In the live broadcast room, the barrage, which had been quiet, came to life again.

Everyone couldn’t believe their eyes.

Unexpectedly, Bai Qiuye had managed to survive. Not only that, she had managed to instantly kill the ghosts that even the Golden Boy had been unable to resist.

[What the hell?]

[Bai Qiuye killed the ghosts instantly. How is that possible?]

[It must be because of the two knives .]

[Is it a high-level resistance prop?!]

[But she’s only level 1. How can she have such items?]

Immediately, the live broadcast room began to analyse the complicated relationship between Bai Qiuye and the godly player who hadn’t shown his face throughout the entire copy and had only killed a ghost at the beginning of the game.

[These two knives can’t be obtained at level 1.]

[But even if I’m level 1, I can’t even do that with those two knives.]

[I’m guessing that she might have deliberately stayed at level 1 and been trained by some organisation.]

[Of course, that organisation must have a super god player. That’s why they could provide these items.]

[This is a chess move.]

As they talked, some people couldn’t call her a novice or a rice bug anymore. After all, Bai Qiuye had just killed two ghosts right in front of them. If they continued, it would be as if they didn’t have any eyes.

[Actually, if you cover the level 1 icon above Bai Qiuye’s head, she’ll look like a pro.]

[I don’t care. I’ll say it first: Sister is so cool!]

Bai Qiuye took a step forward and stepped on the head of the ghost in front of her.

With a bit of force, the ghost’s head was flattened as if it was made of paper.

09’s voice rang in her ears.

[Do you dare to not kill it for so long this time?]

“Underestimating the enemy is a military taboo,” Bai Qiuye said. “Only by cutting the grass can you get rid of the roots. If you don’t finish the kill, it will be a waste.”

[You’re making stuffing for meat buns.]

09 complained emotionlessly.

Bai Qiuye lowered her head and picked up the knive that had cut off the ghost’s head. Then she stabbed its body twice.

Seeing that the ghost didn’t react at all, Bai Qiuye walked over to the other ghost.

With one stab, the ghost screamed in pain. Only regret remained in its heart.

They were warned before they came.

But they didn’t listen.

They shouldn’t have come!

Mo Jie’s eyes widened. He saw Bai Qiuye crouching with her sleeves rolled up. She started to chop up the ghost on the ground.

Her movements were so practiced, her expression so calm, and the rhythm so pleasing to the ear.

Mo Jie was at a loss for words. He didn’t even have time to enjoy the pleasant surprise of escaping from a desperate situation. Four words were written before his eyes –

Grief! Heart! Sick! Crazy!

He tried to support himself with his elbows on the ground, but because he was too weak, he accidentally fell back down.

Bai Qiuye turned around. Her hair covered half of her eyes, making her expression even more sinister.

She asked, “Brother Jie, you’re not going to die yet, are you?”

Mo Jie had no time to think about the ambiguity in that sentence. He put his trembling hand over his heart. “You actually killed her -”

Bai Qiuye wondered what he was doing. Those four ghosts weren’t even as powerful as the one she had killed outside Widow Du’s house.

Then she saw Mo Jie struggling to cross over. His hands were trembling as he touched the knive stuck in the ghost’s body. He touched it back and forth several times.

“This must be -” Mo Jie resisted the urge to pull his hand back.

He knew that these two firewood knives couldn’t have been obtained by a level 1 Bai Qiuye.

He also realised that his previous judgement was wrong.

Very wrong.

The people behind Bai Qiuye were more than the top 200.

Top 100?

No, top 50?

Mo Jie’s heart was pounding and he was gradually getting scared.

Only people at that level would have such a resistance prop.

At this moment, he had a new understanding of the people Bai Qiuye mentioned and this copy.

He didn’t need to ask anymore.

That person wasn’t willing to appear.

If he pursued the matter further, he would be stepping into a minefield.

Some things were only known by the heavens and the earth. It wouldn’t be good to reveal them.

Mo Jie wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. “If you hadn’t come to rescue me, I wouldn’t be able to sit here and talk. I can’t thank you enough for saving my life.”

Bai Qiuye looked at him with an expression that said, “You were injured by those two ghosts?”

Mo Jie was stunned. “That’s not the reason. I was cursed by my resistance prop.”

The main reason was that the two ghosts were instantly killed by Bai Qiuye before they could touch him.

Because Bai Qiuye saved him, he told Bai Qiuye everything he knew, and roughly told her about the use of the Golden boy.

