Chapter 224 Blood Cloud Sect

Watching the Elders of the Devouring Demon Sect leave, the middle-aged man’s face showed no expression. They were just a few dozen Mortal World Immortals—not even a match for this True Immortal at the Initial Stage standing before him. Besides, since she was able to block his attack, there must be some secret hidden within her.

After the Elders departed, Wu Mowu finally exhaled in relief. Since they had joined her Devouring Demon Sect and become her subordinates, she naturally wouldn’t ignore their safety. Just as she turned to look at the middle-aged man, her gaze quickly fixed on the three Blood Clouds embroidered on his clothes. Her expression darkened as she said, “Are you from the Blood Cloud Sect?”

“Oh, interesting. I hadn’t expected anyone to actually know about the existence of my Blood Cloud Sect. That’s quite an honor,” the Blood Cloud Sect cultivator replied with a trace of surprise on his face.

The Blood Cloud Sect typically operated with extreme discretion; few forces in the Upper Realm even knew they existed. They never imagined that this seemingly insignificant True Immortal Initial Stage cultivator in front of them would be aware of their Sect. It seemed she carried some significant secrets after all.

The reason Wu Mowu knew about the Blood Cloud Sect was because in her previous life, she had quite a few dealings with them. If Wu Mowu was considered relatively decent among the Demonic Path Immortal Emperors, then the Sect Master of the Blood Cloud Sect, the Blood Cloud Immortal Emperor, was by far the most wicked of all the Demonic Path Immortal Emperors.

As for their relationship, it could barely be called one of enemies. If the Blood Cloud Immortal Emperor hadn’t been a little stronger than her, she would have already gone after him long ago. But now that she had the opportunity, she wouldn’t let the Blood Cloud Immortal Emperor slip away. Apparently, though, she was still not his match. That didn’t prevent her from demanding some “interest” first—the Blood Cloud Sect disciple before her was obviously the best collateral.

Although he was only a Golden Immortal at the Initial Stage, Wu Mowu knew she could kill him, just by using a bit of her trump card.

The Blood Cloud Sect disciple looked at Wu Mowu and his eyes quickly turned lecherous. He sneered and said, “You’re no match for me. Here’s the deal—I’ll give you a chance to survive. Since you know the Blood Cloud Sect, you must also know our strength. If you agree to one of my demands, I can recommend you to join the Blood Cloud Sect.”

“Oh? What demand?” Wu Mowu asked, a hint of curiosity in her tone. At the same time, her spear subtly emitted a faint gray light that would be invisible unless looked at closely.

Wu Mowu already guessed his demand—it was nothing more than selling himself to him. After all, most villains are just puppets controlled by their superiors.

“Jiejiejie,” the Blood Cloud Sect disciple chuckled lewdly, “I want you to keep me company for a while. I’ll make it very comfortable for you. I’m very well-endowed—you’ll just have to bear with it.”

He looked at Wu Mowu without hesitation, practically showing off as he straightened his back, laying out his “assets” for display.

Seeing this, Wu Mowu’s gaze turned deadly—there was no doubt the other party would die.

“So be it. In that case, you shall hit the road! Fallen Demon Dragon!”

With those words, Wu Mowu hurled her spear forward. In an instant, its terrifying power warped the very air around them. Even the Elders of the Devouring Demon Sect who had fled a full light month away sensed the change.

“Do you think Sect Master will be okay?” one Elder asked anxiously. After what had just happened, they were completely won over by Wu Mowu’s commanding presence. If it had been anyone else, they would have run off and abandoned them long ago.

The Great Elder gently shook his head. “No, you don’t know Sect Master yet. She’s a living miracle. This won’t defeat her.”

His eyes shone with unwavering confidence in Wu Mowu as he spoke.

At the same time, two Blood Cloud Sect disciples from the Rising Dragon Sect noticed what was happening, their expressions growing extremely grim.

“This isn’t good. Senior Brother Chen is in danger.”

Without hesitation, the two immediately took to the air, rushing toward Wu Mowu’s location.

Meanwhile, Senior Brother Chen’s own expression shifted to one of shock.

“How is this possible? How could your strength be this formidable?”

He had just sensed what should have been the full extent of Wu Mowu’s power—and yet he hadn’t even fought at full strength himself. Under these circumstances, for Wu Mowu to still turn the tide felt like a cruel joke.

Despite the shock and fear in his voice, he didn’t stop resisting. Suddenly, his great blade swung fiercely.

“Mooncleaver Slash!”

In an instant, the Mooncleaver Slash collided head-on with the Fallen Demon Dragon. Had this not been a full-power attack from Wu Mowu, maybe Senior Brother Chen would have had a chance to win.

In the next moment, they saw the Demonic Dragon directly bite through the Mooncleaver Slash, its power unfazed, and immediately swallow Senior Brother Chen, who was panicking and trying to turn and flee.

“Have they already arrived? Given my current state, I’m afraid I won’t be able to hold out against killing two True Immortal Peak opponents.”

After slaying Senior Brother Chen, Wu Mowu sensed something and her expression turned extremely grim. She detected two powerful auras rapidly approaching.

At this point, she had already expended all her strength on that one spear thrust to kill Senior Brother Chen, leaving no power left to fend off other Blood Cloud Sect disciples.

So, after retracting her spear and taking Senior Brother Chen’s Storage Ring, Wu Mowu immediately headed in the direction where the Elders of the Devouring Demon Sect had departed without hesitation.

Meanwhile, in the True Immortal Association, Wu Xianni—who had been deeply immersed in cultivation—suddenly opened his eyes. Placing a hand over his wildly pounding heart, he muttered anxiously to himself, “What’s happening? Why is my heart racing like this? Could it be that my sister is in trouble?”

Without a second thought, he stood up and vanished from his spot. The next instant, he appeared in the sky above the True Immortal Association. Because of the blood connection between him and Wu Mowu, as long as he closed his eyes and focused, he could sense her general direction.

Soon, Wu Xianni pinpointed her approximate location and, without hesitation, sped off toward the east.

At the same time, the other two Blood Cloud Sect disciples had already arrived at the scene. Realizing that Senior Brother Chen had fallen here, their expressions darkened involuntarily.

“Damn it. I never expected someone to dare kill Senior Brother Chen.”

“In any case, let’s catch up first. I can sense they left not long ago, and their strength must be nearly depleted!”

With that resolve, the two Blood Cloud Sect disciples stopped hesitating, collected Senior Brother Chen’s remaining life essence, and then pursued in the direction Wu Mowu had gone.
