.
Luckily, the Adventurers’ Guild provides these pricey magic bags to porters for free.
The only reason that Kachua, an ordinary 27-year-old housewife, can do this job is because of the magical tools provided by the Guild.
***
Adventurers form parties to fight monsters.
When a monster is defeated, party members receive experience points evenly, and the items and gold are divided according to their contributions.
In this way, adventurers level up, upgrade their gear, and grow stronger. But porters like Kachua are just temporary hires; they don’t participate in the battles, and they don’t earn any experience points or dropped items.
The only thing they receive is their wage as a porter.
Since it’s a safe job, it also pays the least of all adventurer roles.
Even the lowest-ranked adventurers make three times as much as a porter. That’s why young adventurers save up quickly, buy gear, and start exploring the dungeon as full-fledged adventurers.
For those who aspire to climb the ranks, being a porter offers no appeal. But for Kachua, a simple housewife, it’s actually quite a good job. While the pay is low for an adventurer, it’s slightly better than doing sewing or laundry work in town. Moreover, the Adventurers’ Guild offers generous support because they’re always struggling to secure porters for such an unpopular job.
During battles, Kachua stays out of the way, using the Guild-provided defensive magic circle and an invisibility ring to protect herself. That’s why, in the six months since she started working as a porter, the worst injury Kachua has ever had is scraping her knee after a small fall.
Kachua is a novice porter, the lowest tier of porters, so her pay is meager, but it actually works out perfectly for her.
Since novice porters aren’t allowed to go to the higher floors, her workday typically ends by early afternoon. Even after dropping off the party’s luggage and exchanging the dropped items for money at the Guild, she has plenty of time to do her grocery shopping and pick up her kids from the Guild’s daycare.
While it’s not high-paying, the job is safe and the hours are short.
For housewives like Kachua, students with limited time, or retired adventurers looking to make some pocket money, it’s an ideal job.
***
Kachua’s family consists of her, her husband Alan, who is a low-ranking knight, and their two children. Currently, however, her husband is stationed far away on border patrol, so it’s just the three of them.
Although they can get by on her husband’s salary, the household budget is tight.
She wants to be able to send her children to school if they wish to go, and she’d also like to save a little for emergencies. Most of all, she dreams of taking the family to visit their father, who is on a solo assignment far away.
For these reasons, Kachua started working part-time as a porter. Her goal? To save up 1 million gold.
With that much, she could cover the family’s travel expenses and still have a little left to put into savings.

Porters typically return on their own, but they can use the teleportation scrolls provided by the Guild, which ensures their safe return.
These scrolls are single-use, disposable magic tools. They always teleport the user to a fixed location—a teleportation circle on the first floor of the dungeon.
The dungeon of Loa stretches upwards, with its highest level rumored to be the 1000th floor.
While it’s only 30 meters from the first-floor teleportation circle to the exit, Kachua had a daily habit of stopping by a small room on her left before leaving the dungeon.
Inside is a statue of the goddess.
Kachua closed her eyes and offered a prayer of gratitude to the goddess statue, “Goddess, thank you for letting me return safely today.”
The goddess enshrined here watches over adventurers. Strangely enough, praying to the statue restores both physical strength and magical power. However, very few people stop here because it’s so close to the entrance. Adventurers eager to begin their dungeon exploration rush ahead, and those returning from their journeys are in a hurry to get back to the surface.
Kachua, however, still has housework and childcare waiting for her when she gets home, so she’s always grateful for a bit of stamina recovery. Since becoming an adventurer, she’s made it a point to pray before leaving.
Of course, she also believes in the goddess. She’s convinced that the reason she’s remained safe so far is because of the kind-hearted goddess. As these thoughts passed through her mind, Kachua continued her prayer.
Just then, a fanfare sounded—
Pah-pah-pah-pahhh!
“!?”
A mysterious voice echoed from nowhere, speaking to Kachua with great enthusiasm, “Congratulations! You’ve reached your 100th login! To celebrate your 100th visit, we present you with the skill [Housewife] as a login bonus!”

It's still ongoing with currently only 30+ chapters. The story is very lightweight. The combat isn't too detailed, but it is still enjoyable to immerse in after a stressful day of work.