Bai Qiuye shuddered when she heard this.

There was indeed such a terrifying item in the dungeon. One could imagine how difficult it would be for them to fight the boss.

After learning that Mo Jie had been cursed by the Golden boy, Bai Qiuye’s prejudice against him lessened a bit.

She just felt that Mo Jie was making a big deal out of it. He had used such a powerful item to deal with a few ghosts. He was asking for trouble if he was counterattacked.

She noticed that there was an additional message on her terminal.

[Mo Jie has initiated a transaction with you.

Trade Item: Abandoned Golden boy

Target amount: 1 Survival coupon]

Bai Qiuye looked at him in shock. “What are you doing?”

1 Survival coupon for a resistance prop. Even she knew that this wasn’t an equal trade.

Mo Jie was giving it away for free.

Mo Jie said, “This is the first time I’ve used it, but I probably won’t use it again in the future. I’m not suited for it. ”

If Mo Jie wasn’t suitable, how could she, Bai Qiuye, be?

After seeing the description of the Golden Boy, Bai Qiuye was tempted, but she still had an instinctive resistance to such an evil item.

Bai Qiuye said, “I’m only at level 1, big brother.”

Mo Jie knew that Bai Qiuye couldn’t use Golden Boy at her level, but he had to show a good attitude.

Giving the Golden Boy was to repay Bai Qiuye for saving his life. It was also to tell the god behind Bai Qiuye that he was a person of character.

He believed that after Bai Qiuye received the Golden Boy, the god would definitely be able to solve the problem of the curse.

Mo Jie coughed. “Accept it. During the trade protection period, the effect of the item won’t take effect. If you really don’t need it, you can sell it after leaving the coupon.”

Bai Qiuye was tempted and paid the 1 survival coupon.

Seeing this, Mo Jie took the Golden Boy out of his pocket and handed it to Bai Qiuye with trembling hands.

After that, he closed his eyes and concentrated on breaking the curse.

Bai Qiuye watched the Golden Boy and could only feel that this item was abnormally evil. She shuddered and didn’t want to look at it anymore. She put the Golden Boy into her bag of peace talismans.

Finally, she relaxed and took the time to examine the two ghosts.

She discovered that one of the ghosts had a small horse sewn from cloth underneath.

The pony was dirty and only had one eye.

As she picked up the toy, she received a message.

[Part-time job:

Working hours: Unlimited

Work Matter: A child in the village has lost her beloved toy and is begging for someone to find it.

Work Contact: A child in the village.

Work Reward: 20 survival coupons, the child’s favour.

Punishment for absenteeism: None.

Work progress: 1/2]

Bai Qiuye immediately thought of the little girl who used to wander around Master Wang’s house asking for her doll.

For the past 13 years, she hadn’t been able to find the child’s toy. Every time she saw her, she could only give her the fruit sweets she had prepared.

She didn’t expect the little girl’s toy to be hidden on this ghost.

After dealing with the ghost, she had done half of her job.

At that time, Liu He, who had been knocked unconscious by the tombstone, slowly woke up.

“Did we survive?” He rubbed his forehead and asked.

“Bai Qiuye saved us.” Mo Jie opened one eye and said.

Upon hearing this, Liu He’s eyes swept over Mo Jie. He saw various broken defensive items around him, and his forehead was black. It was obvious that he had been cursed by an evil spirit. His eyes flashed in surprise.

But he quickly shook it off and looked at the time as if nothing had happened.

“It’s almost three in the morning.”

Their bodies were currently 30% paperized. After three o’clock it would be 40%.

By then they would probably be in a very serious stage. They would probably be no different from the paper face lying on the ground.

“Let’s go back and find Widow Du.” Mo Jie struggled to get up and found a branch to support himself on.

Liu He put the quilt with the bones back on his body.

The three of them went back to Widow Du’s house and found her waiting in the living room.

On the calendar in the living room, the red pen circled up to the fifteenth of July, and Widow Du stood there looking extremely surreal.

Was she the Widow Du of 20 years ago, or the Widow Du of 20 years later?

Was she even a human being?

The three of them had this suspicion at the same time.

Widow Du coldly asked, “Where is Du Youfu?”

Liu He opened the blanket, revealing Du Youfu’s washed bones.

Widow Du held out her white hand, her fingertips brushing lightly over the bones.

“It is indeed his.”

It was then that Bai Qiuye and the others task was updated.
